Wake up to beautiful mountain views at this lakefront home. A true year round property, this home can be enjoyed in any season. In winter you can snowtube and ski at nearby Sapphire Valley. In spring, you can hike, mountain climb and camp at nearby Gorges State Park. In the summer the lake is perfect for a swim or a boat ride. Boats can be rented from the nearby Toxaway Marina, along with tubes so you can have a ball on the water! In the fall there are the beautiful colors of the mountains, the crisp fall air and the warmth of a fire to relax you. There are four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The first floor bedroom off the kitchen has a queen bed with a twin trundle underneath ,with attached bath. The master bedroom has a king size bed, private bath and private deck overlooking the lake and woods. The upstairs loft area has two queen beds and a seating area with sofa and TV. This room also has its own bathroom.In the basement, which has sliding doors that open to the yard and dock(25'from house),has a sleeper sofa and bunk beds with its own bath. this area also has a mini fridge and sink for easy access to beverages when outside.

What a fun and amazing place. The accommodations were without fault and the region is full of interesting history and great places to eat (20 minute drive), golf and shop(Brevard and Cashiers) our family of 3 adult couples relaxed and enjoyed it all. This is truly a best kept secret.. I would reccommend Gamekeepers Tavern where it appears the elite meet and Cornucopia for more casual dining.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

One step into the house and we werre delighted! Four rooms for us grandparents, parents, and the kids and baby to be spread out! Morining coffee and reading was so peaceful. The house had all the comforts we could ask for. The lake view is gorgeous. We loved being right on the lake level and so close. Thanks for the canoe, it was our morning and evening relaxation therapy! The home was just like advertised; no surprises-except the real thing is better than the photos. This home is definitely a winner! And, we recommend The Brown Trout restaurant nearby. We can't wait to return next year and catch some of the local things we did not have time for.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, adventure seekers.
