Fully equipped Chefs kitchen and extensive library is filled with books, DVD's and CD's. Lounge around the house on our beautiful covered porches and catch up on your reading. Play board games on rainy afternoons, in the evenings sit by the firepit and roast marshmallows. Cozy, wood burning fireplace, great room, eat in kitchen and separate dining room provide plenty of room for cooking and gathering. Don't forget the family dog, this home is pet friendly!

About: My husband and I for years searched for the perfect spot to get away from our hectic lifestyle. The first time we vacationed in the Highlands/Cashiers Area we knew we had found that spot. It is truly like going back in time to the small towns in North Carolina where we grew up or even some of the small villages we had visited in Europe. After five years of vacationing here we bought our own home and live here year round to share with family and friends. After my brother moved here several years ago we decided to build an additional house that would be a special place for people to come and enjoy this area the same way we have enjoyed it.
