This beautiful two story home offers lake views from almost every window. There is a big lakeview deck across the back of the house. There is a hot tub on the deck as well as tables, chairs, chaise lounges and heat lamp. There is level, easy access and a six car parking pad. The lawn in the backyard offers fabulous views of the lake, making it ideal for small weddings.
Grab your towel for a short walk to a private homeowners sandy beach along with two piers, BBQ's, lawn, ping pong and swimming platforms. We also have a backyard firepit for roasting marshmellows and hot dogs. Spacious lawn for playing.
Buoy available for rent.
Ski enthusiasts will enjoy a short drive to the major ski areas. The Homewood Ski Resort is only five blocks away and access to Alpine Meadows is only three miles away. Cross country skiing trails are nearby.
Trails for hiking, mountain biking and regular biking are a short distance from the house.

Why the Owner Chose Homewood
We have rented and stayed in many locations around the lake for the past 30 years and we know the West Shore is the best shore. The area is beautiful and quiet. The lake is always quiet on our McKinney Bay as the prevailing winds are always from the West. It is the best side of the lake for water skiing and boating.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The view is great and when you are on our deck you feel like the lake is right there.It is a very short walk to the lake down our little walk to the lake.
It is a short walk into the little town of Homewood to have a great meal at the local restaurant or a latte at the market.
Wonderful lake view. The road is @ 100 feet below the property and you cannot see it from the house.
This is only a short distance from the house and with a sandy beach for the kids to play and a great pier for the kids to swim out to the floating platform. A grassy area for picnics with a great BBQ.
This is a neat old boathouse on the water with a lot of boat tie ups, a bar with some fast food and a great beach, both private and public. Also, a very nice restaurant.

For the past 25 years my family and I have rented various houses in the Chambers neighborhood. This property is now number one on our list. The layout of the house and the views keep us coming back. The deck and yard are spectacular. Where do you find a house with a level lawn, great for bocci ball and badmitten. The owners couldn't be nicer, I highly recommend it!!

When my husband and I were choosing a place to get married, we were lucky enough to find this gem on Lake Tahoe. The backyard was perfect for our small outdoor wedding. We weren't expecting snow in May, but mother nature had other plans. However, the day of the ceremony was gorgeous and the backdrop of the lake is unbeatable. The house itself was very comfortable. Everything that we needed was there. I only wish it could have lasted longer. I can honestly say it was one of the best days of my life! We went to the beautiful Sunnyside Inn for dinner/reception after the ceremony; what a great place to dine and celebrate our marriage. I would definately recommend this beautiful vacation rental to anyone. Honestly, the pictures don't it place justice!
