This 3000 square foot home has everything you will need to make your OBX vacation memorable. With unencumbered views of Pamlico Sound and wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean, you will be able to watch the sunrise and sunset, all from the front balcony. In 2008, Conscience Point moved into a totally different league from other rental houses. We now have our own private 45' x 25' multi-purpose sport court with two basketball goals, a net for volleyball, badminton and paddle tennis, and a 4' high hoop for the little ones. In 2010, we added a unique putting green with three challenging holes and two fringe areas for realistic play.
Inside you will find a new large wide screen HDTV with Blu-Ray DVD player. On the first floor, we have added two arcade style video games including a Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga combo unit and a 125 game console. With bamboo floors, surround sound, wireless Internet access, a heated pool, a spa, a pool table, PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Wii and cable TV in every bedroom, you will be in your own private heaven. In 2011, we are totally renovating our kids' room in a Toy Story theme. This room will have a great bunk bed with built-in stairs and images of Buzz, Woody, Jessie and all of your Toy Story friends scattered about the room.

It is a perfect enclosed play area for kids and adults. We have also just added a great putting green, affectionately named "Conscience Course." Why the Owner Chose Rodanthe
The Outer Banks has provided us with a lifetime of memories. In our opinion, the Outer Banks offers a mixture of history and fun that is unrivaled in the United States. The fact that the location has traditionally been difficult to get to (though much less difficult these days) adds to its allure. With all of the major lighthouses along the Outer Banks soon to be open to climbing, the area provides a look back into the 1800s while maintaining a modern seaside feel.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We have made every effort to make Conscience Point an escape unto itself. Our goal was to put amenities in the house and on the property that most people do not have at their homes. What good is a vacation home if it has all of the same things you have at home? Hence, the sport court and putting green. Some people have a hard time believing that this is not a resort open to multiple families. Be rest assured, the court, the putting green, the pool and the hot tub are all for the exclusive use of Conscience Point guests and are all part of this one amazing rental property.

We had a great time at Conscience Point with our family. The house was beautiful, well maintained and well stocked. There were lots of fun things for the kids to do like the pool, mini-golf, basketball court, indoor pool table and arcade games. The living room, kitchen and dining area were a great place to spend time and very amenable to large groups. There are multiple deck spaces with views to the ocean and bay. The beach is a short walk away with miles and miles of sand and surf.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We recently had the pleasure of reuniting with some members of our family for a week at Conscience Point and could not have enjoyed ourselves more! What a magical place this was for us to reconnect with our family who lives in three different states! With six adults and three children in the house there was so much room that everyone could really spread out and feel quite comfortable. Not only is the house spacious, but it is beautifully appointed and well cared for. From the moment we stepped inside we knew we were in for a treat and Conscience Point certainly did not disappoint! The overall atmosphere just calls out to you to simplify, relax and enjoy - and that we did. As far as what the area has to offer, we must admit that we did more relaxing than anything else. (Nothing wrong with that, we say!) Although the younger members of our family took advantage of visiting some local places of interest, the two of us were quite content to simply relax by the pool or just sit out on the upper deck and as they say, “Watch the clouds roll by.” One day, the girls visited Spa Koru for massages, leaving the men at the house to watch the little ones. The spa turned out to be a wonderful spot and the experience greatly enhanced our feelings relaxation… if that were possible! It was a fabulous way for the girls to have a little time away from their duties of motherhood. (If your men are game, the ladies of our family highly recommend this to all future guests!) The house has so much for everyone to do that you really don’t have to venture far for entertainment. The kids loved the pool, the basketball court, the putting green, the video games and the Wii system! We so appreciate how much thought and effort the Wilsons have put into making their house such a special place for the entire family that discussions have already begun in planning our return to Conscience Point next year! Without hesitation we highly recommend the Wilson’s house and this location to anyone searching for the perfect getaway!
