  We were surprized on how big the house was once we entered it on our first day. The bedrooms were great for my family. My grandkids loved the pool,ages 3-2-1. Everything we needed was supplied to us. Thanks for the geat time.

  We stayed at this rental last summer. The house was very comfortable for multiple families. We loved the infinity pool. Rental company was very accommodating. Our family would definitely stay at this house again!

  Our family had a great time at water front pool home. The pool was excellent and we were about a 5 minute walk to the beach. Our grandchildren really enjoyed the pool along w/ the rest of us. Very good location- we were walking distance to restaurants and other activities.

  We arrived tired and were plesantly suprised by this home we booked, not only was it close to all the area had to offer but it was a large private home, with pool, located in the heart of clearwater's south beach! Kids loved the pool and fishing off the dock at the home, my wife loved the large kitchen. would recommend this rental to anyone, we will be back next year for sure.

  We just recently stayed in this home in May, and were quite disappointed. First of all, it is advertised as a 5 bedroom. The 5th bedroom is about 50SF! No closet. The room feels like a large closet, with a children's bed. The 4th bedroom is open to the 3rd bedroom, so it is really part of a bedroom suite. I guess it would be good for children, but for adults it affords no privacy. My other beef was that the home theatre was more substandard than any I have seen in a home of this type. Super cheap components, and very, very poor sound quality. Next, an animal was messing up the pool every morning. We alerted the management, and it took 30 hours to get the pool company, or anyone for that matter, to come out. So, 3 of the 6 days we were there, we barely had use of the pool. Management told us they had alerted the owner right away, but it seemed the owner is not very concerned about his guests who are paying good money for his home. In addition the barbeque worked one day, then puttered and barely heated anything up all the other days, though there was plenty of gas. Just another very cheap piece of equipment. The home is decent, and the location is great. But, all in all, I would not recommend this rental. Find another owner with more pride.

  Owner response: Rental company response: All previous tenants have rated this property as excellent or very good. This is the first review to rate this property as either acceptable or below standard. Let me take a moment to respond to the points outlined above. Regarding the number of bedrooms, the 5th bedroom referred to was originally an office. Since an office would not make much sense in a vacation rental it was decided to install a trundle bed providing sleeping space for kids. The two bedrooms off of the kitchen have a queen bed each and the bedrooms are separated by a short hall, a “Jack and Jill” with no door(s) between the two bedrooms. They both share a full bath accessed via the hallway. The other two bedrooms are large with king beds and ensuite, full baths. The TV/sound system consists of a 42 inch flat screen TV connected to a DVD player. In addition, there is a stereo amplifier that provides sound for FM radio and the TV via speakers built in to the ceiling of 5 different rooms of the house, including the living room. It was never intended as a home theater and has not been advertized as such. Unfortunately, during their stay, there was some sort of animal/bird that entered the pool. The pool has a large shelf about 4 feet wide and the full width of the pool and about 6 inches deep. After the tenants called we contacted the owner immediately and he contacted the pool service that he uses immediately. They come out once a week to service the pool. They were not able to respond in a timely manner, we agree. The owner is currently looking for another pool service company. We went out to inspect the BBQ grill early in their stay and did find that the flame level was very low in spite of a full tank. By unscrewing the valve and re-attaching it to the tank we were able to return the flame adjustment so it could be set high or low. There was no report of any further issue from these tenants nor from subsequent guests. This owner has spent a lot of time and money to ensure that his guests enjoy a quality vacation experience, one especially that caters to large groups and families.

  We came here to raise the world Ironman championships and had a fantastic time. The weather improved and we had beautiful weather for our race.   Dear Pete and Susan, We really enjoyed our "staycation" your house is great!! Pools not bad either (ha). My grandfather says its history next year, he had such a nice time and was so comfortable.
