SANTA FE’s best VIEWS in spacious home close to PLAZA!
Beautiful mountain vistas from every window. Sunlight streams in from the east in the morning, affording an opportunity for a sunny breakfast or lunch on the courtyard. The large brick courtyard with table and chairs is off the living room and provides spectacular eastern views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. In the evening when the sun is setting to the west, a balcony off the master suite provides a sunny start to your evening. There are table and chairs on this spacious balcony, where you might enjoy a more intimate dinner as well.

The house is designed as an open plan layout, with all rooms flowing together - on one level except for a few steps up to the master suite, and a few steps down to the laundry room and third bathroom. The double garage can be accessed from this level as well. A queen bedroom, and double bedroom/office share a hall bath, and a third 3/4 bath is available as a powder room.
The master suite is up 6 steps from the rest of the house. You could live in this suite alone, with its’ spacious sleeping area (king bed) and adjacent office area with ample built-in cabinets and bookshelves!
And then, walk out to a large and very private balcony with a roof, ceiling fans, table and chairs. Even during a rainstorm, you will have comfort and privacy! The KIVA fireplace in the master suite will warm you throughout the year!
The main level of the house has a second bedroom with a queen bed and access to its own deck (mountain views) and a third full bedroom with another desk/office space. Here also are the main living areas: the living and dining rooms, a breakfast nook and kitchen.
All amenities are provided in the house, including high-speed wireless internet, cable TV, telephone, washer/dryer, and air conditioning, as well as garage and off-street parking. Don’t forget it has 3 baths.
Another very pleasant feature of Hacienda del Sol is its adjacent lovely walking areas; its proximity to the Plaza in just a 10-minute walk is definitely a plus! The surrounding dirt lanes provide for lovely short or long strolls. A block to the south finds you at Fort Marcy Park with its outdoor track and indoor pool, gym, and aerobic classes. From there it’s a very pleasant and short walk to the Plaza.

Why the Owner Chose North Hills
Having lived in Europe and Washington, DC, I wanted to settle in a sophisticated but slower/peaceful locale with nearby adventure possibilities - hence the southwest. Santa Fe provided all that I had hoped for, and with occasional forays abroad, I could not be happier.
The Unique Benefits at this HouseViews first of all. Sunny and spacious. Fantastic adjacent walks. Easy walk through the property to the Plaza. Wonderfully spacious and cozy king suite, with kiva fireplace, patio, large bath, walk-in closet and the magical views in two directions.

"Oldest Baby Boomer" with one foot in two generations, mother of a 19 year old - go figure!, writer, consultant and traveler extraordinaire. LOVE santa fe, but spend months abroad each year - Europe and Mexico, and soon (when the nest is finally empty) seeking more adventurous travel.
