I stayed here with friends for Coachella Weekend 1. The owner was extremely responsive and very helpful. The house is very well-maintained, with every extra you could want. There is a pool and hot-tub, grill and outdoor furniture, plenty of bathrooms, and a large kitchen complete with all utensils! The house is approximately 3 miles away from the festival, but an easy bike ride (straight shot up Madison). In case people are wondering, parking is really easy at the festival too so it's also not a problem to just drive in.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

WOW !!! Awesome home. We were there 3 nights and we could have stayed a month. We had a party of six and each one of us felt at home. Everything is updated. Great pool and spa area. You can barbeque or cook in the gourmet kitchen. The beds are very comfortable. This place is well cared for. The owners are very nice and easy to deal with. Can't wait for the next trip. This property is highly recommended.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in for the first time. The views are spectacular and the pool and hot tub were perfect. The home was beautifully furnished, well maintained, very comfortable and had a great layout. We enjoyed BBQ dinners on the patio and just hanging out. My husband enjoyed golfing everyday at a few of the many golf courses located nearby. We all enjoyed walking and riding bikes in the neighborhood. We took a fantastic desert/San Andreas Fault tour through Elite Land Tours and would highly recommend them. All in all, it was a great week . It was a pleasure working with Valerie, she was very responsive and everything was done in a timely manner. We will definitely be back.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We add our high five to this property, We had a wonderful three days w/our grandchildren and daughter. The house is very warmly furnished through out making you feel immediately 'at home' upon entry. The patio and pool area are well appointed, The setting provides a gorgeous view of the golf course while enjoying outdoor barbecue dinners. Our kids enjoyed the pool non-stop and the WiFi allowed them to 'play their IPad games when they decided to take a break from the 'pool' games. Adults enjoyed the ability to relax completely in a beautiful and posh setting and watch kids @ the same time. We would return.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My wife and I cannot say enough good things about our experience at this property in La Quinta. The amenities were fabulous at the house and we had everything we could have possibly needed. We were delighted with how clean and organized everything was. The pool and the views of the golf course were phenomenal! Booking was a snap and doing business with the owners was seamless. All of the information was emailed in a timely manner and we had our deposit refunded within a week of departure. I even called the owners for dining reccomendations and they were very helpful. They even called back to check if we needed anything else. You cannot go wrong with this vacation destination!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

My husband and I decided to take a Palm Springs vacation while the kids were on their Spring Break, and the lot of us were very pleased to find that the house was clean, organized, and endearing. Everything was sorted out and spotless, with freshly made beds and prepared living conditions. Darrin and his wife, Valerie, were an enormous help and, no matter what our questions were, they were always responsive and friendly. Additionally, the hot weather was an absolute joy and the backyard pool helped immensely to cool us down. The kids really enjoyed watching their father hit balls while drinking sodas in the jacuzzi. I will gladly be returning to this house whenever the family and I can find some downtime again. What a wonderful vacation!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Myself and 5 girlfriends were looking for a warm place to go for some fun in the sun. We found it! We had such a blast hanging out, getting some sun by the beautiful pool and spa of this totally awesome house on the golf course. The pool and spa are amazing and the home totally comfortable for up to 8 people in the best beds. The kitchen works perfectly for 6 women putting together dinners and the seperate bar area in the living room is convenient for those much needed margaritas by the pool. We swam all day and then headed to the spa, which comfortably fit all of us, for a nightcap. We did go to the Stagecoach Music Festival which was supposed to be the highlight of the trip but turned out not to be as we enjoyed the house and our own company, over the 60,000 that were at the concert. We are not golfers but those going by us all day sure seemed to be enjoying themselves. We also enjoyed the down couch for a movie night which is nicely situated in front of the gigantic flat screen tv. The bathrooms are beautiful and showers huge. We also used the Casita which is really just like another master suite, but not attached to the home, which made it nice for us because 2 of the girls were coming in later than some of the rest of us. Although we mostly cooked at the house, we did venture out to some great places to eat that were only minutes away. We also found the jogging/walking opportunities amazing. Went on numerous lengthy runs around the neighborhood and felt totally safe, even at night. The guards at the gate were very helpful and nice as well. The only thing that i think could be better is the pots and pans. Although they are new, we found that we really needed non stick kind of cookware. We will definetly return, oh, i forgot to mention that the owners, Valerie and her husband are incredibly easy to work with. Totally normal folk who want you to enjoy their home but take care of it at the same time.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

The 2 weeks in March that we spent at this La Quinta home went by far too quickly. The home had just been renovated and tastefully decorated as per the photos. Almost everything (appliances, bedding, utensils, patio furniture, bar-b-que) was brand new and spotless. In the mornings, as we sipped our coffee on the patio, we were able to watch the golfers go by and in the evening, we spent time in the inviting spa. Our dog enjoyed the enclosed front courtyard. Shopping and restaurants are a 10 min. drive away. Valerie, the owner, was quickly responsive to any questions we had. We hope to return soon to enjoy this beautiful home.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Warning: if you want a relaxing stress free vacation, do not stay here. Almost too many problems to list, but here it goes. 1. Transaction was made difficult from the beginning, can not elaborate as this would break the guidelines for this review. 2. Pool heater did not work. Called owner to ask how to operate and she warned us not to use the heater as the utility bill would be too high. She would/could not tell us how to operate the heater and so our kids were not able to swim in the pool on our family vacation as they were shivering too much. The next day, the maintenance man told us the pool heater has never worked. 3. DVD in the main family room does not work. Again, asked the owner how to operate and she said "just turn it on and push play" minimizing the problem. Of course, we had done this and spent 30 minutes with the maintenance man trying to operate with no success. 4. Power plant in the view behind the pool was conveniently cropped out of the online pics. 5. Kitchen was not well equiped (no large frying pan for breakfast, measuring spoons, measuring cups, etc. 6. No shower door in master bath (by design but it makes for a chilly shower). 7. Secondary rooms are small. 8. We were sent an annoying email on our day of departure reminding us that we need to be out by 11 am or we would be charged (I thought an appology for our trouble would be a better use of the email). 9. As my husband and I predicted, they found something to deduct from our security deposit. To be fair, our son did spill water on the couch 3 minutes prior to 11 am on the day we were leaving. Considering the imminent departure time, we could not properly dry, but assumed it would since it was just water and the couch was dark brown. The owner stated that a mark could not be seen on the surface of the couch, but when the cushion was lifted up there was a ring and they were going to deduct $100 for this. We have rented/owned rentals for years and have never heard of something so particular. We requested pics of the stain and the cleaning bill but will not hold our breath to receive, but instead will consider this a lesson learned: when a transaction seems difficult from the beginning, run the other way.Owner response: This response is best left in the reviews, as it reflects one person's opinion and should not be left out. We are fine with it because if you just take a moment and browse through the photos you will see that the house is beautiful, the rooms are spacious (TWO QUEEN size beds in the secondary room seems rather large to me) and the pool is breathtaking. Sometimes people feel that they were not treated fairly but I can assure you we are fair and reasonable people. We did indeed have damage done to a brand new sofa and we did indeed collect a repair fee (and yes photos were sent right away). The pool works very well and so did the DVD , but it is difficult at times to communicate over the phone how to reset the switches and controls when they have been mishandled incorrectly (by the guests own children). There are so many trivial non truths in this review that its not worth disputing. The transaction was difficult from the beginning because the initial check was late and when it did get here it did not clear the bank. After some hesitation and against my better judgement we still let them rent our home. I take full responsibility for that------lesson learned!!!! P.S we do not have a maintenance man.....?????
