  This property was perfect for our recent family get-away (8 adults and 2 children under 6). It's a beautiful, spacious home with plenty of room for us to be together, as well as room to disappear for a while to read or nap. Everything was in great condition. The kitchen was well equipped. The pool (perfect temperature!) and hot tub were big hits. The owner and property manager were friendly, helpful, and cooperative. We'll definitely rent this property again. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

  Every year, I book a house in Northern California for an annual get-together of friends in the area. We have had a lot of variety in the quality of houses. This Santa Cruz house was hands down the best house we had rented for our get-togethers. We especially liked the spacious great room on the upper floor which allowed us all to interact as a large group (13 people), while spreading out to do our own things. Also, the heated pool and hot tub were winners with the whole group. The house was very clean and well-maintained, and I had only positive comments from all the people who came.

  House was more awesome than pictures. Great separation of rooms. We had our 5 children and their spouses and our grandkids and we never felt cramped. Pool and Spa was wonderful and the Billiard table received lots of use by everyone. The owners and their assistants were very easy to work with did a very professional job. Looking to come back next year for a very relaxful time:)

  We recently rented Bella Vista for a special family vacation. The house was perfect...lots of room for everyone, comfortable beds, equipped with quality linens, towels, appliances, etc., wonderful kitchen and dining space, fantastic living room-- and totop it off, the amazing outdoor space with fantastic pool, hot tub and deck/patio. All that would have made the house a 5 star experience, but combine that with the location and view and hospitable owners---well, we already have our week booked for next year. Truly one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. Thank you for making your home available to us!

  This was our second visit to this 5-acre estate and I have already booked for my third visit. It is truly an amazing experience. The home is gorgeous. (Check out my review from last year.) As soon as I arrived this year, a beautiful deer came walking across the private parking area to welcome me. Sometimes we would see 10 deer a day, much to the delight of my 2-year-old grandson. We brought our bicycles this year and enjoyed biking around the neighborhood. For the more serious biker, Soquel Dr. at the bottom of the hill has a very popular bike lane. Belle Vista is located at the end of a private road. My grandson brought his electric riding tractor with trailer. He had a wonderful and safe time driving up and down the private road. In the back of the house is a beautiful pool with an Acapulco lounge. It is a great pool for swimming laps and for playtime for the little ones. The water temperature is a comfortable 89 degrees. The “Safe-T-Cover” keeps the kids safe and provides peace of mind for the adults. The spacious hot tub is a nice treat after swimming laps; kids love it too. The house is spacious, love the 5 king beds. The deck is huge and the kitchen is well equipped. Safeway is 2.7 miles, off Soquel Dr. The Anna Jean Cumming Park (Blue Ball Park) has great play structures for the kids on Old San Jose Rd., off of Soquel, 3.4 miles. The Steam Train ride at Roaring Camp in Felton and the Carousel at the Boardwalk are always favorites. We visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium, 39 miles away; the penguin feeding time is 10:30. The Crows Nest Restaurant located on Twin Lakes State Beach by the Harbor and lighthouse is my favorite lunch spot. I’m looking forward to my third visit. I love exploring the area, but my favorite thing to do is stretch out on the sofa with a good book. The ocean views from the sofa are truly amazing!

  There is no way to tell you how much we enjoyed your beautiful home. It was perfect for my family in every way. We only went out and about a few hours each day, because everyone liked being there so much. The pool and hot tub were at the center of our activities - what a great setup. Between that and the pool table and your surround sound TV we didn't need much else. Also the kitchen was a dream to work in - at least that is what my children said. I let them do the cooking and the grandchildren did the cleanup and I was just waited on. We all decided to not eat again until Christmas. It was the best Birthday and the best family get together ever! We LOVE your house!!! Thanks again for everything.

  Our family of 18 spent a wonderful two weeks in the Schwenne home. This is by far the best rental property I've ever stayed in. Absolutely everything was provided (with the exception of cabana boys!) and the property is beautiful. We had great weather and my grandchildren loved the Monterey Bay Aquarium, The Mystery Spot, The Santa Cruz Boardwalk (go on Monday or Tuesday evening and it is very affordable) the beach and of course, the pool. Property management was wonderful to work with. A very enjoyable experience for our family. We'll be back.

  Bella Vista is a wonderful, safe place for families to relax and get away from it all. We took our 19-month-old grandson and he had the best time playing on the huge deck. He could stand on the deck and watch the deer feeding below. He enjoyed picking an orange off the orange tree every morning for breakfast. My daughter likes to jog and she found the area to be very safe for jogging early in the morning. She made use of the exercise equipment too. I appreciated the “Safe-T-Cover” on the huge pool. I didn’t have to worry about my grandson drowning. The pool water was a warm 87 degrees; a swim in the morning was a great way to start the day. The sound from the fountains/waterfalls was so relaxing. We would open up the front door (which has the coolest screen I have ever seen) and back door and let the breeze blow through. We could see the sailboats out in the bay. Several in our party were taking online classes and the free Wi-Fi never failed them during their tests. Crystal (their daughter) met us at the house and gave us a wonderful tour of the home when we arrived. Everything was as listed. The place looks even better in person than in the pictures. We especially loved the 5 king size beds, no fighting over beds this trip. The home is close to Roaring Camp, Mt. Herman, Mission Springs, the Boardwalk, wonderful restaurants and great beaches. I can’t wait to return.

  We had such a great time during our stay at Bella Vista. The house was beautiful, comfortable, spacious, the beds were great and plenty of space. We spent a lot of time in the pool and relaxing by the pool, and BBQ's Our family can't wait to come back and spend more time at this wonderful home. Everything was perfect! Loved the views and plenty of parking.

  This is the ultimate choice of a vacation home especially for large family gatherings. In the past, we have normally rented beach homes for our family outings, but after this experience, it is doubtful we will look anywhere else again. The home is exactly as it is described. It is the perfect balance of a elegant, beautiful estate, but feels very intimate. We loved how personal the home felt to be in. Not only is it a beautiful home, but it radiates a great spirit of family and togetherness. We had all kinds of plans related to the beach, but everyone loved the home, the pool and the view so much that we never wanted to leave the house so we really didn't. And with 10 adults and 4 children, the house is so spacious we never felt on top of each other. Trish and Crystal are amazing. Crystal gave us a thorough tour making sure we felt comfortable in how to work everything and mad esure we knew we could call if we needed anything and Trish called partway through to make sure we were good. Our deposit was returned in less than two days after our visit which was incredible. Everything about this experience was first rate and quality. We also appreciate how easily the atmosphere of your home and your sweet personalities made us feel comfortable to feed 4 children (and some adults!) in the dining area on your gorgeous light colored carpeting without worrying about it all of the time we were there. It was also a wonderful surprised to have so many pool/beach towels available for use. Thank you for sharing your lovely home. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. We look forward to future visits.
