  Just returned from a girl's weekend in this house and it was so much fun. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook fabulous meals and it is so spacious. There were seven of us and we were able to all sit around the table and never felt crowded. We took lots of walks on the beach and it was so close being only about half a short block up. Our little dog also liked his walks down to the beach and the ramp going down the side of the house made it so much easier to maneuver. Gametime and movietime were also lots of fun with the awesome round table and the big tv with comfy chairs and sofa to snuggle up in. Great house for a family with kids. There are gates that can be locked at both openings to the terrific deck with the beautiful views of the gulf. Since it was rather chilly, we sat on the cozy sofa inside and still had a view of the beach in two directions. We were here during Mardi Gras weekend and the neighborhood was so quiet and we felt like we were the only ones at the beach this weekend! We didn't go to any restaurants or shopping but having been to Galveston before, I know both are plentiful. I'm already gathering another group of friends to go down for a weekend this spring and the family to take a trip this summer. You won't be disappointed if you rent this one. A big thanks to the owners for everything. You were great to work with.

  This was a family vacation for myself (my 6 year old), my sister (her 11,8,4 year olds), and my mother. This house was perfect for us. We were able to walk to the beach, where we left our chairs and shade up for the time we were there. We played on the beach, we "ghost" crabbed in the evening, and loved every minute we were in this house. The outdoor shower was perfect!! I want one at home for the mud my child gets into! The blue chairs on the deck were perfect for this avid reader and and the TV's with DVR were perfect for recording a few kids shows for them to watch while resting up for the next fun!! The beds were fabulous, clean and comfy!! The kitchen was perfect for us. The kids had the bar while the mom's took the table. What a great thing to have the washer and dryer, nothing like throwing in a load of towels and swimsuits to be ready for the next day at the beach!! The kids LOVED having a "box" full of toys to use, nothing like having some NEW things to go through!! I would recommend this home to anyone, it was WONDERFUL!!!

  This was a pretty nice house. We only had a couple of issues. The wireless internet did not work so I could not use my Ipad, it took us a while to find the key to get in to the house, and the deposit was a little late according to the 30 days listed in the contract. A couple of times I had trouble getting a hold of the owner when I tried calling or e-mailing and never got a response back. One really nice thing about the house was the deck. It also seemed to have most everything we needed.

  Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  What a perfect beach house! Loved the decorating and it was set up perfectly for out 7 month old twins. The location was perfect and out goal is now same time next year.
