It's a PRIVATE HOUSE, which means the POOL IS FOR YOUR USE ONLY (no sharing with everyone else in a condo bldg). The pool is professionally maintained three times a week, so is sparkling clean and ready for you and your family!
The 4' deep plunge pool in the pretty backyard provides a fun entertaining space the whole family will love. With its built-in benches, the pool is a great place to hang out and cool off.
There are no hidden costs with Casa Playadise! Parking, cleaning, laundry facilities, on-call bilingual agent, utilities, taxes are all included, so the price you see is the price you pay.
Located three blocks from lively 5th Avenue, the two-bedroom house is an easy stroll from the best beaches in town. Casa Playadise is in a safe residential neighborhood, and quiet at night.
Private off-street parking, free internet, satellite TV, and laundry facilities are all on site. Maid service twice a week is included.
The bedrooms are individually air-conditioned, with extremely comfortable orthopedic queen beds, piles of hypo-allergenic pillows and high thread count linens. And there's a double sleep sofa in the living room.
For in-house entertainment, free internet and satellite TV services are provided, along with a flat screen TV, DVD player, and CD player.
The house is efficiently air-conditioned and, with ceiling and floor fans throughout, you will always be cool and comfortable.
The pressure water system provides a great shower in the upstairs full bathroom. Downstairs there is a two-piece washroom with full-sized washer and dryer (including supplies), so you can pack and carry less.
In the spacious backyard, you'll find a gorgeous, brand new plunge pool built to professional standards, with bench seating along two sides and perfectly maintained for your enjoyment. There is also a large barbeque, along with tables and chairs.
The complete kitchen, with a full-sized fridge, stove, microwave and lots of appliances, has everything you'll need, including a full set of chef's knives.
Our attentive English speaking agent will welcome you on arrival. At a competitive cost, private airport transfer is available (e.g. van for four or five, USD$70 one way). Cell phones are available for a small weekly rental.
The best beaches and popular beach clubs are just down the street. Located on wide stretches of cool white sand, they are great places to spend the day, or just pick a spot and settle down on the open public beaches. We even include towels and a beach umbrella!
Close by are the beautiful eco-parks Xcaret and Xel-Ha, as well as Akumal, the famous turtle nesting site, and the stunning Mayan archeological sites at Tulum, Coba, and Chichen Itza. Dazzling fresh water cenotes dot the nearby jungle and the fabulous scuba-diving island of Cozumel is just a ferry ride away.

An owner-occupied house tells you a high degree of comfort will be found in Casa Playadise! Bill and Caroline Page from Ontario Canada, are long-time Playa del Carmen lovers and we happily spend months each year in our second home, Casa Playadise.
During the remainder of the year, the house is available for rental.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We were retiring and first thought a Caribbean island would hold our ideal second home. But when we visited Playa del Carmen, we realized here was our dream: a lively town on the mainland, with literally thousands of remarkable attractions within very reasonable distances, absolutely gorgeous beaches and the turquoise Caribbean sea.
Playa has grown tremendously, but since we are in the Colonia Centro, we are close to all downtown and beach locales - terrific shopping, wide white beaches, incredible food and drink choices and some of the best people-watching on the planet! Top-notch public and private transportation options means the numerous destinations of the Riviera Maya and Yucatan Peninsula are all within easy reach as well.
