Romantic Serendipity Too is a log home nestled on a mountain ridge in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains, just minutes away from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Cades Cove and provides a private peaceful location perfect for your romantic getaway or weekend escape. Our cabin is located in a log home community called Sky Harbor, accessed from the King Branch Road exit just a couple of minutes drive southeast of Pigeon Forge on Parkway 441 going up the mountain toward Gatlinburg. All cabins are owned individually, as opposed to being part of a resort. You can expect to drive 5 to 10 minutes from the Parkway up to the cabin. The closest Trolley Stop is located at the Gatlinburg Welcome Center, just a few minutes farther southeast from the King Branch Road exit on Parkway 441. Click on our map link to see exactly where Serendipity Too is located and you can zoom out to see Pigeon Forge (about 5 minutes northwest from the King Branch Road exit) and Gatlinburg (about 10 minutes southeast).
Enjoy the tranquil relaxing breeze from the Cracker Barrel rocking chairs and bench on our back porch as you view the beautiful Smoky Mountains setting. Let our cabin transport you from the every-day hustle and bustle to a place where you may refresh and renew. You will enjoy the privacy and peacefulness here, since each home is on an acre lot and the nearest cabins are at least 100 feet away on either side, or 500 feet up or down the mountain. The back deck has privacy blinds and lattice that keep others from seeing you when you’re enjoying the hot tub. The mountain view from our front porch expands across a valley to another mountain ridge covered with trees and other cabins. There’s no other cabin directly in front of or behind Serendipity Too. Our large porch swing hangs beneath the back deck with full afternoon sun and splendiferous sunset views.
As you enter this cozy chalet style cabin you will find vaulted ceilings with a large river rock gas fireplace, a 32' TV with DVD/VCR player, a new rustic sofa with queensize sleeper and stereo with AM/FM/CD player in the open great room. The fully equipped kitchen includes a large round glass and wrought iron table with four comfortable chairs. You will be pleased to find there are plenty of silverware, utensils, pots & pans, cassarole dishes, cook and bake ware, appliances and Black & Decker coffee maker and toaster oven, plus darling dishes with a snappy rooster theme.
In the master bedroom you will find the Queen Anne Jacuzzi tub for two, perfect for a romantic evening with your honey. You will also have a sturdy queen size log bed with stylish comforter and snuggly linens, an oak armoire for your clothes and a TV with DVD/VCR player. This Master Suite opens out to the private deck where you'll enjoy the secluded wooded setting. All linens and towels are provided for your convenience.
Upstairs In the loft you have your own personal 3-in-1 bumper pool / poker / table, plus another TV with DVD/VCR and a large convertible queensize sofa bed. You will never have to leave this lover’s paradise to have a great time! On the large back deck you will have a huge hot tub comfortable for 4 or 6 people, plus rocking chairs and a loveseat to enjoy the mountains with your special someone. You will have complete privacy with brand new blinds and lattice that surround the deck plus romantic lighting strung inside the porch!
Serendipity too has lots of adorable and romantic decorations and floral arrangements including hearts, angels and roosters and is bright and cheery with lots of windows for viewing the mountains. There is a full bathroom with tub and shower, plus a separate laundry room. There’s even an ironing board, iron and hairdryer! Amenities include Wireless Internet, Cable TV with network stations and movie channels plus free local telephone service.

Owner response: We are thrilled to receive feedback from our repeat guests! This review is from our first family to stay at Serendipity Too immediately following the cabin's complete restoration early 2012. The unplanned-for 3-month-long project was difficult, but worth it!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was furnished with everything we needed. Everything was set up nicely, and you couldn't even tell that it was a pet friendly cabin because everything was so clean and tidy. We really appreciated being able to take our two dogs; they enjoyed the vacation, too!! Our only complaint is that the bed is WAY too small. I think it was advertised as a queen, but my husband and I really think it was a full-sized bed. We are used to a king, so it being that small made a huge difference and it wasn't a comfortable closeness.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway.
Owner response: We are pleased to confirm the log bed in our master bedroom is queen-sized, as are all the provided linens. Additionally, there are queen-size sofas that open into fold out beds in the living room and loft.

The cabin was exactly what we needed and provided a nice retreat before the holiday hustle. The location was quiet, but fairly close to everything we wanted to get to. Easy access to the Park and to the shopping. We definitely recommend this rental if you're headed to the Gatlinburg area.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway.
Owner response: We are thrilled you enjoyed your romantic getaway at Serendipity Too! The cabin is beautifully decorated for the holidays and has openings in January for last minute visits for after-Christmas deals in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg & on Glades Road, which is minutes away.

Excellent Cabin, secluded, and pet friendly. Keep an eye out for Bears.. We had one walk witin 10' of the back deck!! The cabin was very well set up, clean, and comfortable. The lighting on the back deck was awesome, and the hot tub was a great addition to come "home" to after a long day of hiking in the mountains. The Owners do a wonderful job of provding great directions to the cabin, and we would gladly book this place again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

From the moment my husband and I walked into the cabin we knew we were in the right place. It had a presence of peace and calm that was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was very clean and well taken care of. Everything we needed was right there. The drive to the mountains and town of Gattlinburg was not bad. It was far enough away to have solitude, yet close enough that it didn't take long to get anywhere. The owner's' were helpful and kind. We loved our stay at Serendipity Too and would reccomend this cabin for anyone who is looking to get away and reconnect with the one they love!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

My wife and I rented this cabin at the last minute when we realized our current accommodations weren't sufficient for the size of our traveling party. The homeowner was fantastic at coordinating our stay, given the short notice. The Cabin was beautiful and all amenities listed were there. The kitchen had all the items needed to cook and serve meals. This was great for family dinners. I would definitely choose Serenity Too again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We enjoyed our stay at Serendipity Too. Well maintained property, lovely plantings around the cabin. We were ready to hire the owner to come help decorate our own home. Lots of lovely touches. Just two of us, so totally roomy. Took our puppy and he thoroughly enjoyed his walks around the non-busy streets. Took our motorcycle in a trailer and were challenged by not being able to store it in the trailer if we parked the trailer properly. The cabin truly was back in the hills and hollers, but not too secluded. Neighbors around, but still totally private.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners.
