We like to give you more information about our luxurious holiday house we have in our nicely situated villa at the picturesque village Saint François (37 kilometers from the airport, airport code PTP) on Grande Terre, well known for its dry, sunny climate, splendid lagoons, and white, sandy beaches on the beautiful, French, tropical island GUADELOUPE.

We live at the property and during your stay we can answer your questions and offer recommendations to make your Guadeloupe vacation perfect.

The house is situated only 1200 feet from the Atlantic Ocean, five minutes from one of the most beautiful lagoons in Saint François, "Les Raisins Clairs," tennis courts, and ten minutes from the impressive golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, many shops, casino, an airfield, a marina, close to surfing and windsurfing spots.

Nearby the house you will find a wide range of restaurants, from fast food to gastronomically restaurants. Visitors will be surprised by the large variety of our 'cuisine,' from the many seafood specialties (fresh fish, lambi, lobster, etc.), Créole cuisine, Indian cuisine, French traditional cuisine, 'Haute Cuisine' to 'Cuisine Nouvelle.'

Within one hour you arrive at the National Park, a natural reserve, biosphere with waterfalls (360 feet) and hot water springs. This magnificent sanctuary shelters one of the most beautiful forests in the Lesser Antilles. The Park's central zone represents over 42,000 acres, or 10% of the total surface of the archipelago and two-thirds of the tropical forest of Basse-Terre (the mountainous area covers over 74,000 acres). It streches over the entire summit of the mountain chain, from the dense-humid forest at 800-1000 feet (rainforest with ten to 25 feet of rainfall over one-year period), to the cloud forests with its Savannah's of lower summit vegetation, above an altitude of 3000 feet.

Over 300 varieties of trees and bush, 250 different varieties of ferns, and almost 100 varieties of orchids can be found here. There are no snakes or other dangerous animals at Guadeloupe.

In 15 minutes to half an hour from the apartments, you find the beautiful Grand-Fonds and mangrove forests. Nearby the apartments you will find several turquoise lagoons, withe sandy beaches, coral reefs, and a rich underwater plant live. These spots are ideal for diving and snorkeling to observe the many tropical fish.
Guadeloupe is more than an archipelago, it is a little world on its own!

A child's cot high chair and play ground available.
Bed linens and towels provided, just bring your beach towels!
