Perfect for entire family
Perfect for entire family
18 family members, ages 7 months to 65 years, cycled in and out over a two week period. The location was great--beach path out front, coffee shops, stores, restaurants, bars perfect for short walks and "getaways". The great room (pictures of kitchen, dining table and TV sitting area) was huge providing play space, relaxation and a place for everyone at the table. The kitchen was stocked 'Over the top'. Only because of cold mornings and a family birthday did we even notice a griddle and hand mixer would have been nice. Nothing else was needed even though we were cooking for a crowd! Plenty of sand toys, linens, baby furniture, new grill, starter cleaning supplies. With warmer weather, we would need to pack only swimsuits, beach towels, shorts and tee shirts. Pair a wonderful house and a slow pace, uncrowded community, this really was a dream! Thanks Elizabeth and the staff at Rivard!

Manager response: Thank for the positive feedback! It's so nice to know we are meeting our goal of providing you with a dream experience! My only wish is that you could have located the hand mixer in one of the kitchen drawers. Later this month during my own stay, I'll add a griddle.
Grayton Dream is an ideal location for relaxing and fun filled days at the beach. The house itself is perfect for gatherings of family and friends. There are plenty of beds and bathrooms and lots of open space for lounging, playing games, eating meals, etc. The kitchen is very well stocked, the house well maintained and the decor of the whole house is "beachy" and playful and very inviting. The porch and upper deck provide more than ample room for many people and are wonderful spots for relaxing, and especially for viewing the gorgeous sunsets. The panoramic views of ocean and sand dunes from the first floor living area and the decks are simply breathtaking. Grayton Beach is a quaint little town and one of the oldest communities in the area. There are several restaurants within walking distance and many others a short drive away. The other beach communities along Highway 30A are close by and worth exploring too, although once I plant my feet in that wonderful white sand just a short walk from Grayton Dream, I have trouble going anywhere else.

This beach house, appropriately named "Grayton Dreams," is situated in Grayton Beach, Florida, overlooking one of the finest, if not the finest beach in the United States. This our third time staying at "Grayton Dreams," and we look forward to many more visits in the future. The property is accurately depicted in the accompanying photograph, and is beautifully maintained. It is well-provisioned with all the amenities of home. One could cook every night if so inclined, but then you would be missing some very fine restaurants scattered up and down beach highway 30A. The Red Bar in Grayton Beach can't be beat for a terrific breakfast (lunch and dinners as well), and we've enjoyed fine cuisine at Smiling Fish, Basmati, and others that entice one out for dinner. "Grayton Dreams" is directly across the street from not only the Gulf waters, but also from a Florida duneland state park. Biking, running, walking the beach, and snorkeling are all activities we engage in, and treasure. The famous Seaside development is an easy beachwalk (or bike ride) away, and fishing and kayaking are all available. The owner was terrific to deal with, and of all the properties available in this area, I can't think of any that possess what "Grayton Dreams" uniquely offers: wonderful accommodations, great owner, best views of ocean, beach, and dunes from both the second and third floor outdoor decks to celebrate the gorgeous Gulf sunsets, as well as beach entrance fifteen feet away. This place has it all (and we have recommended it to friends and family alike) !

A Real Dream
A Real Dream
"Grayton Dream" is everything it promises to be! The views across the dunes to the ocean are breathtaking. Every night we sat on the top deck and saw the most incredible sunsets. The house is very well equipped, especially the kitchen which was great for us because we love to cook at home. You don't need shoes as the entrance to the most beautiful quiet beach in the world is just across the road. The sand is white and the water crystal clear. Just up the road you can rent bikes and ride into Seaside and Watercolor and see more action, with great places to eat, drink and shop. Ride through the back roads and bike paths of Watercolor and see beautiful water lilies, gardens and unique houses. I've stayed at "Grayton Dream" 4 or 5 times and would do it again in a heartbeat:)

A little slice of heaven
A little slice of heaven
Like many others, I am a repeat visitor to Grayton Dreams. The location is ideal, the sunsets are spectacular and the house is very comfortable for our group. This house is across from the beach access at the state park. I can lay in either of the upstairs bedrooms, look out at the dunes and the ocean and hear the surf. There is nothing finer than cocktails on the upper deck to watch the sunset followed by a wonderful dinner with friends. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the nearby restaurants are walkable and fabulous. This house is across from the beach access at the state park. I can lay in either of the upstairs bedrooms, look out at the dunes and the ocean and hear the surf. It does not get any better than this!
