Fully furnished & recently renovated, this home has a Open Living Top Level with Stunning Views, Dining Area which seats 8 comfortably & has Sliders to two Decks & Screened Porch, Large Living room w/Soaring Skylight Ceilings, NEW Flat Screen TV, Gaming System, DVD Player, Air Hockey Table and Wireless Hi-Speed Internet!! The Kitchen has a Breakfast Bar, Stove, Microwave, Dishwasher & Full Size Refrigerator. There are 4 Bedrooms on the 1st Floor: Two Queen Bedrooms that share a Full Bath Between, a 3rd Bedroom with a Double Bed & 4th Bedroom with Twin Beds that share a Full Bath located in the Hallway. Over sized Outdoor Private Hot Shower to rinse off after a day at the beach. Grill outside. Full Size Washer & Dryer also!
Come & enjoy my beautiful home & this serene location for your next vacation! The sunrise is absolutely breath taking. The calm in the morning is second to none. Get a cup of "Joe" and watch the sun rise! Or get a good book from the bookcase and relax and read. Maybe you want to make a puzzle as a family activity. We have that too ! Relaxation is the 'name of the game' here. Enjoy a good movie, or get on the internet. If cocktail hour is your enjoyment, go up to the 'crow's nest' and imbibe in a cold refreshing 'mood adjuster'. Our family is now safely back in Ohio and we are going through some serious OBX beach withdrawl! We had such a wonderful time staying in your beach home - everything was perfect! Your phone call to ensure our safe arrival and satisfaction, along with the conscierge service's excellent communication and service helped to make our week even better than we had hoped! The house was clean and bright with a perfect view of the waves crashing onto the beach. Our location in Avon also couldn't have been better as we supported the local economy and made many trips to the local Food Lion! I planned this trip last winter as a way for our family to re-connect after my husband's deployment to Iraq and it truly afforded us the opportunity to spend quality time together and make some unforgettable memories! Thank you for all of your help, information and of course, for the beach house - it was amazing!

We (my wife, kids ages 10 and 12 and I) stayed at Airwaves mid June 2011 and had a terrific time. The weather was great. We spent the week on the beach, and sailing lasers and windsurfing at Canadian Hole on the sound side. We also rented jet skis at Ocean Air in Avon and took a morning fishing charter with the Albatros Fleet out of Hatteras Village. Getting to the beach from Airwaves is a breeze - just a short walk down a shared path way that few others use. The Canadian Hole sailing location is a 2 mile drive, and there are many other places to launch windsurfing gear throughout the area. There are several windsurfing rental locations in Avon (daily or weekly) Shopping and resturants are easy to get to, and the Avon/Kinnakeet area is a little more remote and low key that what I observed further north in and around Nags Head for example. The house was comfortable and well equiped. Laundry facilities and internet access were particularly useful for my family. The panoramic views and ocean facing decks were a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee or read a book. Overall everything was perfect for us so I rated excellent. Everything you need is there at Airwaves or a very short distance away, the facilities overall are practical and appropriate for a beach rental. Not extravagant but a great value and the location and views are fabulous. We hope to make it back some time soon! The Damm Family, June 2011.

My wife, mother in law, and kids and I stayed here last year, and we were very well taken care of by the owner (Bob). The only thing between you and the beach is a sand dune. House is well kept and there was plenty of room for everyone. Big open top floor with full kitchen and a very nice deck ! The view is gorgeous from there. Very peaceful and a very nice section of the beach, which we hit twice a day since it is so close. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Owner was very professional and attentive too.

Just like home, this vacation get away has everything you may need to prepare a huge family meal or romantic dinner for two. With awe inspiring panoramic views, the sunrise and sunsets are breathtaking. Morning coffee from the Crow's Nest is a great way to start your day. Conveniently located, you are not far from shopping, other towns or the Cape Hatteras Ferry. A great place to to relax & recharge!

My wife and I stayed here for the week for our honeymoon in early June, and it was marvelous! The views, the unexpected privacy for a home so properly exposed to the natural elements, and the proximity to so much really made it an awesome experience. My only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer!

This vacation house is so lovely!! My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and would most definately recommend it to others. The views are beautiful with the beach and ocean just steps away from the house. The living area is great for hanging out and the multiple decks are perfect for relaxing and taking in the scenery. The home is very close to the grocery store and other ammenities which is always a plus! Thanks for a wonderful experience filled with many great memories. Highly recommened!

I spent my honeymoon at this rental home in June 2005, and came back 3 years later (May 2008) w/my husband and 1 year old daughter, and some friends. The house/location is perfect for a quiet, low-key, romantic get away, and also big enough for a fun, activity filled family vacation! The house is extremely comfortable & spacious, and super close to the beach. The beach is clean with soft sand - perfect!

Extremely well kept, everything that was promised. Peace and quiet but close enough to conveniences. Not crowded like the upper OBX area. Good value for the rental cost. I would recommend and I would go back!

We retreated to this spectacular house for our Honeymoon in September of 2008 & we not disappointed! The house was very spacious & the views of the ocean & beach were amazing! Located close to restaurants & just a short drive to the famous lighthouse, bay area (where we watched the kite surfers) & shopping... this home was a great get-away! We recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation with a great beach!
