Located on the beautiful estuary of Little River overlooking Todd's Point and the open ocean, this very comfortable two bedroom A frame style cottage is located in the private ocean side community of Indian Point. Step off the front deck and enjoy swimming in the tidal waters and relaxing on the sandy beach. This charming cottage provides a calming atmosphere of a remote island getaway.
As guests of this small private community, you will enjoy access to several sandy beaches, nature trails along the marshes, tidal flats, miles of beautiful rocks with spectacular views and a boat launch on a sheltered bay. On the opposite shore of Little River is Todd's Point, the southern tip of Reid State Park, which is accessible at low tide . . . there you can enjoy miles of sandy beaches and beautiful sandy dunes.
A great family oriented cottage awaits you in this cozy cottage. It has large picture windows in the living room and dining area looking out to Todd's Point. This cottage has two bedrooms, one with twins beds as well as its own screen porch and the other bedroom has twin beds. There is a pull-out futon in the sleeping loft . . . this cottage sleeps 5 comfortably. There are 1.75 bathrooms and a fully equipped galley style kitchen.
Although most guests will stay and enjoy the amenities of Indian Point, others will take a 10 minute drive to Five Islands considered by many to be the most picturesque fishing village on the mid coast. On the wharf at Five Islands enjoy a shore dinner of lobsters and clams while watching the working lobster boats. On the island of Geoegetown you will find a general store, restaurants, marina and a farm stand with fresh local vegetables as well as wines, cheeses and much more. A 20 minute drive up Route 127, you can visit the historic City of Bath with its maritime history and several old sea captain homes. While in Bath visit the Maine Maritime Museum as well as a variety of stores, wonderful shops and restaurants. A 40 minute drive from this cottage is the outlet shopping in Freeport, home of LL Bean's flagship store. Antiquing is available 30 minutes away on Route 1 in Wiscasset. For wonderful day trips, you will want to do some sightseeing in the Boothbay Harbor and Damariscotta areas . . . both one-hour away. One hour south is Portland where you can enjoy museums and many quaint shops located in the Old Port district.
In the event Lessee cancels his/her reservation of the leased premises, all consideration paid except the security deposit and lodging tax, will be forfeited by Lessee and retained by Lessor. If you should cancel and we are able to lease the premises to another party for the dates you had reserved, you will be entitled to a full refund with the exception of a $250.00 admin fee.
We ask that you make your reservation by sending an advance payment equal to 50% of the reservation period’s rental. The remaining balance is due 90 days prior to your check-in date. If you are reserving the property within the 90 day period, payment in full is required.

Indian Point lies at the very southern end of Georgetown Island on a peninsula with beautiful private sand beaches, nature preserve, tidal rivers and marshes, tide pools, and miles of exquisite colorful rocky coast.
Should you venture beyond Indian Point, you can drive to Boothbay Harbor for a windjammer cruise, a tour of the botanical garden, or shopping the boutiques. For a shopping adventure, check out LLBean and the outlets in Freeport, which is 40 minutes away. An hour away, you can sample the cuisines of historic Old Port in Portland.
Closer by, visit the famous Maine Maritime Museum next to the shipyard, attend a concert or music theatre, enjoy the scenic train to the Farnsworth in Rockland, charter a fishing boat, or visit dozens of studios, galleries and antique shops.
Right here on Georgetown Island buy lobster off the boat at the wharf in Five Islands, watch artisans at Georgetown Pottery, explore the beaches of Reid State Park, or enjoy meals from pizza to lobster or even superb dining.
