This one-of-a-kind tongue and groove cabin offers a cathedral ceiling with exposed beams, all wood floors, an abundance of windows, and an inviting wrap-around deck with phenomenal views.
The family area has a flat screen/DVD as well as a foos ball table. Also, there are 2 sleeper sofas as well. The 5 STAR CABIN also features a well equipped kitchen with all the ammenities and a stackable washer/dryer, as well as jettet tub.
The MASTER SUITE has a king-size master bed with flat screen TV/DVD.
The dining area has an elegant table with comfortable seating for six in all wood comfort.
THE BONUS AREA was recently added. It has bunk beds and a comfortable sofa, a third flat screen/DVD as well as PAC MAN and other video games.

Ripley's Believe It or Not, Guinness World Records, Hollywood Wax, and the Star Cars Museum. We stayed in this cabin in May, 2011. It is a nice cabin, not elegant or 5 star, but nice. The problem was that is was not clean at all. The inside needed a good cleaning but not nearly as much as the outside. My husband used the water hose to try to clean the porch and rockers so we could enjoy the pretty view. The pretty, huge windows on the deck were covered in dust and cobwebs. The chairs were dirty. The hot tub was not clean, either. We would have never used it! My 11 year old daughter was disappointed that there were no fish even biting in the pond. The overall cabin, yard and dock needed a good cleaning. Please know that we travel a lot and use this sight for most of our reservations. I have never left a negative review. I know some people just can't be pleased but I am not one of them. We have found many nice condos and cabins at HomeAway.com but not on this stay. If it had been cleaned up, it would have been nice. Sorry but won't be staying here again. (I contacted the owner and have yet to hear from them. I contacted them not to complain but to let them know because they live in another state and, I guess, they depend on a cleaning service to do the work around there. I wanted them to know it is NOT getting done).

My husband & I stayed the weekend here & we loved it to say the least! We had friends staying in the area also so they came & enjoyed the pool table & hot tub with us. Thanks for sharing your wonderful cabin with us! We really enjoyed it.

We just returned from Gone Fishing. The listing description was accurate , although bigger than we thought. Photos didn't show the full beautiful view of the pond as well as the tall ceilings. Kitchen and dining as well as living room areas were much larger than pics. The cabin was spotless. We are coming back, but with our fishing poles. HIGHLY RECOMMEND GONE FISHIN!!!

Gone Fishin IS a beautiful cabin. The location was perfect between Gatilinbrug and Pigeon Forge. Pictures do not do this cabin justice. IT is quite spacious and we had plenty of room. It has a very rustic look and the deck was goreous. We went fishin and my son, he is 4 , caught fish for the time. The fireplace and flat screen were perfect and the kitchen/dining area was quite spacious. The cabin was quite clean and many of the amenities appeared new. Oma was great and answered all of questions, quickly. Very easy to work with. We plan on returning to GONE FISHIN.....a little slice of HEAVEN.

We just got back from a 4 day stay at Gone Fishing. This was a lovely, new cabin with plenty of room. My boyfriend and I loved the fishing, there is a well stocked pond with a dock right down from the cabin. The listing was accurate regarding location, it was less than 5 minutes from the Parkway, so going to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge was very convenient. The photos were accurate, but the cabin was much bigger, it had tall ceilings with large windows. The property was clean and well maintained. It was nice to have a dining area as well as living room sofa space for 6 because some of our friends stopped by who were staying at a cabin (by a rental company). They loved our place and especially the fishing. The cabin was secluded, so the hot tub was perfect. I strongly recommend Gone Fishing

The cabin is very lovely & the pond is a nice feature. The pond does have fish in it if you want to fish! It doesn't have a view other than the pon but its nestled in the woods & is still convenient to both Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge. The cabin had everything that we needed, minus the food, and we ended up spending most of the weekend enjoying it rather than visiting alot of local attractions. The owner is very helpful with everything. We hope to return soon!!
