This attractive, south facing, brand new 2 bedroom garden apartment is surrounded by delightful woodlands with valley views. It is located in a quiet, small, upscale complex, recently completed, in the center of Grimaud, one of the most beautiful medieval perched villages in France, with spectacular views of the Gulf of St Tropez, the Maures forest and the Mediterranean sea.
The apartment has a covered patio for al fresco dining with BBQ, a lovely private garden terrace and a very well equipped kitchen. Good broadband internet, Wifi, TV, with some UK and US channels). Free international telephone calls to land lines is a plus. It is ideally located, close to St. Tropez and local beaches, small Provencal villages with their quaint markets, in addition to being close enough to Cannes, Nice and Monaco as a base to explore all the highlights of the French Riviera.
Accommodations consist of 2 separate bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms. The Grey room has a queen size bed, the Red room can be either a King or made up as 2 separate beds, (useful for children). Very comfortable, new matresses. 2 separate WCs.

The apartment is located very close to the Gulf of St. Tropez for some great sandy beaches and all sorts of water based marine activities. We are keen sailors and keep a sailboat in Port Grimaud.
The area is also well known for Cotes de Provence wines, especially roses. We can recommend winery tasting visits only 15 minutes from Grimaud. In addition, there is a new wine bar in Grimaud village, with excellent wines from all over the world. It's fun to sip and chat with friends in the evening.
Every Sunday, we try to visit the extensive Jas de Robert flea market, which has all sort of terrific bargains, antiques, clothes, linens, and bric a brac, all year round.

About the owner: British born, and multilingual world traveler, Patricia (Paddy) Nicholls, is part owner and Managing Director of XO Travel Consultants, a New York based tour operator, specializing in gastronomic and food and wine tours world wide. She first discovered St. Tropez in 1975 and has owned several vacation homes in the South of France since. She can be found either in her New York office, conducting wine tastings on tour all over the world, or taking care of her partner's olive grove and mill close to Grimaud.

The apartment is an hour and a half drive from both Marseilles and Nice airports, with a daily direct flight to New York from Nice and several low-cost options from both airports for flights to the UK.
