  The property is everything it is advertised as and then some. Beautiful walk out views and private beach with kayaks and surfboards. Loved the convenience of being close to all sites and activities, but then came home to solitude and peace.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

  This property was in the perfect location, just 10 or so min to waikiki , yet out of the city . Grocery stores and shopping near by. Studio was neat and clean , kitchen has pretty much everything you need . The property manger was helpful and quick with response on texts and emails. East Oahu is also just right around the mtn. beautiful beaches , drives and hikes. The weather was a little warm while we were there , no trade winds , and the unit does not have ac , like most homes on the islands, but there where plenty of fans through out the unit to keep the air moving. We had a great time !!

  I cannot say enough about this property! The beach is wonderful, larger than you would guess in the photos. The property is well appointed and spotless, the only thing missing is an oven, and who wants to bake in Hawaii anyway??? Grilling on the patio while watching the waves was perfect! It is easy to find, located in a very nice section of Honolulu near markets, restaurants, a pharmacy, water sports and only a few minutes from Waikiki. The kayaks, surf boards and other water toys were wonderful, as was the hot tub. The owners are great to work with and my only regret is that I did not take advantage of also booking a lesson at Ty Gurney Surf School. Whether you like to stay around the property and enjoy the beach or if you want to sight-see and tour Oahu this is the place for you. I plan to rent here again when I return, and if you have a larger group or need more space, the adjacent unit is also fantastic- it would be great for a larger group to rent both. I cannot wait to book this rental again!

  We had a great time. Very peaceful and tranquil with different things to do at house and Duncan the property manager was great at the house and down at the surf shop in Waikiki. I hope to return for sure! Close enough to the action but you can literally have Niu beach to yourself. The decor inside the Bali room is very cool. I was blown away!

  My family of 5 rented both units and we opened up the lanai doors for a great relaxing lanai experience. These units are both very cool inside! We liked that there was glass and plastic available for use in the kitchen. There were also beach towels provided!! The fold out bed in the couch has a blow up mattress, so it was a favorite of my teen son who often gets the "lumpy" mattress. We would rent one or both again!! It's located so that you get the feel of being on a secluded island, but only a few minutes to grocery stores, shopping and even better, downtown Waikiki! We used the kayaks and boards while staying at this unit. The owners are extremely friendly and gracious! I have 3 boys, ages 19, 17 and 8 and they all had something to do. Even during their "down" time, the older boys were stoked to have access to their numerous TV channels.

  This home was perfect for our needs! We traveled with our 21/2 year old son and did not know what to expect with choosing accommodations so close to the beach. However, the water here is VERY calm- the waves break on a reef about a half mile off shore. It was really convenient having the sand so close for playing and taking walks. Also, the owner offers his water toys to guests which we used. The kayaks were a blast! The unit was clean, well-kept and comfortably furnished. We felt it was safe, private and convenient to Hawaii Kai and Waikiki. The owner and property manager were accommodating and responsive to our needs and questions. We highly recommend this unit (or the one next door which is equally as nice, but smaller) for your next relaxing Oahu vacation!

  We stayed here right after Christmas through the New Years week and we felt like were in tropical heaven. The weather was rainy for only 1 day and then it was perfect. Even when it was raining, it was warm and pleasant. We also rented the Beach Studio next door for Grandma so our family had our own space but we could open the door on the lanai and have an open gathering space for Happy Hour with pre-mixed mai tais we purchased from close-by grocery stores. Drug stores are also close by which made it so easy to stock up on sunscreen! The owner owns a surf school so we celebrated the new year with surf lessons. My husband loved it so much that he returned again a couple months later with his brother for a guys' surf trip. My 10 year old daughter stood up on her very first wave. The instructors are fabulous! Even Grandma surfed! It is so quiet and secluded that we spent most of our time just a few steps down on the private beach kayaking, surfing, snorkeling, sun tanning, and walking... looking for shells and sea glass. Then after a luscious day of relaxing, we would dress up and take the quick drive to local restaurants for drinks and pupus. We have 3 kids and there was plenty of room in the living room for them to sleep, watch tv or listen to their iPods. The room comes with a wonderful media center. We, the parents, slept in the luxurious "cave" room listening to the breeze and the waves as we fell asleep. I loved that the property has full washer/dryer so we never ran out of clothes or clean towels. There is also a hot tub to relax in while watching the sunrise and drinking your morning Kona coffee. We even pulled out the BBQ and grilled up burgers one night. There is also plenty of parking and easy access to all parts of the island because it's located on a main highway. The unit was tastefully decorated and very clean. I can't wait to bring my girlfriends for a really fun Girls' Getaway trip!!

  It is a great property for those who do not mind to rent a car for entire vacation. If it is your first time to Waikiki this place might not be for you, though. It really depends on your preferences and personal lifestyle. This place is for those who want to escape noises of a big city and tourist crowds. If you would like to get lullabied to sleep by the sound of ocean and to wake up to the quiet breath-taking beach view, then take a walk on the sand before breakfast and watch sun coming up and color clouds in shades of gold and pink….then enjoy your cap of java sitting on the secluded patio watching petals of hibiscus flowers open up…. then go explore Oahu's beaches or surf the waives (by the way the owner of the property is also owner of the amazing Surf School, so if you haven't surf before, they will make you love it, if you surfed before... take their North Shore tour!) then come back to this cool luxurious apartment for a sip of a cold beer and quiet rest before continuing with your evening adventure....is what I just said sounds appealing then consider this apartment for your stay. If you travel alone, in pair or with child, this place will suit you and your needs. There is absolutely amazing video system so if you don't feel like going out, there is plenty of entertainment options available, including just sitting on the patio with candles burning and listen to the ocean. My family of 3 including 21 y.o and 4 y.o had an amazing week at this place and we are coming back as soon as we can.
