Our experience at this apt and in dealing w/Fiora and Nur were all we (4 adults) needed & wanted. Our time in Rome pre-cruise was fabulous. The location was great & as others stated many conveniences were w/in walking distance. The WIFI was free and speed was great. this allowed us to keep in contact w/home and was a great plus. We had a few minor complaints: the shower upstairs had "major" water pressure issues & @ times there was NO water. This was very annoying when trying to get up and ready for a long day site-seeing. There were many "spit-shine" baths. Not a great way to start our long days. Also, as stated there were not enough wine glasss for 4, but the complimentary wine from Fiora (tyvm) was enjoyed in tumblers and tasted just fine ! :) LOL. The apt was well cared for and was a serene retreat after long days in the streets of Roma. The views were spectacular from all the upstairs terraces. We were told that the neighbors won't allow short term renters anymore, as "noisy Americans" disturb the permanent residents. I felt very uncomfortable hereing this on our arrival, but totally understoond the warning. We were a traveling family of 4 adults and were in by 10pm most nights. We took special care to enter and leave quietly and follow all the rules, however w/such an old building, concrete steps and multiple doors the echos did make even us "church mouses" sound loud. It's a shame other short term visitors will not get to experience this wonderful place. Whomever resides here is in for a most pleasurable stay. Best wishes, Fiora and grazie for letting us share your rental home. Arrivederci !

Our stay at this beautiful and extremely well located property was excellent. It was full of light and beautiful plants and great views of Rome--including a dramatic view of St. Peters. Fortunately, the air-conditioners worked very well and the apartment was always a welcomed relief from the July heat. We had a total party of 6 (including our daughter and 3 grandchildren and were very comfortable. Fiora was responsive to our needs and even had our clothes laundered and ironed when the washing machine temporarily broke down. She even brought us a bottle of delicious red wine made by her husband! The only suggestion we have is that there could be more pillows available. It was a totally positive experience!

The apartment was wonderful and very clean. The owner's assistant met us upon arrival and answered all our questions. The check-in/out was quick and easy. My wife and I stayed with our 3 young children and Aunt and there was plenty of room for all. The bedrooms were very nice and plenty of towels and basics for the stay. No issues with any of the appliances. The first floor is the kitchen, bath and living area and then about 12 steps up to the 3 bedrooms and another living room on the second floor. The view was awesome and best of all the A/C (we stayed in July and it was HOT) was wonderful. The area couldn't be beat and was close to many dining or shopping options and felt very safe and comfortable. Having a car is not recommend in the area as it is in the city center and you A. have to time it right to drive in without being fined and B. can't park anywhere. Highly recommend.

A very nice apartment with a great location--almost any place in the historic center was walkable and there were a number of restaurants and a small grocery store within a five minute walk. Fiora was very easy to work with and made the arrangements and check-in/check-out process very easy. Water pressure in the shower was very low, and although many instructions were provided for various appliances, it was not clear how to run the washing machine, and the coffee maker did not work properly. In spite of that, we'd stay there again in a minute!

This apartment is on a lovely and safe street, directly across from a beautiful church. The apartment is clean and spacious with three balconies and two living areas. The kitchen opens to the largest balcony area and we spent lovely afternoon breaks here. Fiora and Nor were both helpful and arranged a wonderful driver for our daytrip to Pompeii. Here are the things we wish we had known: The elevator takes you to the 4th floor and you must walk the stairs to the 5th floor, not a big deal unless stairs are a problem for you and you are expecting the elevator as described in the listing. Downstairs Bathroom (Bathroom 1 in photos) has a tub with a handheld shower head but functions very poorly as a shower – no curtain or glass. While the shower head can hang from a hook on the wall, the water falls mostly on the ledge of the tub. As a bathtub it is suitable for children only, as it measures only about 3 ½ feet long. Take heed that there are no photos of two of the bedrooms. One comes with one twin bed and another single, cot-width bed and the room is bisected by a very low, angled beam. The other has a queen bed on a low frame, nearly on the floor and this room has a trellis as a wall that opens loft-like to the downstairs. This room is only about 7 feet wide, it has very little privacy and is open to all sound in the apartment so whenever anyone is awake in the morning, so too are you if this is your room. This is a charming apartment in a terrific location, a few blocks from the Tiber, an easy walk to Piazza Nuvona, and a long walk to the Vatican; just be aware of some inconveniences.

My family spent the days following Christmas through New Years at this property. We enjoyed it thoroughly. The location was perfect, characteristic of the old neighborhoods of Rome with small shops and the Campo di Fiori near by. We were 4 adults and were quite comfortable in the apartment. It is as described, well stocked and well maintained. Fiora and her assistant were quite helpful. But the very best part of the stay was New Years Eve. We could hear the singing from the Vatican from the top balconey and at midnight we were surrounded by fireworks! A New Years eve we will never forget. I highly recommend this apartment.

