Beach towels/chairs, cooler, BBQ accessories,binoculars, sand toys, boogie boards, hair dryers, iron, quality chef cookware and dishware. You only need to bring sunscreen, bathing suits and food.
Washer and dryer are in the unit. Free exchange library on 3rd floor.
Decorator furnished with granite countertops, multi-spray stone shower, all new ceramic tile floors, paint, and tropical art. Everything in this unit is like new, from appliances and furniture to linens and dishware. The result is open, clean, and comfortable with tropical touches everywhere.
The living room's mirrored wall reflects and doubles the splendor of Maui's ocean and coastline as well as views of the island of Lanai and the West Maui Mountains. Rainbows abound!!
This is one of only two oceanfront complexes in Kihei where the private lanai (balcony) is accessed from the master bedroom and the living room. The views are spectacular from every window in every room, including the baths. The 10,000 ft. dormant volcano, Haleakala, fills the second bedroom and kitchen window views.
The condominium is on the fifth floor of a six-story building, equipped with elevators and a roof-top garden that is complete with barbecues, picnic tables, and lounge chairs with 360 degree views of the island and ocean. Once a month potluck dinners are held on the roof for all and our "conch shell trio" salute the sunset nightly from there.
The heated, ocean-side pool has additional sea-side barbecue areas and is located adjacent to the ancient Hawaiian "Kings Pond" which forms a great protected salt water swim/snorkel opportunity.
Hawaiian Humpback Whale Sanctuary is our immediate neighbor and information on the seasonal whale population can be obtained there as well as the best views on the island of the leaping, blowing mammals that visit us each year to give birth in the warm waters.
Our front yard consists of several miles of pristine state beach to run, walk, and explore, uninterrupted by commercial interests, true Maui style. Find your own personal beach and relax under a palm tree.
There are six world-class golf courses within a six-minute drive of Menehune Shores, and the Pacific Ocean Center is five minutes down the road. There, you can view the ocean's inhabitants through a walk-through glass tunnel, climb a rock wall, play miniature golf and extreme trampoline. Fishing, whale watching and snorkel or dive boats are available there as well as great restaurants and shops. The protected wildlife sanctuary of Kealia Ponds is walking distance from the condo. Take a stroll on the newly constructed walkway thru the ponds.
The exclusive hotels and shops of Wailea are located just south of Kihei and the old seaport of Lahaina is 20 minutes to the north.
We are centrally located to everything on Maui.
Exciting wind surfing, kayaking, canoeing and kite surfing activity can be viewed from the private lanai which is furnished for comfort and beauty.

Why the Owner Chose Menehune ShoresLinda moved to Maui ten years ago after retiring in California. The warmth of the people as well as the perfect climate and beauty of the island turned her vacation into a property search. As soon as she walked into this condo and saw the spectacular views, she was hooked. The fact that it can be shared with others as a vacation rental has been a pleasurable experience over the years. Aloha is "sharing breath" as well as goodbye and hello. It is love, and we extend it to our guests.
The Unique Benefits at this CondoThis property is very centrally located to all of the best places on Maui. Within minutes, you are downtown, at the airport, heading up the 10,000 ft volcano or playing on the numerous first class golf courses. I love to walk by beach to the grand hotels and shops of Wailea (four miles south), then have lunch and grab the bus back to the condo. For a change of pace, I walk the beach four miles north to the port shops and activities and then take the bus home.

We stayed for two weeks Nov. 2010 this is a lovely location and the condo has everything included. The evening sunsets from the top of the building are spectactular. The beach is wonderful for family swims and the snorkeling is great. The whales came into this cove. Thank you Linda for sharing your lovely condo with us.

We stayed at this condo twice in 2009 (about 10 days in March, and 1 month in July). Loved it. Great view, well equipped unit, accomodating owner. Linda was easy to deal with. Highly recommend this unit and would stay here again.

Linda @ Davina, Everything about this place makes me want to live here forever! You never get tired of watching the ocean or making a point to watch sunset and toast how great Maui is! There really is tranquility, action and peace in Maui! Golf was unbelievable "picture perfect"! From Kapalua to Makena, was golf's mecca of the world. I look forward to teaching my daughter one day in this magical place they call "Maui"-how "sweet" it will be! A thousand thank yous!
