We just spent a week at Villa Mariposa and had the most amazing experience! The villa is perched at the top of the hill overlooking the beach and the entire resort. The views are spectacular and the setting is so wonderfully serene. The bedrooms and baths were spacious and well designed and decorated - I think the outdoor shower in the master bath might be one of our favorite things, although the outdoor living area is tough to beat! There were four adults in our group, but it easily could have accommodated three couples, with plenty of privacy for each. The resort staff was beyond welcoming and accommodating, and we felt so well taken care of! A quick call down to the front desk had someone at our doorstep momentarily, so while at Villa Mariposa, we had the feeling of being in our own world, unless we needed something! :) I highly recommend Villa Mariposa and Hotel Punta Islita. Simply amazing experience all around!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
