This attractive, south facing, brand new 2 bedroom garden apartment is surrounded by delightful woodlands with valley views. It is located in a quiet, small, upscale complex, recently completed, in the center of Grimaud, one of the most beautiful medieval perched villages in France, with spectacular views of the Gulf of St Tropez, the Maures forest and the Mediterranean sea.
The apartment has a covered patio for al fresco dining with BBQ, a lovely private garden terrace and a very well equipped kitchen. Good broadband internet, Wifi, TV, with some UK and US channels). Free international telephone calls to land lines is a plus. It is ideally located, close to St. Tropez and local beaches, small Provencal villages with their quaint markets, in addition to being close enough to Cannes, Nice and Monaco as a base to explore all the highlights of the French Riviera.
Accommodations consist of 2 separate bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms. The Grey room has a queen size bed, the Red room can be either a King or made up as 2 separate beds, (useful for children). Very comfortable, new matresses. 2 separate WCs.
Clients have included families with small children or teenagers, who can stroll around the village safely on their own and go to the great beaches every day, retired couples looking to explore the beautiful villages, and back country, young singles who enjoy all the glamour of St. Tropez beaches by day, and glitzy parties till early morning, and couples or friends, just looking to unwind from busy work life, by relaxing on the terrace with a glass of rose and enjoy simple food bought from the delightful local markets.

This apartment is a jewel--beautifully decorated, well-maintained, and located in the charming village of Grimaud, near St. Tropez. Patricia is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I would return again and again, and recommend it. The only caveat would be a warning that there is a steep stairway to negotiate, and while we had no problem, it might pose a problem for those with limited mobility. Wonderful experience.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We stayed 8 nights as a central location, on the occasion of our son getting married in St. Tropez . The family of his new wife lived in Gasson nearby. The kitchen was perfectly appointed with every gadget and all converters needed. The air conditioning was most appreciated. The condo was pretty, quiet, spacious & clean. We discovered Chez Clem across the street & up a level was open 7 days a week, breakfast lunch & dinner (this is unusual !! ) Grimaud is a lovely village. The condo owner was most obliging & helpful.We would stay there again in the future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+.

This place was delightful. It was clean, close to Grimaud village and quiet. The terrace is cozy and private, looks into the forest of the hills below. Has all the amenities needed for living there. We lived there for four weeks traveling around the wonderful mountains, beaches and towns of Provence, but you could stay right there and enjoy Grimaud village. Got to know the boulangerie and patisserie very well! As well as wonderful restaurants,no car needed. But parking is included and that is a bonus in this village. Would most definitely recommend. Will go again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We rented this lovely apartment over the period mid-September 2011 to mid-May 2012, and were very happy with our experience. The apartment itself is bright, modern and fully equipped with every possible amenity. The terrace looks out uninterrupted over woodlands, and the renowned village of Grimaud is quite literally a few steps away. Apart from the beauty and other charms of Grimaud itself (including some really good restaurants), plus the close proximity to places such as Saint Tropez (to name but one), Grimaud is beautifully positioned as a base from which to explore locations such as Nice, Aix en Provence, Marseilles, the Luberon - etcetera.....We can't speak highly enough of the owner, Paddy, a warm and charming women who in every way ensures that her guests are comfortable and happy, and she is a wonderful source of knowledge and inspiration about the entire region - and far beyond. So go for it - you will have a wonderful time!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Our family of four (two teenage girls) had a wonderful week in this perfectly located apartment. It was clean, modern and well stocked. The beds were great, and the two bathrooms were up to date. Our visit was in august, and the air conditioning was a relief. Across the street and up a glass elevator, were restaurants and a great boulangerie in the medieval village. Grimaud is the perfect place to walk around in the evening, the views are great, and they light the Castle at night. The parking was safe and convenient. The supermarche is a few blocks away, and St Tropez and the beaches were a 15 min drive. We had such an enjoyable stay that we extended our visit for a day! The owner, Patricia was very helpful, and easily accessible. We hope to be back soon. Family of four, children 12 and 14 years old, had a wonderful stay at this brand new remodeled apartment in the heart of Grimaud, a beautiful village just a short drive from St. Tropez. Atractive and quiet building, the apartment is comfortable, modern with brand new appliances in the kitchen. French doors from the living area and rooms open to a sunny terrace surronded by trees where we enjoy local wines every afternoon. Grimaud farmer's market is held twice a week just a few steps from the apartment complex. There is also a spacious, secured covered parking a few steps from the apartment. I will highly recommend this apartment to families want to explore the Provence region.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: British born, and multilingual world traveler, Patricia (Paddy) Nicholls, is part owner and Managing Director of XO Travel Consultants, a New York based tour operator, specializing in gastronomic and food and wine tours world wide. She first discovered St. Tropez in 1975 and has owned several vacation homes in the South of France since. She can be found either in her New York office, conducting wine tastings on tour all over the world, or taking care of her partner's olive grove and mill close to Grimaud.
