Beautiful Barn located less than five minutes from Stratton & less than 15 minutes from Bromley. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac with nothing but forest beyond. The 'Wee Ski Barn' has everything you will need for a fantastic family vacation. Enter to a large mudroom with plenty of ski & jacket storage. The bedrooms are on the ground floor off the mudroom with two full bathrooms & the washer & dryer.
Leave your boots in the mudroom & go upstairs to the beautiful great-room with post & beam construction vaulted ceilings. The great room features a large arch window with a view of Stratton Mountain & a huge stone fireplace. There is a docking station for your IPod & a wall mounted flat screen TV with built in DVD player. There is also an X-BOX 360 Kinect. There is plenty of comfortable seating for everyone to relax around the fire place. The dinning area comfortably seats 10 at a large wood table with two long benches. The Kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances and is fully equipped including a waffle iron, grill, coffee maker, tea kettle, hot chocolate maker & slow cooker.
The Master bedroom has a queen size bed and en suite bathroom with tub & shower. The master bathroom also has a radient heat slate & river stone floor. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and a single bed. The third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds & one single bed. The sleeping loft has a queen size bed. Ample, large, fluffy bath towels are provided and the bed linens on all beds are 100% cotton, flannel sheets.
There is plenty of firewood supplied and a property manager who will take care of all of the plowing, shoveling & garbage removal.
There are also hiking/snow-shoeing trails in the woods surrounding the house.

Had the most wonderful time with my family and another family that joined us. Everything was as described, if not better. This is not your average rental. The owners obviously take great pride in their ski home & it shows. The kitchen was so well equipped, including extra virgin olive oil left for us to use! The beds & linens were very comfortable and the towels were actually big enough to dry yourself with! We all had enjoyed ourselves immensely & will definitely stay here again the next time we ski.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers.

About the owner: My husband & I have been married for 15 years & live in Connecticut with our two children, a boy(11) & a girl(9). Our son and daughter started skiing a few years ago, when he was 5 years old and she was 3 years old. They both love it! Although I had skied once or twice before I really only started skiing when they did - & now I love it too!
Why the Owner Chose Winhall:
The decision to purchase this property was an easy one - as soon as we walked in the door I knew it was the ski house for us. It has a warm cozy feel to it & I knew it was the place where we would spend many happy weekends with family and friends, enjoying all that Vermont has to offer.
