I just want to say that our stay at Seaview 505 in Madeira Beach Florida was very enjoyable. The accommodations were perfect for our group of 3 adult couples. You can tell that the owner takes care of the property, since there was fresh paint, new carpet and a new refrigerator. I would recommend this unit to anybody looking for a 3 bedroom condo. Nice accommodations, nice area, good weather and great food. What more could you ask for

Owner response: Thank you so much for the great review! We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay in our condo! We do work diligently to keep everything in nice condition for our guests. We always appreciate feedback and suggestions. Thanks so much. Mary

This unit is a good size but in need of some paint, clean carpet, and updated appliances. The cleaning services didnt do a good cleaning. There was alot of plastic trash under the beds, candy wrappers, and even found a dollar under one dresser. The fridge didnt get cold until the day after we checked in. No ice maker and only 3 ice cube trays-bring trays or buy ice!!!! Bathrooms were nice and a good size and so were the bedrooms. A fresh coat of paint would do alot for this condo. The traffic noise is HORRIBLE and there are two bar and grill places across the road that were opened late and had alot of customers with motorcycles which sounded like they were in your room instead of outside. We did wake up a couple of mornings with tiny ants in the bathroom and kitchen. Just had to keep cleaning off the counters and all of the food were in containers or ziploc bags. The internet service was poor, the pool was out due to a crack for 2 whole days and the only elevator broke but it was fixed later that evening. There is only one parking spot for this unit and we had 2 cars Even though there were 5 guest parking spots for the entire condo and that we had a guest pass for the 2 weeks we didnt always get our space. Everytime we would go out we would have to find somewhere to park or talk to the staff and figure out something. Even though there were signs 'NO PARKING unless a guest at Seaview or your car will be towed' there was never anything done about it, even though the staff knew the cars parked didnt have a pass. That was aggrevating having 5 kids worrying about parking and paying that much to stay for 2 weeks and no guaranteed parking. The outside was nice and well kept. The grill was great by the pool with a picnic table. The unit had enough towels, blankets, pillows, sheets, kitchen items, sand and swim items And all the Tv's were newer with a dvd/blueray player built in. Plenty of seating in front room and dining area. The owner was very nice and answered all our questions and the staff was friendly.

Owner response: Dear Amanda, I was so sorry to read your review regarding the cleanliness of the unit. We have had such difficulty with our cleaning crew. We continue to work towards more satisfactory outcomes. Guests are paying $120 to have the unit cleaned and should be getting more! We will be heading down in August for 3 weeks as we do each year to paint, deep clean, purchase new items-it looks like a new refrigerator is on the list this year. We want our guests to enjoy their stay in our condo. This is very important to us. We try very hard to keep our place in terrific shape. We are disappointed that you were not completely satisfied. We will speak to the management again about the cleaning. This is unacceptable. Thank you for letting us know. Mary

The beachfront condo was well equipped for our annual family get-together of seven. Each family had their own bedroom/bathroom and the common area was large enough for us to mingle and relax. The dining table sat eight and we enjoyed many board games there at night. The only drawback would be the parking. Each family had their own car and there is only one designated parking spot per unit. There is limited visitor parking. There are businesses all around, so no overflow parking is available. It worked for us since all of the units were not rented while we were there and we were allowed to use their parking. The owner is great to communicate with and answers emails promptly. Overall, it was a great place for our family to meet and enjoy a week at the beach!

Very nice stay. View was excellent! Beach access was great! Beach was not crowded which was nice. It was hard for some sleeping with the bar directly across the street. Condo needed a few repairs. Ice maker was gone and they had 1 ice cube try to work with. We went to the store for supplies and bought ice and ice cube trays. We also had ants in the kitchen. And when you turned on the master bedroom fan the closet light came on also. We closed the closet door at night but the light shined through the beveled doors so we had a glow of light in the room at night which didn't bother us but might bother some people. The door was directly across from the bed. Most of the condos would only rent with a check-in or check-out on Saturday. This owner rents for any day check-in which was great for us.

