From the moment you enter the gates of Ho’oluana, which means ‘to relax’ in Hawaiian, you will know you are in paradise. A private tropical backyard welcomes you to our home.
Beautiful ocean views from the main living areas and master bedroom await you. Providing a peaceful Hawaiian holiday, our large oceanfront property is off the highway, making our home free from the road noise so many oceanfront North Shore homes experience. A large private grass lawn shaded by palm trees extends up to the seawall, which provides an ideal location for barbecues as well as lawn games. Steps from the seawall lead to the water where you can swim and snorkel year round.
We are located in the quaint town of Hauula, on the Windward Coast of Oahu. Ho’oluana is a 35 miles scenic drive from the Honolulu Airport, Waikiki Beach and Pearl Harbor. The North Shore offers snorkeling, swimming, diving, fishing, windsurfing and, of course, surfing. The Polynesian Cultural Center is only two miles away, Kualoa Ranch and Turtle Bay Resort are within 10 miles and the Banzai Pipeline is just a bit farther. We recommend a trip to Waimea Falls Park or an afternoon visiting the charming town of Haleiwa where you can enjoy a glider ride, boutique shopping or sample the best shave ice on the island.
Ho’oluana is tastefully furnished. The open floor plan of the living room, dining area and kitchen provides uninterrupted ocean views and is air conditioned. Our kitchen, with stainless appliances and granite counter tops is a cook's dream. You can dine indoors or on the covered lanai. Our three lovely bedrooms were designed for your comfort. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds, the other offers two twin beds. The air-conditioned master bedroom enjoys a private bath and an oceanfront deck. A sofa bed provides additional sleeping space, making our home very comfortable for groups of 6 to 8. Small multi-generational families love it.
We purchased, remodeled and furnished our home in 2010 so you will enjoy the benefits of a 'new home' with the charm of old Hawaii. High speed wireless internet access, unlimited US calls, a washer/dryer and two TVs provide all of the comforts of home. Nearby there is a grocery store and several restaurants.

This home is a beautiful place to have a relaxing stay! We would recommend to anyone who is looking for something other than the big hotel/resort experience but still wants to be comfortable. The beds were comfy the house clean and the yard/views breathtaking. The location, out of the city but close enough for a day trip or two was perfect for us.Thankyou so much for a wonderfully memorable Hawaiian vacation. This was our first time renting a vacation home and we were happy overall with the experience. IF you are looking for a great deal on a fabulous home this is it!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This house was even better than advertised. The house was fantastic and the view was breathtaking. Our family loved every minute of it and never wanted to leave. We were really happy that we decided to stay on the north shore, rather than in Waikiki as you do not get the real Hawaii experience by staying in Waikiki. The north shore is beautiful and you will be disappointed if you don't stay there. Thanks Debbie for helping us with the admin side and for providing such a wonderful vacation home. We had many friends and family asking about it and we hope to be back some day. Mahalo from all of our family!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

We spent 8 nights here and we were sorry we didn't book another 8 nights. Great house, clean, plenty of room, private, and a nice yard that leads to the ocean! And check out the hammock - wow!!! Owners were quite helpful, timely on responses, timely on return of security deposit. If it wasn't for people like this, we would have had to stay in an ugly, high rise condo on Wakiki.... and I would rather gnaw off my right arm before I would do that. So check out this house, you will fall in love with it, the ocean and the island itself!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Enjoyed our stay. It was our second visit to Oahu. In contrast to the crowded beaches and streets filled with tourist shops in Waikiki, it was nice to visit a part of the island that seemed like what the old Hawaii would have been like years ago. From the house we went to some nice uncrowded beaches where you could swim. The house is very relaxing with a large lawn going straight to the ocean. It was a great space for the kids to play in. The house is air conditioned and very clean with a good kitchen. We would stay here againRecommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
