We have tried to make your stay in San Antonio as memorable as possible. Each bedroom is its own retreat with luxurious 800 thread count sheets and TVs in all of the masters. For a relaxing morning enjoy the beautiful sunlight pouring into the extra large windows in the sun room overlooking the oak filled back yard. Catch up with friends and family while relaxing in the oversize living room or while playing a round of pool. The kids can run free in the back yard while enjoying the large playscape.
The home is in a prime location with easy access to highways that lead you to all of San Antonio's major and minor attractions in just minutes. A five minute drive will lead you to many of San Antonio's favorite restaurants for all dining tastes and pocketbooks. You will also be surrounded by grocery stores if you would rather stay home and cook in the fully stocked kitchen or gas grill.

Your stay in San Antonio could only be enhanced by the comforts you will experience at our home. This home has a very open floor plan with over 4000 sq feet! You can have large groups and still have your privacy. A sun room lines the house and floods it with natural light. All of the three Masters have king beds and your own TV with cable. Two more rooms have two queen beds each. All beds covered in 800 thread count sheets. The sun room has a wonderful sitting area for you to enjoy your morning coffee and look through the large picture windows at the beautiful tree filled back yard. You may also relax and enjoy each others company while enjoying a game of pool on the full size pool table.
The kitchen is fully stocked with top of the line stainless steel appliances and the staples needed to cook your own meal. Or if you feel like outdoor cooking you can enjoy the Texas weather while relaxing on the patio, watching the kids run and play on the play fort in the very large back yard and grilling on the gas grill. If cooking isn't on your vacation plans some of the cities best restaurant are just moments away.
The location couldn't be better. Only 10 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from down town and the River walk, 15 minutes from Six Flags Fiesta Texas, 20 minutes from Sea World and just seconds from highway access to take you to all the wonderful places San Antonio has to offer.

House had everything we needed for 5 month rental. Great family amenities....big yard with gorgeous trees, playground, lots of toys and games, baby equipment and plenty of space for family of 5. Kitchen is well stocked with all the basics and more...ice cream and popcorn makers a special treat. House has nice, bright decor and layout very open ranch style with huge bonus room featuring pool table. House updated with flat screen TV's, wi-fi, computer, stainless steel appliances, etc. Location in Hollywood Park provides close access to nearby shopping and tourist destinations. Some nearby highway construction, but back roads provided easy detour and avoidance of construction traffic. Friendly neighbors and great community with fun seasonal activities.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We are a family who returned to Texas due to the Japanese earthquake. My children and I called Casa del Sol home for a month. The home was fabulous and offered many amenities plus more. It is beautifully furnished and decorated. The accommodations can only be described by one word, "luxurious" and attention to detail is exceptional. The large backyard and patio was a plus too! The location was perfect and offered easy access to all highways. Lots food and shopping options nearby as well. Property owner was fabulous and went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and comfortable even though I was thousands of miles away from home. I highly recommend this property!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

I visited Casa Del Sol on vacation. I am not familiar with the San Antonio area, but the location was very easy to find and is conviently located to great food, shopping (recreational and grocery) and attractions such as Sea World, Fiesta Texas and The River Walk. Upon arriving to the vacation home I was totally blown away. The front yard is gorgeous with a lush, green lawn-which was well maintained and several mature trees. The inside of the house exceeded every expectation I had. It is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with every dish, pot and utensil you could think of. Each bedroom had the most comfortable beds one could want on vacation (and hard to get out of). The living room was very comfortable and we were able to watch movies with surround sound. The sunroom was also a favorite of ours because of the pool table. The backyard is very kid-friendly. My son even saw a squirrel in one of the trees (we don't see that where we're from). I will definitely stay here again and also recommend it to anyone who is thinking of visiting San Antonio.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

Is in the perfect home, it is conveniently situated in the heart of San Antonio, so we were able to go to Nice Restaurants, See World and the Zoo to have a lot of fun. The private, relaxing neighborhood and the nice back yard fill you out with harmony and peace, "of course if you are available to get up from the comfortable beds" that invite you to rest and release all the pain of routine. In the mornings we used to have very nice breakfast in the house to get ready for the day and you know what "the kitchen is incredible equipped" (it also has a popcorn maker to have some fun with kids in the afternoons). Definitely looking forward to come back with more friends and family!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

