  We stayed for four nights recently (January). View is beautiful, but we never got to use the Lanai due to heavy winds during our stay. Bed is very comfortable, though sheets could be better. Shower has great water flow, though shower curtain was mildewed and tub is VERY slippery - maybe worse with mat. That and broken toaster are only complaints and those are minor. Mostly, a quite nice and convenient location and decent value. It was clean overall. I would recommend it.

  Recommended for: Age 55+.

  Owner response: We very much appreciate Guest inputs. We have just started with a new Caretaker and Cleaner of our home away from home and are quickly bringing them up to speed. A new toaster, shower curtain, and tub/shower mat have just been installed. We strive to continuously make our accommodations first rate. Thank you.

  We loved the lanai furniture, it was beautiful and much better than many of the lanai's around it. Parking was good and laundry facilities are close by and accessible. Condo was clean but we were surprised that basic amenities were severely lacking. Toilet paper, dish soap, bathroom soap, garbage bags and paper towel were not lacking and some had to be purchased. Bed was very comfortable and slept good. However there are two remote controls in the bedroom and neither of them worked on the TV in the bedroom. We even purchased new batteries and still couldn't get it to work properly on the TV, whereas the TV in the living room worked fine. Remember to look at the floorplan carefully if you have more two people staying here as the bathroom is attached to the master bedroom only. Overall we were pleased with our stay here and found the staff in the main entryway helpful as well.

  We arrived at the condo with exceptional directions from Bill that explained everything in detail. The condo was very clean and had such an amazing view of the ocean and the community area. We were so impressed with everything in the condo. We plan to rent the condo again the next time we return to Maui and have recommended to our friends for the views and the reasonable pricing. It was an amazing stay!

  We love Maui and visited many times. This unit is in a great location close to shops and restaurants. There were some unfortunate experience we'd like to share. First, the bathroom itself had a bad odor and the sink was clogged. The maintenance company spent 5 hours fixing it and our kids couldn't use shower during that time after coming up from the pool. Second, the futon was missing a blanket in which Bill told us to go ahead and buy for reimbursement. Third, we arrived late (11pm) and could not find a way to enter the building since the lobby was closed. The owner failed to mention that we could enter the building around the side, saving us the hassle of calling the number posted on the lobby door. We understand the "issues" that could arise as we have a rental ourselves in Lake Tahoe. But the owner refuses to compensate us for all the hassle during maintenance of the bathroom sink as well as the time and trouble of shopping for a blanket during a vacation. We were disappointed in the treatment from the owner to say the least.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car.

  Owner response: We appreciate this Guest's feedback and their business. We were also pleased that the guest was able to take advantage of a stellar reduced price for their last minute booking. Being off island, we do our best to ensure that the our on site representatives do their absolute best to ensure that our unit is always clean, stocked, and ready. The cleaning company did error in that we had a clogged bath sink, and a blanket went missing. The Plumber corrected the clogged sink the next day, and we reimbursed the guest for a blanket of their choosing. The Guest review is very disappointing and surprising in that it was our understanding that we met and/or respnded to their needs immediately. But irrespective, we will continue to strive to make all of our Guests' experiences first rate. That plus, virtually all of our other reviews have been extremely positive, and we apologize for this unfortunate event. Aloha.

  My husband & I really enjoyed our stay at this condo! It was just as listed & the location on the grounds lent to beautiful views from the balcony! If we could ever make it back, we would definitely stay here again.

  We loved our stay in Maui, cant wait to visit again. The conda was very comfortable and homey.Had everything we needed. Lots of nice place to eat( we loved Antonios Italian just near Longs drug stoe). We have Aussie friends visiting later in the year and have recommended this place. My husband did lots of windsurfing mainly at Sprecksville, my son and I enjoyed the pool, I did lots of walks. The bus system is really good. Thanks, we'll be back.

  We had a good stay and the property was in a good location . However there are a few comments we have to leave. The ant traps did not seem to do the job as we found out over 2 weeks.However these are harmless and very small. The Living room chair has seen better days (not too comfortable). The sliding glass doors are very hard to operate and our arrangement to have them fixed did not happen.Be aware that there are no spices . Overall it was a good experience for the rental fee .

  Recommended for: Sightseeing.

It was disappointing to receive our first 4 star rating, where all previous stays have been 5 stars over many years, but the feedback is most welcome as it helps us to stay on top of our hired management company in Maui, in addition to our 2 hands on inspections per year coming from California. With respect to specifics, the pest control company has remedied the ants, the sliding door repairs are in process, and we concede that it is time to replace our beloved rocking chair with a new Hawaiian style one upon our return in February.   We really enjoyed our stay. It was so nice to have a home base to come back to every evening. We were pleased to find the toddler life vest in the closet, it was well used by our non-swimming 5 year old who happily splashed in the waves. We brought an inflatable toddler bed with us for our little one and placed it on the floor in the bedroom, which worked very well. The umbrellas and beach towels were greatly appreciated also. The fully equipped kitchen was perfect, many meals were prepared and enjoyed on the lanai and ktichen table. The grounds are wonderfully maintained and everyone was friendly and helpful. The on-site concierge, Karen, was great!! She arranged a wonderful snorkel trip for us and our family, who were staying down the street. The BBQ's and pool area are great. Thank you so much for sharing your piece of paradise with us. Aloha and Mahalo!!!

  My husband and I stayed in this great unit, which was located perfectly for views of ocean and the pool area. The bed was the best we ever slept in. The condo is very comfortable, nicely decorated, and has a very open and spacious feel. I highly recommend this unit to anyone wanting to make their Hawaiian vacation a complete experience.

  Thank you Bill & Debra for such a wonderful setting to enjoy Maui. Everything in the condo was just as pictured and better than our expectations...perfect for two! The condo was very clean and the whole grounds are maintained to perfection! Bill was great in helping me to book the condo and we will definitely be staying in room #328 in the future and have already recommended this condo unit to friends and family! Staying Kihei is perfect for getting around the island....far enough away from the touristy resorts, but a close enough drive to enjoy all that Maui has to offer....from the road to Hana, to hike to thru a bamboo forest to see the 400' waterfall, to driving the winding road around the north top of the island, don't miss the blowhole! Amazing! If you are up near the Whaler's Village, don't miss the Hula Grill..sit out on the "barefoot" patio, right on the sand and enjoy the entertainment! It was a perfect get away for my husband and I and we are already trying to figure out when we can go back! Thanks again Bill and Debra!
