PICTURESQUE BEACON HILL, BOSTON'S HISTORIC CENTER! This 1,100 square foot, 3 bedroom condominium in the heart of Beacon Hill is perfectly situated for those wishing to enjoy the best of Boston. Occupying the 3rd and 4th floors of a small 19th century building, the recently renovated condo offers charm and comfort. High ceilings, wood floors throughout and lots of light from the many windows are the setting for an eclectic mix of antique and modern furniture, plenty of books and art.
YOU WON'T NEED A CAR! Step out of the condo and you will find a day spa and yoga studio at street level. Walk to everything! One short block to Charles Street, with its cafes, boutiques, antique galleries and restaurants. Two blocks to the Public Garden, or to the Boston Common. Enjoy the Swan Boats in the summer, or walk to skating on Frog Pond in winter. Stroll down to the Esplanade and go for a run along the Charles River for a great view of the Boston skyline.
Boston's excellent subway system is just minutes away. Only 3 stops on the Red Line and you are in Harvard Square, or catch the Green Line to the MFA. In the summer, you will enjoy the comfort of central air conditioning and the views from the private roof deck. The small, but nicely fitted kitchen has everything for those who like to cook, including 2 ovens. In the marble-tiled bathroom, we replaced the bathtub with a large glass-enclosed shower with a bench and a rain-shower head. The 2 larger bedrooms have new queen mattresses, and the smaller bedroom has one twin bed.

This week I lived among the locals in Boston’s revered Beacon Hill neighborhood. This gorgeous 3 bedroom apartment is located seconds from the corner of Charles and Beacon Streets. This very comfortable home had everything I needed. Three levels up, I marveled at the absence of street noise while enjoying the local flavor. The roof top deck is an ideal spot to enjoy a morning coffee, local pastries and take in the view. The home is artfully decorated. The beds are quite comfortable and the bathroom lovely and spacious with a fabulous shower. The modern kitchen had everything we needed.
My companions needed no car at all. Everything is truly within a few minutes walk. I strolled down streets and soaked up the culture. I chatted with locals, had croissants at a local bakery, shopped "The Hill" and grabbed some groceries at Savenor's Market - a Julia Child favorite. There is a wonderful day spa a few steps from the apartment, Boston Common is a block away, and a variety of great dining choices abound!
This apartment is also very close to any type of public transportation we needed to go out and tour all the many parts of this fantastic historical city. If you do bring a car, a public parking garage is just a block away under Boston Common. Take a tour of the city, walk the neighborhoods, visit the museums, and experience the fabulous history of America's birthplace! Boston is a city for all seasons and this Beacon Hill apartment is a wonderful home away from home.

Had a wonderful stay here and will definitely try to rent this place again next time I'm in Boston. The neighborhood is very charming, quiet, and convenient. There are many great restaurants and stores that are a very short walk away. I found the owner to be very pleasant and accommodating. Communication with her was very easy and rapid via email.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We've been in this beautiful house for the second time (me, my husband and our two daughters, 9 and 14 years old) and it was just perfect! Once again, extremely clean, tidy and cosy. The kitchen is fantastic, has all equipment to cook perfectly, the bedrooms are confortable and very charming, everything working perfectly. The neighborhood is the best in town (best restaurants) and the location is fantastic, it is possible to go anywhere in Boston walking through beautiful places. The price is well worth for everything that you can have from this beautiful place. Our family has remarkable memories from there!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We stayed at the Beacon Hill condo the middle of November. Such a great location to everything. Just around the corner are great shops, restaurants, coffee shops and pubs. Just a few blocks to the Freedom Trail. Just a wonderful experience we had in feeling like a local. I just spent a week at this property and had a wonderful time. It is clean, well maintained and well appointed. Caroline's description of the property was accurate so there were no surprises. The location is one of the best features and we really enjoyed dining a block away on Charles Street then having a lovely walk back to the condo - no parking or driving hassles. Caroline was very helpful and provided a lot of information about things to see and do.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

My family and I spent a wonderful week in Caroline's home in Beacon Hill. The condo was very comfortable, clean, well appointed and maintained. The location also made the stay a memorable one since it was within walking distance of most of the things we wanted to do, and close to a Boston T stop when it was not. The restaurants and shops just a block away on Charles Street made life so easy and it was truly a pleasure to have a lovely meal and walk a few blocks home afterward.Did you find this review helpful? My family and I recently stayed at the condo while visiting Boston. The apartment is tastefully decorated and has all the amenities that we need esp books. We felt as if we were at home. You cannot beat the location either. It is within walking distance to the stores, restaurants, cafe, shopping and public transportations and only 12 minutes to the airport by taxi. My son's only complaint is that our vacation was not for seven years.Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

My husband and I and our two friends stayed here for our recent Boston getaway. The location itself was perfect, not only do you feel like you are right in the heart of an authetic, and historic, Boston neighborhood, but you can walk to so many things! When our destination was too far for walking, we found the T convenient as well. The condo was lovely and incredibly comfortable and had everything (and more!) that we needed during our stay. Caroline was incredibly kind, generous and helpful. Highly recommend!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