My family met in San Antonio for a wedding and mini-family reunion. Casa Del Sol was the perfect place for our band of 8 and we could have easily accomodated more. The house is beautiful, inviting and quite spacious. We enjoyed preparing family meals in the great kitchen and had perfect weather for grilling in the backyard. Morning walks in the neighborhood for exercise or just to marvel at the many trees and lovely homes was a daily pleasure. The home was in a good location, not far from either the airport or the Riverwalk. The owner was quite pleasant to work with and both gracious and accomodating for our particular needs. I would not hesitate to recommend Casa Del Sol to friends or family. In fact, I would love to have a reason to visit San Antonio in the near future and stay in the home again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

We stayed the week of June 14-19. Had a total of 15 in the house 10 adults, 5 kids ages 8 to 17 months We had plenty of room for everone. the kids loved the play set in the back yard. The adults enjoyed the pool table. Having all the ammenities of home made it great for all of us. The house is handicap friendly, as one of our adults is in a wheel chair. I would go back at anytime and stay again. The morning we left was the day the kids got to see the the Deer come down the street. We watched 3 of them just strole thur the neighborhood, it was wonderful.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

Went to San Antonio to finalize my son's adoption. We found the home on the internet and liked what we saw so we made reservations. Kim was incredibly helpful in answering questions before our trip. Upon arrival we were completely blown away. The home was not only gorgeous but extremely clean. We had 10 guests and all of them were of the same opinion. The house was great and a great value. I would recommend it to anyone.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities.

Everything was according the offer, the house is better than we expected. If in the photos the rooms look good, wait to see them in person. Everything is clean and new, we really enjoyed the big HD TV and the Pool table.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

My only complaint is that the back yard needed to be mowed....... My wishes would have been to have had a ceiling fan in the front bdrm (by the front door), it got awfully still and warm in that room, especially at night......a cover over the back patio.....and a normal bathtub....difficult to give little ones a bath in a sunken tub....:/ Other than those 3 things it was perfect for our family (8 adults and 3 children, ages 6mos to 2 1/2). The neighborhood was nice and quiet. We had a great itme and would return again. The property overall was GREAT!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

