The water is simply gorgeous and beach is wide with plenty of room for play! Teenagers loved boogie boarding (no jelly fish!!!) and a pool is always a nice amenity, but this one was extra special. When you've had too much sun (is that possible?!) you can still enjoy the indoor part of the pool or swim outside again and hop into the hot tub. This property was special due to the corner unit with great views from front and side, but also with easy access from parking lot, and the fact that you can easily see the beach from the living room or balcony and keep an eye on everyone while enjoying a glass of wine! The beach was what we came for, so we did not take in too many sights, but we did take 8 teenagers to Joe's Crab Shack and had a blast! Also made a great Low Country Boil and found a pot large enough for it in the condo!! Got the shrimp from Sexton's and it was de-lish!!! There is so much to do around there, retail outlets, water park, golfing, etc.. We were tempted to cancel this one due to oil crisis, but am so glad we did not! Not one sign of oil problems there, in fact, it's really easy to forget about everything and just relax. Would highly recommend this one! Owner was exceptionally nice with a little French accent - always a plus!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
