Our home is located on Secret Key Cv, a private street upon entering the 5 Star Award Winning Emerald Island Resort and only a 4 minute walk to the Resort Clubhouse and 3 Mile drive to Disney. Our home backs onto forest conservation land providing the ultimate level of privacy and serenity. Only a short distance away discover the magic of Disney, golf at the world's premier courses, shop until you drop, or treat yourself to fine cuisine.
Our home starts with an entrance porch leading to a spacious first family and dining room complete with a sofa set,1080P HD LCD Big Screen 47' TV with Blu-Ray Player, and formal dining table set. A well equipped kitchen includes modern appliances (fridge with ice maker, stove, microwave oven, garborator, dishwasher) with cutlery and serving dishes for 10, coffee maker, kettle, toster, toaster oven, George Forman Grill, and ice crushing blender. The kitchen has a separate eating area which leads into a second family room that overlooks the pool & spa area. The second family room comes complete with a full leather sofa and love seat set including a queen sized sleeper, a 42' Plasma HDTV, and DVD/CD Player. The second family/kitchen area share a ceiling fan for improved air circulation.
The layout of the home is on a single level with no stairs offering improved access for elderly, handicapped, and wheelchair guests. All common areas are tiled and the bedrooms have new laminate flooring. The entire home has been re-painted with soft earth-tone colors. All common areas have vaulted ceilings.
The patio doors open to the pool and upgraded Whirlpool Jacuzzi spa enclosed in an extended screened deck perfect for sun tanning with a removable security fence for child protection. The whirlpool has upgraded jacuzzi jets with a timer and the pool area is equipped with an outdoor patio set including zero-gravity loungers. The pool area faces south west and enjoys sunshine throughout the day. The combination pool & whirpool spa is one of the larger pools for homes in the community. Where pool heat is selected, the spa heats to temparatures of approximately 98F and the pool to approximately 85F.
Four bedrooms (with 2 Master Bedrooms) offer a king size, queen size, a guest room with twin beds, and a chlidren's room with double bunk beds. The rooms are equipped with dressers and night stands. The first master bedroom has a king bed with a ceiling fan and ensuite private bathroom with double sinks, a roman tub and walk-in showers and private toilet. The second master bedroom has a queen bed and a private ensuite bathroom. Both master bedrooms have HD flat screen TVs. All the bedrooms have new linnens and comforters since we purchased the home. All the bedrooms have newly installed laminate flooring for imporved breathability while sleeping. The four bedrooms and queen sleeper sofa comfortably provides sleeping capacity for up to 10 guests.
The home is equipped with cable TV in all bedrooms, air conditioning, WIFI internet access, and unlimited long distance calling to the USA and Canada. The 3 bathrooms are equipped with white bath and face towels. The house comes ready with place settings, cutlery, cups, linnens, and towels to accomodate 10 guests.
A double garage houses a washing machine and dryer. The garage has been converted into a games room with a pool table, air hockey, ping pong, couch and pub table for playing cards.
For young children, the home has a highchair, portable folding playpen, and stroller.

Lovely villa in a nice, secure location. The kids loved the pool. Mom and Dad loved the spa area! Very close to the conveniences along Irlo Bronson and Disney. The management company were very helpful and quick to respond to our questions (pool heat had been turned down for prior renter). Would definitely consider renting again in the future.Recommended for: Families with young children.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home! It is perfect for a family of 4 (or even 2 families of 4). My kids loved the pool, hot tub and bunk beds! The house has 2 living spaces so works for 2 families. We did not even need the amount of space this home afforded us! Our fur babies travel with us and they loved it too!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children.