Our stay at this condo wasPERFECT!! The pictures are exactly what the condo looks like. It was wonderful to have a place that we could have our local family come in and spend time with us and have the space to enjoy together. We did not have any problems at all. The owner was great to work with and accomadated our arrival and departure dates. We never saw an insect but having lived in the area for several years we know to be diligent in cleaning after eating to prevent this. There is a grocery store 4 blocks away and Johns pass is within walking distance. We travel alot and we can't wait to come back and stay at this condo again. The price is great and the management team was very helpful in their recommendations when we had car trouble and our son was sick. You won't find a better deal for your money on the beach!!

Hi Mary Ellen, Just wanted to let you know that we all really enjoyed your condo last week. It was perfect for us. Roomy & comfy. Everyone commented on the fact that we all slept very well and relaxed. We spent most of our time at the pool and on the balcony. Most of the time we had the pool completely to ourselves! Just and FYI - The staff we encountered were very friendly and they keep things so nice. We hope to return. Thanks, Sandy

Hi Mary Ellen, Our vacation to sunny Florida and being at #505 was just wonderful! I can't remember a more relaxing vacation. There was 8 of us and since we all have been there many times before (in Madeira Beach) we just went with the flow....spent a day at Honeymoon Island, shelling and then spent 1/2 day in Tarpon Springs. What a neat place. Had experienced some great Greek food and dessert of course. The weather was beautiful and if you like Margarita's, you need to go across the street

We were very disappointed with this unit it was dirty we found an old t shirt left from the previous renters I assume in one of the dresser draws the towels, shower cutains and bedding were stained and torn. The kitchen was missing the basics (dish racks etc.) the kitchen counter was falling apart and we did find tiny bugs all over the counter every morning. the glasses were stained along with rusty pots and pans and the dishwasher leaked. The one redeeming feature was a lovely view of the ocean. I do not recomend this unit!!! The property itself was clean and well mainted and the fellow we dealt with was very polite. Maybe the other units are in better shape and updated!

The ocean was gorgeous. The weather was ideal. The property was spacious and very clean. It really met our needs for handicap travel with walkin showers, elevators and even luggage carts. The staff were vey pleasant and accomadating. On the down side, it was not quiet with traffic and a noisy bar across the highway. However it is hard to avoid strip development if you want ocean exposure. The property is feeling its years with a dishwasher that leaks a bit and vertical blinds that do not work well. To be fair it provided excellent value for our special needs and you can be very comfortable in this location. Be sure you have a car and GPS to go exploring in this urban area. Good shopping inland but found only a few good restaurantsand several not so good. Mainly try to eat in.

Although the owner of this condo was extremely pleasant to deal with and refunded our deposit in full; we feel obligated to all other renters to share our feelings in hopes that two important changes will take place: 1) the name of a condo being offered needs to mirror the final product and the adjective "Luxury" does not describe this unit, unfortunately, we feel it not all the owners fault, however the building management team which is item 2) the management team is responsible for supplying towels and sheets to this unit and both were horribly shredded, and stained. Also, the cleaning team is the management team's responsibility and apparently the water is hard-lime water and stains the glassware badly with streaks... the lime water additive to dishwasher is needed so customers can see/use sparkling clean dishes and not think they are filthy instead. Last and not least, this condo has a blocked view to the North side (not disclosed) and the fireplace has apparently been boarded up for 18 years (not disclosed) as we were having our Holiday gathering with retired parents and the fireplace was one big reason we chose to rent this condo.

Owner response: We strive to keep our condo in beautiful condition and pleasing for all of our guests. I spoke with our property manager who went up to our unit to double check the sheets and towels. She said there was 1 towel with 1 thread hanging off of it but that the towels were in fine condition. She also said one of the sheets had a small Clorox stain ( white on a light blue sheet) but that was all. We were so sorry to hear how disappointed you were. Many, many of our guests are delighted with our condo and are repeat visitors. We are updating constantly and love to hear constructive feedback. We aim to please! Thank you for your comments.

