Ideal beach cottage just a short five minute walk to Wades Beach. Located in highly desirable Shorewood, this house is situated on one acre of land with plenty of privacy. Enjoy the expanse of the surrounding secluded property from the house which is perched on a small hill top surrounded by mature foliage.
The cottage has been completely renovated and updated including a new central air conditioning system. It has hardwood floors and and a new kitchen which was completed. The furnishings are all recently new and provide amble comfort. The living/dining room is large area with a cathedral ceiling.
Take pleasure in your morning coffee on the covered front porch or spend the afternoon lounging on the back deck or hammock nestled between the trees in the expansive front yard. The house is situated in a convenient location close to the South Ferry and Mashomack nature preserve yet within walking distance to a town boat launch and Wades Beach. Note the house is rented on the basis of a minimum of one (1) week to as long as Memorial Day to Labor Day or on a month basis. We do not entertain weekend or two-day rentals so please refrain from making an inquiry if all you really want is a weekend etc.. We also rent during the off season; May, September & October.