We truly enjoyed our stay at your home. It was spacious ,comfortable , and unlike other places we 've stayed, it had everything we needed in kitchen supplies and towels, and lounge chairs. The pool was heated to the perfect temperature and we enjoyed the spa in the evenings. The king bed was very comfortable, and the 2 large screen TV's were a bonus. The resort pool and Tiki bar had a great atmosphere , and the location was close to all Disney activities. The owner was prompt in answering any questions that arose. Highly Recommend !Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

The house was amazing, even better than the pictures show. Very clean and up to date. Pool was warm and so nice to relax in after a long day at the parks. Clyde was always quick to respond via email for any question I had, and the management company responded quickly to us regarding pool heat not being very warm the first night we were there. we called on a Sunday morning and within minutes had a response, pool heat was adjusted that day and remained great for the rest of our trip. House is so close to Disney we were able to come home for meals and return to the parks within a short period of time. Complex is gated and very safe and clean. We are already considering this property for a future trip when we have children, would STRONGLY recommend to everyone. Thank you again to Clyde and his family for sharing this wonderful home and making our trip better than ever.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We enjoyed our stay at Clyde's house and would recommend it to anyone interested. The layout is great and it was very nicely furnished (with some slight issues on one of the couches). For those with children (who want to relax after hours) the front living room provides a great avenue to talk and watch TV with the children's room well away from the noise. The master bedroom has a very comfortable bed with a roomy bathroom arrangement (and plenty of closet/clothing spaces). Overall the house was an excellent escape after a full day at the parks. And in regards to the parks, the house is at a perfect location (close enough for the short drive) yet situated away from the noise of main streets and highways. One of the benefits of renting a home is that you don't have people above your room or to either side that keep you up. This house hits that mark in that it provided very quiet nights and plenty of room to spread out. For those interested I would suggest visiting Clyde's website and viewing the YouTube video which give you a great indication as to what you will be getting. Clyde was very responsive with his e-mails (before, during and after our trip) and returned our deposit very quickly.Recommended for: Families with young children.

The house is well laid out and very comfortable. The games room is terrific for the kids and having a washer/dryer was a must for us. The rooms are comfortable, well-furnished and nicely decorated. The kitchen is well-equipped for a vacation home. We cooked every day and had enough of what we needed. We found enough towels, pillows, etc. Having a Publix nearby was helpful in purchasing everythign we needed for the week, including pool toys! The office and clubhouse were very accommodating and helpful. Heading there to use the larger pool and have a few drinks at the end of the day was very nice. They also accepted a courier package and held it for us, which was great. The only drawbacks were the pool equipment - very noisy - outside the master bedroom - bring ear plugs if youy are a light sleeper! And the pool temperature was very variable. We had a great time and will recommend it to friends for future stays.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family and I were visiting the Disney area for the holidays, and the Disney Forest Home provided us with the most perfect home setting. The house was clean and met all our needs. If I had any questions during our stay, Clyde would promptly answer any of my questions even during the Christmas holiday. We will certainly consider this home next time we visit. The house and the location were even better than we had hoped for. With two small dogs we were happy to find the nature trail so close to the house. We used it every day to tire the dogs before we left to enjoy Disney. I would recommend this home to everyone. And I hope to book it again next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: My wife Amanda and I purchased our Disney Forest Home at Emerald Island, Kissimmee to enjoy the wonders of Disney with our now four young boys. I am a Canadian Chartered Accountant and my wife is an Insurance Underwriter. Family time is important to us with our children and we hope that those that rent our property will treasure the memories of their Disney family vacations as we do. We take pride in our property ownership and are constantly upgrading the features in our house to create an even greater vacation experience for our guests.
Why the Owner Chose Emerald Island Resort:
We selected Emerald Island for ownership as we preferred a gated and guarded community for safety issues with very close proximity to the Disney resort parks and local Orlando attractions. We wanted an environment where we felt we were on vacation and the luxury at Emerald Island provided exactly that. We have a very short walk to the Resort Clubhouse to enjoy a drink and snack at the community pool/sauna/spa, the nature walk is fabulous and peaceful, we love playing tennis, and the community is surrounded by water making additional development impossible to protect the exclusivity and privacy of the Emerald Island Resort.

Our property is unique to other vacation homes in the community as we back onto the conservation forest/nature walk. While other properties face the backyards of homes, have exposure to wind due to open space, or do not have day long sunlight, our backyard is peaceful and private with day long exposure to the sun so you really can relax when taking a swim or enjoying the upgraded Whirlpool Jacuzzi jet spa.
