Our family just returned from a spectacular week at this extraordinary, well-equipped lakefront home.(We echo every comment shared by reviewer Tim following his family's stay - the home, its location, and the amenities are simply superb). The property's owners, Bart and Lynda, were very gracious and hospitable, going out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our vacation by offering excellent recommendations on great kayaking and motor-boating destinations (we had rented a 21' powerboat at a marina recommended by Bart); the best and safest places to bring our teens to go tubing and swimming while out on the lake on the motorboat; sightseeing locales not to be missed; best-bet farm stands, grocery, and other shopping spots; and top restaurant picks. We boated to and enjoyed great meals at the Wolfe Trap (Wolfeboro), as well as at the Common-Man owned restaurants, Lago and the Lake House (both along the waterfront in Meredith). We also enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Wood Shed in Moultonborough, a 20-minute car ride from the house. An early-morning boat ride to Center Harbor shortly after sunrise to pick up bagels for breakfast was great fun! One week simply wasn't long enough to enjoy this very special house and its idyllic location - we hated to leave! We highly recommend this home! Enjoy!

This house is a gem! I took my family including my adult children and young granchildren and it was a wonderful experience for everyone. The home was in magnificent condition and the amenities are of the highest quality. The house has a beautiful sandy beach with a dock for a boat and beautifully kept lawns for outdoor activities. But, what makes the house truly one of a kind is that the house is on a magnificent point with breathtaking views of sunrise and sunset.

My family and I have rented on Winni for the past 10 years so we know the lake very well. We have never stayed at the same home twice. I would highly recommend this home. It has breathtaking views of the mountains and lake from every room in the house except the kitchen. The cove is a restricted no-wake zone so there is no heavy boat traffic. There is quick access to the big lake and excellent boating in less than 5 minutes. The web site does not do the home justice. It is much nicer in person. The home was immaculate and everything inside including linens and bedding was high quality. The lake front is quiet and peaceful. There is a boys camp around the corner, but you are never bothered by anyone from the camp. Bart and his wife Lynda are incredibly accomodating. If you are bringing a boat it can be launched right at the property. Fishing off the dock is excellent for sunfish and pumpkin seed for young kids and there is an occasional Large Mouth bass to be had as well. The water at the dock is only about 2 feet deep so it does not lend itself to jumping off the dock or great swimming right at the house. That is the only thing that I would change about this property. My Family and I loved the home and the location and would stay here again in the future.

My husband, two older children and my parents spent a week at this location. The house was extremely clean with a first class feel to it. The views were beautiful and serene. Great place for relaxing and to re-connect with the family. The house holds six adults at a maximum so it was perfect for our family but I would not recommend renting for a larger group. The location was on a quiet part of the lake and although it was connected to a boys camp there was very little noise other than a bugle for a few minutes every morning around 8 or 8:30 am. The owners, who live next door during the summer, were very accommodating and helpful.

This is an amazing home. My wife, our son and our elderly parents enjoyed a peaceful and beautiful week here last week. The home is finely furnished and the lay-out allows for both great family times as well as secluded private space. It sits right at the waters edge on a quiet, protected bay perfect for kayaking and swimming. There is good access to the main lake and we enjoyed hopping on our boat from the dock and motoring out to cruise around. The views are magnificent. The owners are very attentive, In all, a perfect lake vacation spot for a family that enjoys the quiet beauty of this splendid lake.

Hello, My husand, our 20 month old daughter and I rented this property for one week at the beginning of the season. The house is very clean and well appointed. Our daughter had a wonderful time playing in the water and exploring the property. The owners were very gracious and helpful throughout our stay, frequently checking in to make sure everything was okay and see if we needed anything. Lovely, private area of the lake with little to no boat traffic, except for the occassional fisherman or kayaker.

My family and I spent a week at this beautiful home last summer and had one of the best vacations of our lives. From the moment you first speak to the owners (Bart and Lynda), the whole experience could not be easier. The home itself is in an unbelievable location - close to (but not too close!) to other million dollar homes. It is kept meticulously clean throughout the whole stay and the only thing we had to do was enjoy ourself. We rented a boat from a marina (on recommendation from the owners), and kept it at the great private dock. There is also a canoe available. The views throughout the property are amazing! Private beach, and a private outdoor fireplace were great. There's also a huge deck with a gas grill. What more could you ask for? The owners were so helpful with recommendations on dining spots, boat trips, etc. They were the perfect guides when we needed information. The home itself is located near a children's camp, but we never heard anything other than the faint sound of bugles in the morning and occasionally children laughing. It is a great, heart-warming sound. Children never enter the property. I would recommend staying here without hesitation. When you stay here, you're not just going to have a standard lakeside vacation - you're going to have a singularly memorable experience that will end up being remembered for years to come. We will definitely be renting again (if they'll have us!!!).

My wife and I stayed here with our young children during the summer 2010. We had such a wonderful experience that we just booked again for this year. The house is clean and charming and sits right on the lake with great views of the mountains. In the background you hear sounds of the bugle and children laughing from the nearby camp. These are heartwarming sounds and the children never enter the property. We rented a boat for through a marina that the owner directed us to. The boat license was provided by the marina. Canoes are also available at the house as well as an grill and outdoor fireplace. We had a campfire one night with spectacular star-gazing and not a light in sight. Overall we had a great experience and we can't wait to get back.

We have stayed at this place several times, the owners are incredibly responsive and are local should you need travel / tour advice. A great location on the lake, away from the busier "touristy" spots, but close enough to amenities. The house is impeccably decorated and kept. It has a fire pit and it's own beach / dock, and is a wonderful safe location for children and families.

This property is amazing, surrounded by the lake and mountains, it's own beach, fire pit and dock, it is everything you need for a lazy lakeside getaway or a base for White Mountains exploration! My wife and I got married on the property! We cannot recommend the place enough, the owners are very responsive and are local should you need anything.
