NEIGHBOURHOOD AND LOCATION
The apartment is located right in Plaza España, one of the strongest touristic points in Barcelona. It is located in the base of the emblematic Montjuic mountain.
Starting from the “Plaza”, there is a fantastic walk over the road lead by the two famous “Venetian Towers”. The road leads you to the magnificent Palacio Nacional, the most emblematic building in Plaza España which was built in 1929 for the “Exposición Universal”. The building now houses the MNAC (Museo Nacional de Arte de Catalunya) which is worth the visit. The museum successfully explains the history of Catalan art from the Romanesque to mid-twentieth century.
In the summer there is a very special happening in Plaza España. It is about the Montjuic fountains that offer a magic show with music, water and lights; an experience which is worth living.
Continuing the route over Montjuic, there is also the Castillo de Montjuic (Montjuic Castle) an old fortification from the 17th century, now converted in to a military Museum with great views over the city of Barcelona.
Montjuic hosts many museums, theatres and palaces, including the Fundación Joan Miró which houses a permanent collection from the artist. Poble Español is another of the worth visit areas in Montjuic. It evokes some of the most important monuments in Spain.
In 1992 The Olympic Stadium in was renewed for the Olympic Games and nowadays is an area strongly related to sports and culture. Palau Sant Jordi with capacity for 17.000 people is one of the most spectacular buildings built for the Olympics. In the summer the Teatre Grec is an idyllic scenario for enjoying the best of the summer theater festival.

Nearby Metro: The building is 100 meters away from Metro “España” (L8, L1, and L3). Three stops by Metro to Placa Catalunya, 1 stop by Metro to Sant Estació. Walking to Sants Estació will take 5 minutes. Sants Estació in a neuralgic point of arrival/departure by train to/from the city.
The lounge has been decorated in neutral tones with reading chair, side lamps and a comfortable sleeper sofa (3 seats) with capacity for 2 sleeps (although we only accept one person sleeping in the sofa so we guarantee comfort).

From the master bedroom you have access to a private balcony with side view to Plaza España.
The second room has two single beds, reading lamps and a wardrobe.
The third room has 2 single beds in a loft bunk bed style with reading lamps and a balcony.
The first bathroom has a shower, washbasin, WC.
The second bathroom has a full bath with shower, washbasin, WC.
Apart from providing a complete set of kitchenware for 8 people, the kitchen is also fully equipped with:
Ceramic-plate cooker and oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee-maker (both electric and the traditional Italian one), micro-wave, washing and drying machine. The apartment also counts with security box for your private use.
