This is a beatuful place to stay for a family gathering! Everything you need is withing walking distance and the home is very modern and well maintained. Our summer vacation was topped off by our stay at this amazingly comfortable home, blocks from a beautiful, family friendly beach. This home was the perfect place for our family; a well appointed kitchen, working grill, outdoor eating area, games, beach accessories for adults and children and an outdoor shower! We could not have been a happier group of four adults and two children. We walked or rode our bikes everywhere. The boogie boarding was great and getting to see the dolphins, each day, was magical. Night hikes on the trail in the marsh across the street, also magical. I would highly recommend this comfortable, clean home.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

The house was beautiful. 1 block from the beach. Roomy, great decor, well kept and fully stocked with beach towels, kayaks, beach chairs etc. Great outdoor space with bbq and quaint fireplace. The house is spacious enough for teenagers and adults to hang out and not be on top of each other. I took my 17 year old daughter and several friends. The girls had a great time. Kitchen was fantastic we had plenty of room to spread out and cook. Cabinets had everything we could think of and forgot to bring. We will be back again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

The house was a perfect vacation home. Well stocked with the right beach equipment and games to entertain. Excellent sleeping accommodations ( kids loved the bunk beds) and baths with a fun outside shower. Nice walk to a great beach.Recommended for: Families with young children

We have been coming to Carpinteria for years and have stayed in many different places. This by far, is the nicest, best laid out and spacious place we have stayed. A great location and beachy feel. The kitchen is nicer than the one at my own home and has everything you need. If we had a question the owner would respond within 10 minutes. We already have plans for coming back next year. I don't want to stay anywhere else but this home. 5 stars!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I rented this wonderful property for our 1 year wedding anniversary back in June. The weekend was everything I hoped it would be and more. "He" took the sea kayak out every morning for a paddle while I enjoyed my coffee and read on the back deck. Carpinteria is a wonderful town and this house made it that much more wonderful. Steps from the beach, we walked to everything downtown, all within a few short blocks.Farmers market on Thursday, with wonderful fresh produce, fruit and local wares. And guess what? We already booked the house again for next summer but this time with family and friends!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I rented this house for a weekend with some of our friends. We had the time of our life. The house was bautiful, clean, close to the ocean, and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We made many memories and can't wait to return. Gorgeous house with everything you need. The kitchen is a chef's dream. Only a block from the beach and the view to the estuary from the Master Bedroom is spectacular. It was very clean when we checked in. We loved the romantic outdoor fireplace and they even had sea kayaks for us to use complete with life vests and a dry bag. We wanted to stay longer but had to go back to the UK. What a great American beach vacation home. We hope to come back soon!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

My family and I stayed here for 10 days. The house was clean, comfortable, and in the perfect location. Just steps away from the water, we would take our coffee mugs with us and walk the beach every morning. The market is close by, or if you feel like dining out there are plenty of mom & pop restaurants walking distance for some good eatin'. We hope to come back in October for the annual Avocado Festival!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Absolutely amazing house and setup. The walk to the beach was only 3 minutes. The outdoor fireplace was a great way to wind down the day with a glass of wine. On the last night my family and I had a picnic on the beach at sundown. It isn't too often that I am able to rent a vacation property and it feel like I have been living there all my life.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My 2 month holiday of traveling California was coming up on it's last week when we arrived in Carpinteria. The house had great energy and was designed for relaxing. It was stocked with everything I needed, towels, sea kayak's, fire pit, and the GREATEST stove and cookware I have ever used. (my wife now thinks we should have the same setup in our house). All in all I hope this isn't my last stay in this house. This house was spacious and well-laid out, and was in a terrific location near the beach and the center of town. We spent most of our time outside or on the back patio because the weather was great, but we would have been very comfortable inside if it had rained all weekend as well.
