Keywords:  Secluded gated vineyard estate with an original farmhouse and cottage.

Escape for the weekend or plan a family vacation at our private vineyard located in Knights Valley between Napa and Sonoma, world-class wine regions with hundreds of wineries, outstanding restaurants, and farmer's markets. Amidst it's mountain surroundings, our vineyard is only 4-miles from Calistoga at the north end of the Napa Valley.

Our 102-acre property is a working vineyard with 20-acres of vines lined by our own olive grove and apple tree orchard. We harvest the grapes each fall to make our own gold medal Lawer Family Wines. Wake up to the sun sweeping over the vines and go to sleep under the stars. Though it's private, you can easily grab local roasted coffee and breakfast just minutes away in Calistoga.

The original 1940s farmhouse on the property is custom decorated and has 2 bedrooms each with a queen size bed and 2 bathrooms. The fully stocked kitchen is replete with everything you need to make a gourmet dinner with local ingredients picked up during the day. The adjacent cottage has 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, 1 queen size pull out couch, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, wood stove, and outdoor patio seating among the vines and olive trees.

With two kitchens on the property, you'll be all set to make large scale meals to celebrate holidays or special occasions with your family and friends. Start with appetizers outside overlooking the vines, play a game of bocce ball at sunset and toast the day with a great feast around the dinner table.

For larger groups, we have a nearby property that can be rented in conjunction or in addition to this property. Please see VRBO property #290025. It is a custom decorated 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom log house.

Fly direct to the Charles Schultz Sonoma/Santa Rosa airport from Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, or Las Vegas on Horizon Air. Walk off the plane, drive 25 minutes to our private vineyard property, and you'll be ready to start your vacation - unless you decide to go wine tasting along the way.

Our clan had an absolutely perfect weekend. Thank you! We tried to use and appreciated every amenity - cannon ball contest in the pool, dining outside, reading in the sun, napping in the shade and a much needed respite from the city!

Fantastic views! Loved the decor, the wonder beds, happy bird sounds and warm swimming pool! Family laughter around the dining room table was a treasure. We will return and have many more joyful memories. Thank you for sharing your house with us! Auntie from Maine loved the CA/Napa Valley experience!

What an incredible place. This is a perfect vacation spot for your family or a group of great friends who love to travel together. There is plenty of privacy for everyone and space to gather, cook great meals, and enjoy each other's company around the large dining room table. The kitchen is equipped for the gourmet chef in your party who loves to create, or venture out and enjoy local Calistoga cuisine from an array of restaurants that are sure to please everyone's palate. I stayed in the cottage and loved the privacy and comfort. Everything you needed was at your fingertips plus the Big House is just a few steps away. The only thing you will regret is leaving this beautiful place when it's time to head home. Enjoy your stay, we sure did!

This is a beautiful property with a great location only a few miles from Calistoga. The photos are great but it is even better in person! We loved the comfortable beds and having everything we needed.... right where we needed it. We will definitely return and will recommend this property to our friends! Thanks so much for a wonderful and relaxing vacation!

We spend a glorious week here in the fall with our friends from San Francisco. The house is wonderfully appointed. Great kitchen. Wonderful linens, beds, furniture, etc. The view is lovely. It's like sitting in the middle of your own private vineyard! Can't wait to go back next year with more friends.

What's not to love about this place! The farmhouse is so charming and one feels right at home the minute one enters. The country setting (not another house in sight) is very restful and private and is a great getaway from city life. My favorite spot is the wrap around porch with a view over the vines to the beautiful hills beyond. You can tell that the farmhouse is the part time residence of the owners - it's very well appointed and homey. The owners are very accommodating and helpful. Lots of space for a large family or two smaller families. The full kitchen in the guest house was really appreciated by my husband and I who are early risers. There was so much to do in the surrounding villages - great restaurants, wonderful boutiques and, of course, lots of wine tasting! We loved staying here and would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting to "get away from it all" and spend some time in wine country. We will certainly be back.
