Our condo is a 950 sq. ft. 1 bed 1 bath, with custom made furniture, and has a large futon in the living room. There is a/c in both rooms. The condo over looks the pool as well as Los Perros point, it is a fickle wave but when it is on it is on! Panga Drops is a reef break that is about a three minute walk down the beach and a little further down is Playa Colorado a world class beach break. All three breaks offer phenomenal waves! There are many other waves in the area, just a short trip away but you may not want to leave because the best are right out in front of you!
Hacienda Iguana is a beautiful, well manicured, gated community that is very secluded and peaceful. We have a membership for your use of the 10 hole golf course, beachfront pool, clubhouse and volleyball net located in the resort. We have on site, english speaking management that will help set you up on activities and accomodate you in any way you need. Some of the activities they offer are; horseback riding, boat trips, surf trips, fishing, surf lessons, surf board rental, taxis, yoga, golf cart rental, massage, manicures and Nicaraguan musical entertainment. They will do anything they can to accommodate you. They can even have a boat pick you up directly behind the condo for a fish/surf trip (if the waves aren't too big). Just along the beach and the area surrounding you will find plenty to explore.

There is a golf membership that comes with the rental for discounted golfing on the beautiful 10 hole golf course in the resort. We bought this condo in 2009 after one trip down, we instantly fell in love with it, you will understand why when you get there. My father and I own the place, I am Zach, my dad is Andy. We are from Houston Texas.
Why the Owner Chose Tola
We bought at this location because the waves are world class, the beach is absolutely stunning, awesome sunsets and the people are very friendly.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
You will have direct access to Playa Colorado as well as the other breaks on the beach. Otherwise you would have to take a boat to get here because it is a private community. This is the only one bedroom for rent in iguana.

This unit was very comfortable size-wise for two people. The managers were responsive when we had questions or concerns. The unit had most of the amenities listed. There was no barbeque grill at the condos. The unit was clean. There were few pictures on the VRBO listing, but they did accurately reflect the appearance of the unit. The pool was well-maintained, but did get busy on the weekends. There were some loud parties on the weekends that would continue into the early morning hours. Some guests at other units brought barking dogs which detracted from the enjoyment of our stay. This is a beautiful beach area. The sound of the surf lulls you to sleep each night. There are several good restaurants outside the main gate. A car or driver would be needed to get to most of these places. Be sure to buy anything you need in Rivas or Tola before you drive to Hacienda Iguana. You will find no shopping close by which is part of the charm of rural Nicaragua.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

This condo is great!!! The owner is super easy to deal with and the unit is stocked with everything one could ask for in the perfect beach vacation. The condo location is perfect - ocean front with a super nice outdoor pool and shower area. The surfing offers Panga Drops which is a real fun break very close - less than a minute walk. The barrels at Colorados another break within easy walking distance - less than 5 minutes - from the unit offers some of the best barrels in Central America particularly May - August. The owner has a super reliable,friendly, and easy to get a hold of couple as property managers which live within the resort. This unit offers a no worries vacation. Everything works properly and the furnishings/bedding etc. is super nice. My wife is not a surfer but loved the nature walks/jogs on the jungle paths where monkeys, tropical birds, and even a nesting turtle were sited. She also loved the super nice pool, daily beach front yoga sessions, and long walks on the beautiful beach. The condo has a super nice patio area with chairs/table to take in the sun sets over the Pacific. Perfect for nature lovers, surfers, and people looking to decompress from the daily grind!!!