This vacation home was a perfect choice. There were enough room for the entire family, there were plenty of resources when needed and the distance for shopping, fun and excitement was within a good driving range. There was plenty to do, games, play area for the kids and space for some quite time.. The owner was also generous, and left a goody basket with snacks and a book of ideas with activities in the city, thanks.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Cancellation policy:
This vacation rental contract is a legal agreement between Karen Hayes (also referred to as the “Homeowners” and “Owner” and “Landlord” and “Property Manager”) and you, the Renters (also referred to as “Tenants” and “Guests”). This contract is entered into agreement as of the date when it is signed by both Owner and Renter(s). The Homeowner will notify the Renters by email when their reservation is accepted. Owner reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Payment Policy: We accept Checks, Paypal and electronic funds transfer. In order to book and hold your reservation, we must receive the security deposit and the signed rental contract (digital signature accepted). The rental total is due and payable at or prior to check in. There are NO REFUNDS. We encourage Guest to acquire Travel Insurance to protect their investment in the event that they must cancel for an unexpected emergency or other reason. Cleaning & Linen Service Policy: The home is provided with pillows, linens, blankets, towels, kitchen towels, comforters, hand towels & wash cloths including extras located in closets. A cleaning service to clean the house and linens on your departure is included on your invoice. However, you are only responsible for cleaning the fireplace (if you use it) and the BBQ grill(s) (if you use them). Failure to clean either will result in a $20 fee charged to your credit card for each item left dirty. You are responsible that all debris, rubbish and discards are placed in plastic bags and transferred to the large trashcans by the garage (you are responsible for rolling the large trashcans out to the curb on Thursday night if you are in the Hacienda on Thursday night), and soiled dishes and cooking utensils are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned. Linens, blankets, pillows, bedspreads, comforters and towels are provided. It is standard for beds to be made for Guests arrival as part of the linen and cleaning service. The home is provided with a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels and 10 bottles of cold water in the refrigerator. There is also shampoo & conditioner in the bathrooms, laundry detergent in the laundry room and numerous extras such as popcorn, snacks, etc. Owners do not guarantee that these extra items will always be available and guests should bring their own paper goods, toiletries, & laundry detergent, etc. Rental Agreement: We, the Renters (also referred to as “Tenants” and “Guests”) agree to the following: 1) PAYMENT DUE - All rental monies are due & payable according to the payment schedule disclosed under "Payment Policy" above on reservation acceptance. 2) CANCELATION or EARLY DEPARTURE – There are NO REFUNDS for CANCELLATION OR EARLY DEPARTURES . If a Guest requests a cancellation 30 DAYS or more before check-in, Owner will make a “best effort” to re-rent the property. If the Owner is able to successfully re-rent the reserved period, the Owner will refund the total rental payment less a $300 servicing fee. Guest may obtain trip cancellation insurance through a third party. Guest ASSUMES THE RISK. 3) WEATHER CONDITIONS - There are NO REFUNDS for weather conditions, even if a mandatory evacuation is ordered (optional travel insurance is offered for Guest’s protection or Guest may obtain through a third party. Guest ASSUMES THE RISK). 4) CONDITION OF PROPERTY: Owners have, to the best of their ability, given an accurate description of the property and its condition. Guest understands that it is considered as reserved "sight unseen". Our cleaning staff will have cleaned it before your occupancy. All electrical, plumbing and appliances should be in working order. The failures of operation of certain extra amenities, such as TVs, cable, games, or the Internet and WiFi service are not a basis for any refund. Owners will use their Best Efforts to have the extra amenities available for use during Guest’s stay, but does not guarantee that they will be available during Guests occupancy. “Best Efforts” means the efforts that a reasonable person would employ when genuinely desirous of achieving the indicated objective, being mindful of all of the circumstances, including but not limited to the benefit to the Guest and the cost to the Owner. When you arrive, if you find that the house has not been cleaned to normal standards please notify the Owner immediately. We will use reasonable efforts to have tradesmen attend to the problems but may not be able to fix everything over holidays and weekends. Under no circumstances will any of the rental money be refunded or returned because of the condition of the house. The Guest agrees to hold the Owner harmless from any liability for the condition of the house. 5) CLEANING & REPAIRS: All homes have cleaning included in the total rent. Please note that cleaning does not include dishes, cooking utensils, BBQ's or the fireplace. If additional cleaning is required after you leave, it will be charged to your credit card. Guest agrees to keep house, furniture and furnishings in good order, to keep walks, patios swept and clean and free of debris. Removing, adding or changing furniture without Owner’s written approval shall be deemed a material breach of this Rental Agreement, and is strictly prohibited. Guest is responsible for cost of replacement of any damage to furniture or premises and replacement of missing items. Under no circumstances can any furnishing or linen be taken outside with the exception of those items specifically mentioned in paragraph 8. 