This cozy home away from home is only ¾ miles to Oistins Christ Church and the beautiful Miami Beach. With access to all of Barbados beautiful south coast beaches such as Rockly better known as Acra Beach, Dover Beach, Silver Sands and Browns Beach, this gorgeous two, two bedroom duplex home is the perfect location for your family vacation, or a relaxing getaway. This home is situated only 30 yards from public transport and 150 yards from local amenities, as well as Oistins Famous Friday and Saturday Night Fish Fry
The house sits on a fenced in lot with a tiled back patio, ideal for enjoying meals outdoors on the picnic table or just lounging on the chairs under the umbrellas. The main floor has a front balcony, living room, dining room, kitchen and powder room. The top floor is equipped with front and back bedrooms each with its own balcony. There is also a bathroom on this floor that is fully supplied with towels and linens.
For your convenience, we have supplied the home with a radio, TV, DVD player and a large selection of movies. A rental car can be arranged ,and other kind of leisure activity according to availability can be arranged.

Live with the Island Folks and get in on the local action! You can walk to one of the nicest beaches in the world.The walk is down hill and easy but uphill on way back but a great view. Buy fresh fish and go back and BBQ. This is a beautiful home with all the amenities. The neighbours are very friendly and you can either mingle or relax on your own. There is always lots happening and not far from the property, Beach party and dancing almost every Friday and Sat., but can buy some beer a block away and put in the fridge and chill! You really can't beat the price for what you get, most other properties are 2 to 3x the price. The property was clean when arrived and you can arrange for a home cooked island meal if you like or do your own. Cleaning Lady was available if need for emergency and can request change of bedding mid week. This was one of the greatest weeks of my life and do plan on going again..hopefully soon! One really doesn't need a car, but if you prefer to have one talk to the owner. I got an international drivers licence just down the hill from the house and rented a care for 5 days and toured the Island, which is not very big. Visit a local distillery and take a tour..it.s fun. You can also take a tour of one of the Concords. The weather was great, the people were friendly and found this to be one of the best vacations ever!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

just to let u know place is getting better all the time leroy every time i go your doing upgrades, nice rear patio for relaxing clean comfortable air conditioned bedrooms ,will be back on feb21st,heard u are puttng in a 3rd bedroom thats great, flat screens to and aa whole lotta of soccer channels good stuff leroy always have a blast down there. see ya soon the gang from montreal canadaRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

I HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE OF STAYING AT THIS FINE RESIDENCE ON TWO OCCASSIONS. IT IS WELL EQUIPPED,A SHORT PLEASURABLE WALK DOWN THE HILL TO ONE OF MY FAVORITE BEACHES IN THE WORLD.(MIAMI BEACH ).THE HOME IS HALF A BLOCK AWAY FROM THE GROCERIE STORE, WHERE YOU CAN PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM LIQUOR, TO HARDWARE SUPPLIES,AND ALL THE GROCERIES AND SUPPLIES THAT YOU WILL NEED. THE HOME IS ON THE BUS ROUTE ,TO BRIDGETOWN,A 15-20 MINUTE RIDE,10 MINUTES TO THE ST.LAWRENCE GAP, WHERE YOU WILL EXPERIENCE SOME OF THE BEST RESTAURANTS IN THE CARIBEAN...BEST OF ALL ,IT IS LOCATED A SHORT 5 MIN WALK TO THE FRIDAY NIGHT FISH FRY IN OISTENS,THE BEST STREET PARTY AND DANCE IN THE WORLD...EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT....THIS PROPERTY IS CLEAN, SAFE,AND A VERY SHORT RIDE FROM THE AIRPORT..I CAN'T WAIT TILL MY NEXT VISIT,EARLY 2011...ENJOY IT,I ALWAYS DO...Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Why the Owner Chose Oistins:
I was born on the island of Barbados and I have relatives living there, I also have a good idea what the people are like ,and the area is central . I left when I was a teenager and lived and studied in England for a few years. I then moved to Canada where I currently reside and have lived here for approximatley 40 years. I like to travel and see some of the places I have learned about such as Europe, Asia, North and South America and The Caribean however, I find there is no place like Barbados I make it a point to visit there at least twice a year to recouperate from normal hussle and bussle of the North American life style. It is a place that when you visit once that you will want to return again, the food the people the sun the many beaches local entertainment the scenery speaks for itself. Why not share it with others .
