We are located in Oceanside Village, a private, gated community in Surfside Beach. We are about 200-250 yards from the beach. Pets allowed with prior approval. No smoking. All the basic kitchen/household items you need are provided (includes linens). Sleeps six to ten; master bedroom - queen-size bed; second bedroom - twin beds; third bedroom - bunk beds and double futon; also queen-size sleeper sofa in living room.
Our home is a short walk to the beach, an oceanfront restaurant, a heated indoor pool and outdoor pool, and other outdoor activities such as tennis, beach volleyball, boche court, softball, basketball, fishing, and a playground for the children... all located on site!!! Golf cart rentals are available to help you have easy access to all the on-site amenities and park right at the beach.
And of course, if you are a golfer, there are a myriad of great golf courses in the area to choose from... including a lighted, par three, golf course, driving range, and lighted executive course right across the street from Oceanside Village!!!
If you are looking for "things to do and places to go" all the action of the "Grand Strand Area" is just minutes away.
Our home can be your "home-away-from-home" with everything you need for a great week - whether your dream vacation is quiet, relaxing days at the beach... or days of being on the go.

Labour Day to Mar 31 .... $450/week (additional weeks $200).
Labour Day to Mar 31 .... $100/night (three-night minimum).
Rates do not include 12% State Accommodation and Sales taxes.
Security Deposit of $150 also acts to hold reservation.

Cathie and I (not in the photo, because I always seem to be taking the pictures) own Tranquility along with our children, Andrew, Danny, Jacob and Katie and dog Buzbi. We are both school teachers (Cathie early childhood and myself secondary school) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We try to keep our unit rented through low rates to help carry our mortgage - this is not a profit making venture by any stretch of the imagination.
Why the Owner Chose Oceanside Village
We first started coming to Myrtle Beach in the early 1990s after getting married. My wife had great memories from her childhood. We enjoyed the variety of amenities (beach, golf, minigolf, shopping, entertainment) that the area offered, and after staying several times in the community of Oceanside Village decided that we would like to own a home in the community. Lots to do and lots of friendly people. The kids have a ball at the beach, my wife loves the shopping and I love to golf - a great destination that makes everyone happy.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We chose Oceanside Village because of the many features that make it a convenient place to stay. We are only a 5 minute walk to the beach, and private beach parking is offered to Oceanside Village residents and guests. We are around the corner from the community's indoor pool, tennis courts, boche courts, basketball courts, playing field and playground. Easy for our kids to play in a safe and fun environment.

Thanks for the comments Dave. We don't like those windows either and believe it or not, the replacement windows are sitting in the shed - scheduled to be replaced next week.