6) ENTRY OF PREMISES: With Guest’s permission, which is hereby given, Owner or Owner’s representative may enter the premises during reasonable daylight hours without securing prior permission from Guest, but shall give Guest notice of such entry immediately prior if possible and immediately thereafter. For inventory and maintenance purposes a property management employee of the Owner may need to enter the premises. The same permission procedure applies as above. In any emergency, Owner or Owner’s servicing agents may enter the premises at any time without permission of Guest for the purposes of making repairs to alleviate such emergency. If Guest abandons or vacates premises, Owner may, at his option, terminate this agreement, re-enter the premises and remove all Guest's property. 7) ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE INSURANCE - Renters will be completely responsible for any and all damage to the home or property caused by Renters, whether, intentional, accidental or due to Renters negligence. 8) USE OF EXTRAS - The owner makes available extra towels and linens to handle unusual circumstances or needs including a few beach towels. These extra items are provided in the master bathroom linen closet or in the laundry room cupboards. Any unused beds will be left as found. Leave used beds unmade and used towels on the bathroom floor or laundry room. 9) ASSUMPTION OF RISK: Accordingly, persons using the play equipment do so at their own risk and the owner assume no responsibility for accident or injury. Renters will hold the Owners harmless from any and all bodily injury and/or property damage incurred on the property arising out of Renters' negligent acts or omissions. See disclaimer below. 10) CHILD PROOFING: Guest understands that no special efforts have been made to “childproof” this house, and accept the risk or harm to any children we allow on the property. These risks are not limited to, but include access to the yard, adjacent streets, cleaning and supplies in the house and plants in the house, patio and on the street, that might be poisonous if ingested. 11) FURNITURE: All furniture must be returned to its original location on Guest's departure or an additional charge will be made. 12) MISSING ITEMS - Renters will be charged for any missing items reasonably attributable to Renters and not returned after notification. The cleaning service performs an inventory/survey of the property after Guests depart and notifies the Owner of any missing items. Owner will notify guests in the event that items were inadvertently taken, and provide guests a 10 day opportunity to return the missing items. 13) USE OF SECURITY CAMERAS - Renters understand and accept that the property may be protected with outside security cameras. These cameras, if present, are used to protect the property from potential break-ins and theft. There are NO cameras inside the house. 14) PERSONAL PROPERTY: Guest understands that any personal property of and used by Guest is not insured by Owner and Owner shall not be responsible for any lost, stolen or missing property of the Guest or property of Guest left after check out. 15) KEYS - Lost keys or garage door opener will incur replacement costs of $25 and $50 respectively. 16)NO PARTIES - This is not a party house. The Renter must be 25 years of age to book this Vacation Rental. Any special occasions such as weddings, receptions, family reunions or increase of occupants (guests not registered on registration form) must be disclosed at the time the reservation is made and is subject to Owner's advance approval. Prom parties, fraternity or sorority parties and graduation parties are not allowed at any time. Adults cannot rent property on behalf of underage guests, no exception. 17) NON-SMOKING - This is a NON SMOKING vacation rental. Evidence of smoking, such as the smell of cigarette or cigar smoke inside the home by the cleaning crew is sufficient basis to charge the renter for smoke cleanup and removal from carpeting, AC ducts & filters and furniture. This type of clean up is expensive and Renter is Liable for the deep cleaning Costs incurred. 18)NO PETS ALLOWED. If you bring a pet(s), this rental agreement will be forfeited, terminated and deposits will be retained and a deep cleaning fee will apply. Unless pet addendum is signed and pet fees charged in quote. 19)MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY - is ten adults- Beds for 10 adults are provided (4 bedrooms). Occupancy beyond 10 will sleep on futon/ sofa bed or sleeping bags on the floor in the tv room. 20) FIREPLACE - The fireplaces are decorative only and are not to be used. 21) PARKING – Parking is limited to six (6) vehicles. Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only (driveways & carports). 22) SUBLETTING: Guest is not authorized to let or sublet all or any part of the premises nor assign the lease or any interest in it without the prior written consent of the Owner. 23) CHECK-IN & CHECKOUT - Check-in is at 5:00 PM and checkout is 11:00 AM. A late checkout is subject to extra rental charges at the rate of $25/hour after a grace period of 30 minutes. Guests may arrange for extra nights in advance to avoid any late checkout fees. Extra nights are charged at the daily rate and may be granted if available. If Guests are not present when cleaning crews arrive and have left their possessions in the house, cleaning staff will collect their possessions and remove them from the premises in order to prepare the unit for incoming guests and Guest will be charged $150 for this service. PLEASE checkout promptly, the cleaning staff has a very short time window to prepare the unit for new guests. 24) CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES - Renters are responsible to complete the check-out procedures in the provided guest package that includes a check out list and to insure that the keys are left in the home and the home is left locked(by using the button on the front door). 