My family and I stayed here during the last week of August, 2011. We had a very enjoyable stay. Everyone loved the condo! It was so roomy - and with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, everyone was able to get ready for the day without interfering with one another. The condo was spotless, beds were comfortable, and furnishings were all nice. Photos are very accurate. The kitchen table is huge and will accommodate a large group. The balcony is quite large, and we spent a lot of time sitting out there, drinking our morning coffee and watching folks strolling up and down the beach and swimming in the ocean. The view is wonderful, and we saw dolphins one day. Some of the restaurants we enjoyed were the Frog Pond (breakfast), the Conch and The Angry Pepper (barbeque). The people managing the condo are great. The front desk women were all very nice, and there was a man we would see every day meticulously cleaning floors and maintaining the building grounds. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Our family stayed here for one week from 20 through 27 August and we had a wonderful time. We were a pretty big group and the place was roomy (seemed even bigger than what we had seen in the video and pictures) and very well-maintained, with a great ocean-view from the balcony. Moreover, this being a corner condo on the top floor, two of the bedrooms have a good view of the East side, which means that on a good day, you could see both sunrise and sunset from your unit. The ocean view was breathtaking and we could even see dolphins swimming in the ocean in the mornings. The beach was great and not at all crowded, which we loved. There are convenience stores, fast food places and grocery stores nearby, which was also a great asset. Plus, the pool was great and the atmosphere, in general, was kid-friendly as well. The on-site staff was also very friendly and helpful. All in all, we had a great trip and we will carry fond memories of our stay for the rest of our lives.

Great spot for watching dolphins and other ocean goers. The condo was spacious and had plenty of linens, bedding and beds for the seven of us who stayed in the unit. Very comfortable for sleeping. Showers in two of the bathrooms were huge and great for washing off the Florida Sand!! The weather was perfect while there - no rain or even clouds and I do not believe the temperatures were much above 90 the entire week while there - in mid June! That being said, the temperature in the living room area was uncomfortably hot most of the time. The bedroom area temperature was very comfortable. We had other family staying in other units this same week so we were in and out of several of the units in this condominium. This unit was certainly larger than any of the others - had a third bathroom and larger living room. Maybe that was why it was difficult to cool?? This unit was also not as upgraded as the others - Appliances old and worn. Refrigerator took several days to get up to temp, dryer took 3 cycles to dry, Ice maker in refrigerator did not work. There were lots of towels and linens - however they were worn and mismatched. Lots of dishes and glasses (hard water stained, chipped), and kitchen utensils, pots, pans, implements that were worn, stained, dented and mismatched. It felt like garage sale items were used to stock the kitchen. Did enjoy the stero system - listened to music-that was great! There were also flat screen tvs with built in DVD players in living room and all bedrooms. Not a tv or movie watcher, but for someone who does-this would be a great amenity! The dining table had a leaf that made for a large and comfortable area for all of us to dine at the same time. We had several small children with us, so dined in for most meals. The staff was very accomodating - Easy check in and out! This area was nice and quiet. Owner was great to work with in arranging the rental. If I ever made plans to go back to this area, I would consider staying at this condominimum but in a different unit that has been updated.

Owner response: Thanks for your feedback Marilyn! I am glad you enjoyed your stay at Seaview. Thank you for specific feedback regarding the appliances and kitchen items. Brand new dishes arriving in August. New appliances will be installed then as well. We work hard to keep the unit beautiful and pleasing for our guests. For possible future reference, anytime the air conditioning is not up to par just let the manager know and she is responsible for calling repair service. It is a brand new system. The manager is also responsible for supplying all towels. We will contact her regarding these items. Thanks again!
