This was the 1st time in Tahoe, and it won't be the last. We hope to be back...I absolutely loved the scenery that surrounds this condo at Tahoe. It is luxurious, peaceful, and woodsy. The attention to the landscaping and the natural environment was captivating. This place is like coming home on a holiday!Recommended for: Adventure seekers.

If you come to ski Heavenly the location is great. I'd estimate that on a weekend day it saves more than an hour of skiing time: very short 3 min commute to/from Stagecoach lift (didn't try the ski out option), no line at the ticket window, the lift gets you up the mountain the fastest and gets you into less crowded areas. Plus spending the first night higher on the mountain gets you acclimatized better so you can ski to full potential the first day. The condo feels cozy and has everything one needs. Nick was very helpful with optimizing skiing day, finding good places to eat and getting around. Thanks, Nick! I will definitely stay here again when returning to Tahoe.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

pretty darn close to lifts and tons of fresh snow all week because it's high, they say it's like that al the time, quite amazing for april, though. we were pretty much buried as soon as we came in, kind of like a village up there and it's cool that you can ski out to the lift. we stocked up on groceries, burning wood, etc. just once down in the valley when we arrived, there's a huge shopping center with walmart, costco, trader joes and stuff down there, and didn't have to go anywhere after that cause the place has everything else and the bar is down the street and they serve breakfast too. girls wanted to go out for some shopping and ice skating downtown, though. and us guys, we just stayed up there the whole week. skiing pretty hard all day every day, so just couch potato with beer and TV at night. we're definitely coming for another week next year. the resort is awesome! :-)Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

never knew one could get so high up in the clouds and still have all the amenities of our civilization. very nice place! we hiked the mountain every day, also went biking lake trails and took a couple of boat cruises. my wife even learned to water-ski, just ask at the docks. and almost everybody is from somewhere at lake tahoe.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