25) HOLDING OVER: Because of the nature of Owner's business (short term l rentals) Guest understands, and is hereby put on notice that any unauthorized "holding over" of the property past the stated rental period could severely jeopardize Owners business and cause loss of rental income from other previously booked guests, temporary and/or permanent loss of business, goodwill and reputation and, among other things, could force Owner to breach an agreement with similar short term summer and winter recreational Guest(s) who may have reservations during Guest's unauthorized "holding over" period. In the event, Owner may be legally liable in damages to said other guests. Guests should be aware that unauthorized "holding over" has been construed as a factor in establishing "malicious continuing occupation" of rental property, which may entitle Owner to treble damages in any unlawful detainer action. Guest also recognizes the unauthorized "holding over" could be grounds in court as a cause of action for intentionally interfering with Owner’s prospective business advantage. In addition, we will charge $25.00 an hour past 11:30 a.m. on day of check out. 26) RELATIONSHIP OF PARTIES: It is specifically agreed and understood that the relationship between the parties herein shall be deemed to be of proprietor and lodger or Guest as opposed to a relationship of landlord/tenant. Guest specifically waives and make inapplicable to this lodging the provisions of Texas landlord/tenant Law. 27) REMEDIES: In the event of a default to the Rental Agreement, particularly, but not limited to Guests unauthorized "holding over" or those acts mentioned above in this agreement, and in addition to all other rights and remedies Owner may have at law, Owner shall have the option, upon written notice or as the Law may hereinafter provide, Owner may immediately re-enter and remove all persons and property from premises. In such an instance, the Rental Agreement will be terminated, and Owner shall be entitled to otherwise recover all damages allowable under the Law. The Guest, as part of the considerations of this special rental, in recognition that this property is booked in advance by other Guests throughout the year, hereby waives all claims for damages that might be caused by Owner; re-entry and taking possession of premises or removing or storing property as herein provided, and will hold Owner harmless from loss, costs and damages occasioned thereof, and no such re-entry shall be considered or construed to be a forcible entry as defined in the Texas Code of Civil Procedure or other similar statutory provisions. Further, if for any reason Owner is unable to deliver possession of the premises to Guest at the commencement of the term specified in the Rental Agreement, Owner shall refund amounts paid by Guest, but shall not be liable for any other damages caused thereby. 28) ATTORNEYS FEE/DEFAULT: If any legal action or proceeding (including default, non payments, etc.) arising out of or related to this Rental Agreement is brought by either party to this Rental Agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to receive from the other party, in addition to all other relief that may be granted, the reasonable attorney's fees, costs and expenses incurred in the action or proceeding by the prevailing party. 29) INDEMNIFICATION: Guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Owner for any liability arising before termination of this Rental Agreement for personal injuries or property damage caused by the negligent, willful or intentional conduct of Guest(s). This indemnification agreement does not waive Owner's duty of care to prevent personal injury or property damage when that duty is imposed by law. 30) PRIOR AGREEMENTS: No prior agreement or understanding not contained in writing herein shall be effective. Furthermore, Owner, other than what is specifically written and set forth herein, makes no other or further representation regarding the nature, character and quality of the premises to be rented, and no representation shall be deemed to exist or be material unless and until it is reduced to a writing and signed by the parties. This Rental Agreement may be modified in writing only, and must be signed by the parties in interest at the time of the modification. It constitutes the entire agreement of the parties. If any provision in this contract held by any court to be invalid, void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall never the less continue in full force. 31) FORUM SELECTION, JURISDICTION, LAW AND VENUE– The parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the District Court of the State of TEXAS for EL PASO County and/or Municipal court for the city of EL PASO for the resolution of all disputes arising under this Agreement. The sole and exclusive venue (i.e. place where lawsuit may be filed) for any legal proceedings shall be in the County of EL PASO, TEXAS. Guest expressly waives any other right or privilege with respect to the election of venue or court (i.e. state or federal) and location of the venue of action. GOVERNING LAW – It is expressly agreed that this Agreement shall be governed and construed by the laws of the state of Texas only, irrespective of the state of residency of Guest. Disclaimer: Renters understand that the Homeowners are not responsible for any personal injury caused by slipping on wet pavement or surfaces, and that tenants are responsible for exercising care when surfaces are wet or slippery due to weather, usage or use of hoses to wash down areas, and further, that the homeowners are not responsible for any personal injury or loss or damage to tenants’ property caused directly or indirectly from foul, inclement weather conditions, Acts of God or nature, failure of heat, accidents related to fire, heaters, stoves, tenants’ failure to take adequate precautions around wet areas, or any unforeseeable circumstances. Under no circumstances will Tenants or their guests hold the Owners of the Vacation Rental responsible for any damages or claims of any kind resulting from their stay, except for intentional acts of harm. This agreement and disclaimer applies to Renters and all guests in the Renters’ party. I, the Renter, have read, understand, agree to, and will abide by this rental agreement and all conditions stated herein.