As a family of five experiencing Europe for the first time, this apartment did not dissappoint. The location was great, with lots of restaruants and shops nearby. We felt very safe and comfortable with the neighborhood and often went out for walks at night. The apartment provided our two teenagers and 20 year old with enough space for their winding down time at the end of a busy day touring Rome. The wireless internet worked very well and we were able to keep up with things back home. The kitchen allowed us to have breakfast in the morning before our daily departure and provided us with the flexibility of being able to eat in if we decided to do so. The unit was very clean and well furnished. The photos accurately reflect the apartment's appearance and amenities. We would recommend this property to anyone with a group/family of 5 to 8. The apartment is a penthouse unit, on the 5th floor. While there is a lift, it is small, and the stairs are the only other option. We did not mind using the stairs, but renters should keep this item in mind. In our opinion, the views from the various balconies far outweighed the flights of stairs. Finally, the 5th floor location makes for a very quiet stay.

We just returned from our Roman holiday and stayed 10 days in this apartment. The apartment is lovely and in a perfect location. August is perhaps not the time to go, however, as many Romans are gone and the antiques and design shops on via Montserrato (as well as other shops) are mostly closed, but the apartment is all we could have wanted and more. The 4 terraces make wonderful ambiance and light; the kitchen, living rooms, dining area, bedrooms are all light and very pleasant (note that one of the bedrooms is tiny and not particularly private). Looking at other rental options in Rome, this has to be one of the best for tastefulness, location and atmosphere. We loved being on 2 floors, the tons of windows, the huge pots of lemon, olive and other trees and plants on the shaded terrace, the modern kitchen, the view of the rooftops, the bells ringing in the hours at the nearby churches. Magical. Thank you Fiora and Nor!

Couldn't fault this apartment really. It's on the top floor of an apartment block and the lift is tiny, so if you don't like small spaces be prepared to climb lots of stairs! The location is perfect, within walking distance of all the major sights (10 minutes from Vatican City and Travastere, round the corner from Campo di Fiori (lots of places for coffee/breakfast), a few minutes walk to a supermarket. The apartment is set over two floors with the bedrooms being on the upper floor. There are two balconys and the views from the upper balcony are stunning. There are three double bedrooms, two with doubles and one with two single beds. We were 6 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone. The check in process went really well. The only minor niggle was that there wasn't enough mugs/glasses for 6 people (eg only 4 mugs, 4 wine glasses etc), but apart from that I would highly recommend this apartment. Would definitely return.

We stood 4 nights in this lovely apartment, very well situated, walking distance to all major attractions. There are a lot of restaurants around and a nice little shop from where you can buy everything you need for your stay. The administration of the apartment was very friendly and gave us few tips on what to visit and when.

Our family of 5 adults recently stayed at this apartment in the Piazza Navona area of Rome. We found the apartment to be in a perfect location for touring the city on foot. We were able to walk to all major attractions including the Vatican City. The neighbourhood abounds with restaurants and shops and felt very safe for walking even late at night. The 2 level apartment was sunny, spotless and very spacious, and included 3 separate balconies, one of which had a view of the dome of St. Peter's. We would not hesitate to recommend this accomodation. We did have a driver from the airport who was courteous, met us at the gate, and waited until Nur (owner's administrative assistant) met us at the door. The price agreed upon for this trip, (done with the email contract for the apartmet) was exactly what was charged. However, a different driver who took us to the train station on our departure demanded 15 Euros more than the agreed amount, so I would be very cautious to confirm any fares prior to accepting rides, even if with a private company. Please note that the drivers were recommended by, but not affiliated with the property owner.

Property in excellent location, within 10/15 min walk of Piazza Navona,,Campo de Fiori,Pantheon and good bus links to rest of sites.Clean and in good order.Fantastic views over rooftops of Rome.Dozens of bars/restaurants within Campo area and just across the river inTrastevere, can be pricey,so be selective or use Spar shops, several in area.Only 3 people allowed in lift at same time, but small price to pay for superb rooftop appartment.Fiora(owner) will sort out transfers at a reasonal rate.

My husband, sister, son, daughter-in-law and myself spend four nights in this lovely apartment. The location is wonderful. You can walk to all the points of interest and the plaza and market place just around the corner is a great place to get food to eat a few meals in, which is what we did. We felt the resturants we dissappointing, the food not as good as we expected and very expensive. The apartment was nice and a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing.

