This is a really nice cabin. Truly a log cabin in every sense. The setting is majestic and the views fantastic. The cabin is spotless and easily accomodated our party of four/five adults. The weather was perfect for late October and the wildlife (including deer and turkeys) was abundant. Hold your breath as you walk for the first time onto the tree-top level back deck, which affords some of the best mountain and lake scenery available anywhere. Property owner is very pleasant and reservation/confirmation process extremely easy. I definitely recommend this cabin for a weekend (or weeklong) getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bent Tree. The cabin was cozy and very comfortable for the two of us plus one small dog. It met all our needs. The layout is very conducive for 4 people; but not sure about 6 people. The property was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and the beautiful view of the lake. We especially liked grilling on the barbecue. We took advantage of some of the many amenities at Bent Tree. We played mixed doubles tennis on Tuesdays and Thursdays, swam in the pool, and hiked on the Bent Tree trails. We also went on several day trips. We especially liked Amicalola Falls, Fort Mountain State Park, and Blue Ridge. There is plenty to do and see. Our favorite restaurant was Appalachia Grill. The owner provided us with excellent customer service and I would definitely recommend this property.

We immensely enjoyed this beautiful log home in a pristine area. The views alone take your breath away! Our children were thrilled with the many deer, turkey and other wildlife in the area. We swam in the clear lake with nice beach area, loved the pool with diving board, played tennis and had lessons, had brunch at the 19th Hole restaurant, enjoyed the waterfall, drove into Atlanta for Braves games, and our daughters truly enjoyed Horse Camp. The activities available at Bent Tree are outstanding! Sallie is a true pleasure to deal with and the cabin itself is amazing! The wood is so beautiful and the kitchen so modern and convenient. My kids loved sitting at the breakfast bar. The beds are extremely comfortable and on rainy days, there are cable tv and video games. We are so lucky to have found this gorgeous place!

This is the perfect get-away for those who want to drink in the beauty of nature while at the same time reading a good book. Whether it is spring, summer, fall, or winter, the view is spectacular and the atmosphere peaceful. One of our favorite restaurants is in Jasper, the Woodbridge Inn. This mountain bungalow has all the amenities of home without the interruptions of home! And if you must stay in touch with the outside world, there is high-speed internet in the cabin so it can be a great place to get work done - if you must!

Great mountain cabin. Rented property on short notice for family issue. Owner was great to work with and even though we only stayed for a few days, and were really only there to sleep we have added listing to our favorites and hope to go back for a relaxing vacation in the future. Views were fantastic and the wildlife was everywhere. Beds were very comfy and home was very clean. We were even suprised to enjoy fireworks over the lake on New Years Eve.

What a wonderful mountain cabin! Our one week was too short. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and so cozy with all the wood interior. The owner was always responsive to all of our questions and concerns. My husband and I were content just to sit and relax on the back deck and enjoy the lake view and the deer. We would highly recommend this cabin for future guests. Gerrry and Liz Aurora, IL

What a great cabin! It's what you'd want when coming to a mountain community, wood beams, walls, rustic decor and a welcoming feel! We only stayed for a weekend but that was enough time to know we would return to this cabin again. The bed was comfortable too! The view is spectacular and we wish we had more time to enjoy the view! Our dogs had a blast too!

We loved our week at this cabin. The lake view off the back deck was gorgeous - we were content to sit out there several times daily, watching the birds and enjoying the glorious scenery. The cabin is clean, well-maintained and comfortable. We had friends and family over for dinner several times, and it was easy to entertain. The owner was always responsive to our questions as we prepared for our week's visit. We plan to return soon, and recommend this cabin highly! The driveway and steps are pretty steep, which may be a problem for some guests, but it didn't bother us at all. We enjoyed the resort amenities thoroughly, including golf, tennis, hiking trails, running, and attending the weekly "pot luck" fellowship dinner at the lakeside pavilion.
