  Our family stayed at Perfect Daze for a fantastic family reunion week! We absolutley adored the house and the location! The best part was definately being on the canal and the very close beach access on 11th street. We have been coming to Sunset Beach for the last 15 years and this was our first experience staying on the canal. The access to the kayaks was a perfect bonus and we were so grateful to be able to use them! The screened in porch on the back was a beautiful setting for nightly dinners outside with a view of the canal and the sunset. Inside the house the kitchen and family room were very spacious and offered room to sit and relax for the many different family memebers we had coming in and out. The loft area with the stained glass window was breathtaking and the morning light that came through the window made it just that much prettier. The bedrooms were the perfect size for our family as well and very clean and comfortable. The crows nest just topped off this perfect house with great views of the canal and the sunrise and sunset. The owners were amazing to work with and our deposit was returned quickly. We will definately be returning to this property again and we highly recommend it!!

  Wow, we loved PerfectDaze!!! When we walked in, we were greeted with a bright, clean, open, wonderful, warm home. It was not just a beach house, we actually felt like we were coming home. By the 2nd day, we'd already decided we wanted to rent it again next summer if it is going to be available. The outdoor living space is so well thought out, that we spent as much time outside as in. The decks, the screened porches, the dock, and the hammock are just plain awesome. The crow's nest was one of our favs for watching the sunset, storms rolling in, Ocean Isle and the ocean (a few slivers are visible, but it is just enough). The house did not leave us without! The kitchen and baths were so clean, and the kitchen so well-stocked we just loved it! The loft was perfect , just for a little extra space if you needed it. The ONLY thing we might say is that the decorum could use some updating, but it really was totally fine!! The walk down 11th Street to the beach access right to the beach was easy! We have family who stay oceanfront each year, so we do have some advantage, but if we didn't it would still be easy. We enjoyed bike riding to Bird Island, and Tubb Inlet, and walks on the beach are simply incredible in the early morning. Our extended family and friends been visiting Sunset Beach since the late 60's. We have lots of very fond memories and we continue to make more with each new generation. We enjoyed the $1 walking history tour on the pier, which really drummed up some memories and reminded us how thankful we are to our Aunt and Uncle who discovered Sunset Beach. They knew the Gores and Kanoys, which is so cool! Thank you Clarks for helping us have yet another memorable time at Sunset Beach. We truly wish all could have this very special place and time in their lives. Sunset Beach is like a wonderful old friend, that is a true, dependable constant in our lives. We sincerely hope we get to come back to PerfectDaze in 2013!! MANY, MANY THANKS for such a wonderful experience. The entire rental experience was so easy, the owners were very informative, and easy to deal with, and they were very accommodating.

  My wife and I stayed here from October 9 - 16, 2010. The weather was beautiful and the house was great. Very clean, comfortable furnishings, nicely decorated and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed (even wine glasses). The layout of the home was perfect for two couples and 4 kids, although this time there were just the two of us. The location was excellent. This was our 10th visit to Sunset in 25 years, and the first time we were not ocean front. It was not a big issue, as it was less than five minutes to walk to the beach. The canal setting was very nice, with a large screened porch to enjoy the view. Another screened porch on the front of the house was great for coffee in the morning. Usually after a week, I am ready to come home, but the charm of Sunset Beach and Perfect Daze made me want to stay longer. The owners were great to work with and our deposit was returned quickly. We will definitely consider this property again for future visits and recommend it highly.