We had a lovely stay in this apartment in April with our 4 children. Fiora's communications before were helpful and Nor, her assistant, met us on arrival and was available for any queries. There are 3 bedrooms on the upper level and a sofa bed in each lounge. One of the bedrooms is partitioned off the lounge and not very private. This was not a problem for us. The kitchen was well equipped and there was olive oil, a selection of herbs, sugar, coffee as well as a bottle of water and a bottle of wine provided which was very nice. There are 2 bathrooms, the lower level has a small bath with shower attachment and the upper level has a shower enclosure. However the water power was not very strong, especially if water was being used elsewhere. The location was great. Lots of restaurants, cafes and a market within easy walking distance. We walked everywhere it was about 1/2 hour to the Colosseum at a gentle pace. Most other attractions were nearer than this. The apartment was clean and well-maintained. I would recommend this apartment and would happily stay there again.

The penthouse was better than the description and pictures. Spacious, clean, well kept and plenty of amenities. Fiora and Nur have great communication skills and provided excellent customer service. They arranged for pick up at the airport, the day trip to Pompeii, Sorrento, Positano and the Amalfi Coast and the late night tour of Rome. Our driver, Memo, was an absolute delight. It was like having your own personal historian. Location was superb. Close to restaurants, stores and the attractions-all within walking distance. This is very important due to health issues. Highly recommend this property. This is a great value for your money. We're a family of 5 adults.

In every possible way, renting this apartment was a positive experience. Communicating with the owner, the driver service that she arranged for us, the location, layout, size and amenities of the apartment could not have been better. And did I mention the fabulous fireworks display on New Years Eve, which we viewed from both inside and outside of this top floor apartment with wonderful full pane windows and rooftop patios? There was a full hour of what one in the US would call the Grand Finale in a typical US city sponsored July 4th celebration - happening simultaneously in 2-3 directions. It was unbelievable. Our family of 5 - all near or above 6' in height, was perfectly comfortable and happy to call this our home while in Rome. We had one small issue with the electricity, where the heating system had tripped a breaker. The responsiveness and courteousness displayed by the owner and her assistant in handling that issue was no less than perfect. If we are lucky enough to return, we will certainly search for this listing on VRBO again.

My mother, my two kids (14 and 12) and I stayed at this apartment for 5 nights. We had a wonderful time. The apartment was exactly as it looks in pictures...except better! It was very bright and clean and Nur (Fiora's assistant) was there when we arrived and she was very helpful. We LOVED the terrace on the main floor and spent so much time out there! The weather was perfect for enjoying the outdoor areas. The location is perfect and is within walking distance to SO many places. We really enjoyed the restaurants at Campo De' Fiori. We cooked a few meals in the kitchen which was very well supplied. The AC worked wonderfully. We will never stay in an hotel again in Rome if we are able to book this apartment. I have already recomended this apartment to friends and relatives.

The via Monseratto apartment is a modern penthouse on top of an old building in the area just south of Piazza Navone. The area is full of good restaurants and there's an outdoor food market 5 minutes away in the Piazza del Fiore. The apartment has lovely terraces, one shaded and one sunny to suit hot or cool weather. We sat and drank wine as we looked over the tiled roof tops and tried to identify the various churches we could see - St Peter's was easy ! It was great for a family vacation as it has one master bedroom, another small double bedroom that gives onto a terrace and a third bedroom with two single beds. Access to one bathroom is through the third bedroom. The other bathroom is accessed from the living room - the owner says she will be renovating this bathroom this year which is good because the shower here is not convenient. Everything is sunny, well kept and very clean. All the equipment is new and works well though it would be good to have more instructions for some of the machines. We were met at the airport by a taxi service which brought us to the door then a very helpful "greeter" let us in and explained how everything worked - both of these services made our stay much easier. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone.

The Penthouse Apartment was exactly as described in a great location. The all new appliances were a dream to use and the apartment was spotlessly clean. It is an easy walk to the Pantheon, dinner in Campo de Fiori is just around the corner and the Vatican is close by (in fact it's beauty can be seen from the balcony). The owner was very helpful and lovely and it was so nice to come back to the beautiful quiet haven after a day of sightseeing. This was the best apartment we satyed in on our trip to Europe.

We stayed here for a week at the end of April. 5 adults, two families. The location is very good, lots to see within walking distance, and the amazing 116 bus stops less than a minute walk away. The place was VERY clean, with two full baths, plenty of towels (no shower). Kitchen was more than adequate and everything worked. Washer/dryer was a combined unit. It was strange for us at first, but we got used to it. Arrangement of the rooms and bathrooms assume little need for privacy. It was not a big issue for us since we travel together a lot and are used to living together in small quarters. It may not work for larger groups, or groups that need more privacy. Firoa was a pleasure to work with, she is a professional and made us feel comfortable. If you need transportation to/from airport, the service she worked with was excellent. Our flight was two hours late, and the driver waited for us! We would consider staying here again.

Owner response: Thank you so much. I agree that changes are needed to ensure more privacy. In fact I'm considering that. It was a pleasure to have you guys as guest. Fiora
