  The resort itself was pretty nice. It had a nice parking garage (although unfortunately the elevators were down so that created some inconvenience) and the staff were very friendly. There is a restaurant with good food that we visited a couple of times and a hoppin' bar. We noticed that we were one of the only resorts with a bar and it was always alive with fun music that we could hear on the beach. The only downside is that there were four elevators and half the time only one was working, but we managed. The room itself was very nice. There were two double beds and a tv (which we never even used) and the side view of the ocean was great. The bathroom was a bit on the gross side (as in there were foreign hairs already in the clean towels and the floor was a bit dirty). There was no toilet paper, luckily we brought our own just in case. We also weren't sure what to do with our dirty towels. Since it was a privately owned room, we left them because we werent sure if the resort staff took care of that. There was an iron and ironing board which came in handy multiple times, and the vaccuum was great at the end of the trip because of all the sand. There were two small trashcans which werent very much for all the trash we used, so I would recommend bringing some trashbags as well. There was a mini fridge and a microwave (we didnt need the microwave) but it was all very nice. There were three of us and it accomadated us very nicely. The only other thing we had a problem with when we first arrived was the lock. We couldn't figure out how to open the door after entering the key code, so be sure to inquire with the owner about that. We eventually figured it out, but I would rather not say on the review! Overall, our experience was very nice and I would defintely recommend this room and owner again!!!! It was a great price for seven nights and a pleasant experience despite the minor flaws!

  We stayed at this room for a week with our daughter for her dance competition. We LOVED the view from our balcony! The room was nice, but my husband is taller and he didn't fit on those beds well and he said the beds were to soft. I think overall though for the price, you couldnt have asked for anything better! Oscar was very nice and always got back to us right away on questions we had about this property. So, thank you for that. Overall, I think we would stay there again or if there is another property he has, we would enjoy working with him. Thank you, The Miller family

  Basically a two bedroom hotel room with the benefit of being right on the ocean. Not fancy by any means, but clean, safe, and all the advertised amenities. Bathtub replacement would up the experience greatly, but certainly functional. Nice balcony view of ocean and pool. South end of MB means much less traffic headache. Plenty of eating options in Market Common or further south in Surfside, Garden City, or Murrell's Inlet. Lots of parking (elevator in parking garage separate from elevator bank to rooms, but if you go to top deck, you can see your car from unit - drawback is exposure to hot sun, but nice to have sense of security - no issues with security, just my need as a single female). Short walk down the beach to dining, sailboat rental, Springmaid Pier and MB State Park. Oscar was easy to work with, followed through on everything. Very grateful to have affordable, enjoyable weekend visiting my parents who reside in MB.

  great rate, beautiful room…. the beach was amazing and the service was fantastic! would do it again in a heartbeat.

  My wife and I went from March 3rd - 10th 2012. The price was awesome. The location was at the very end of South Myrtle Beach, so each time we wanted to go out, we spent 25-35 minutes driving to go eat since all the nicest places we wanted to visit were in North Myrtle Beach. The room is average hotel grade with NO services. We had to go buy toilet paper since we had only one roll at our arrival. The bathtub needs attention as if the wood underneath was rotten... Good for showers, but not for baths... The carpet needed also to be washed thoroughly... Other than that it was great... The room is just like a hotel 2 double bed room. The matresses and pillows were very comfortable. They had an electric stove top that we weren't aware they had. Still pretty close to Broadway at the Beach (10-15 min car ride). The outdoor pool was closed and the indoor was not that appealing... But what to expect at that time of year. The pros were that it was on the beach (for summer), the owner was pretty helpful, the view was pretty good but not ocean front. I liked the airplanes (close to the airport) but for certain people, it could be a con. Well that's it... Hope it helped.

  We found the property to be a perfect fit for us. When we walked into the room, we were pleasantly surprised! It was even better than we expected! Right price, great location, and clean. The room has obviously been recently updated with new carpet, paint, and furniture. The bathroom has recently been updated as well. The condo is only steps away from the beach. We found this beach area to be much less crowded than other areas. It is located near restaurants, near the Market Common, the Grand Strand Mall, as well as numerous shops. Oscar was a pleasure to work with. He was prompt in his responses, and fulfilled all of his promises. I am always nervous about renting property from someone I have never met in person, but Oscar was trustworthy and honest, kind, and professional. We would definitely stay here again! Oscar, thanks for taking care of us, and providing us with a great place to stay!

  There are some bad reviews posted about this property. Based on my experience, they are bogus. I rented directly from the unit owner and had no problems at all. The Owner was quick to respond upon my initial contact and was very personable. The room was very well kept. I don’t think you will find a better or more accommodating person. He genuinely cares and wants you to enjoy your stay. The front desk staff were all quite nice as well.

  We spent Spring break 2010 with our children at the M Grande Resort & Spa. This room had a good side Ocean view. Very nice furniture and fixtures with upgraded granite counter tops. Was well within walking distance to Springmaid Pier where there is fishing, gift shop and Diner. Hot tub, pub or bar was not up and running yet but it was first week in April. Heated indoor pool came in very handy on the cooler evenings. We were able to swim until late night. Exercise room and sauna was nice, we visited them daily. Pool table was in foyer of lobby level. No charge to play pool. Clerks and staff were very friendly. Covered parking deck. The owner of this property was extra friendly and super nice to deal with. He went out of his way to answer any questions we had and to make sure we had a great vacation. I would recommend this property to all of my family, friends and co-workers. I look forward to booking our next vacation with this owner.
