  We enjoyed a lovely stay in your home-away-from-home! It was very warm and comfortable, and we made ourselves at home right away. Having the firewood ready for us was terrific, as we enjoyed a fire every evening when we returned from skiing. The snowman decorations everywhere indoors prepared us for the beautiful snow outside!"

  "Aloha! Thank you so much for opening your mountain home to our family. It was perfect. Our boys and visiting cousins enjoyed playing baseball in the field out back and frisbee out front. Grilling out and enjoying the back deck was the parents favorite! You have made our long trip from Hawaii so much more enjoyable under the circumstances. Mahalo!"

  "What a privilege it has been to make your home our home this past week. I would love to use your interior decorator - you have the perfect touch in every room. The scenery - leaves, meadows, valleys, mountain views and trails - the small town shops, the friendly people have all made for a perfect relaxing vacation!"

  We spent a long weekend at this wonderful condo and really enjoyed it. The condo has everything one could want, the beds are comfortable, it's so clean and just the perfect size for my husband, our 9 year old son and me. We loved that we could make a fire after a long day of skiing, we cooked breakfast and dinner every day and it's close to both Canaan Valley and Timberline. It was a pleasure dealing with Don, the owner, he is just a really nice gentleman. I can't say enough good things about it. I hope we get a chance to come back again, because it was a lovely place.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  Your place is gorgeous, beautifully decorated; very serene & peaceful, absolutely QUIET! I wrote all weekend, while B. lounged on the deck enjoying his Ipod. We found a new love, The Purple Fiddle! The music Saturday night was glorious and a nice family atmosphere. Davis seems to be the best kept secret, hidden behind old storefronts! Who knew what was through all those doors?! Very Very Nice! THANK YOU for the reservation on last minute notice and the great rate!

  We love your place! It is really like being in someone's home rather than a rental. Everything is beautifully decorated and super clean. We can't wait to go out and explore today. The weather forecast isn't great, but this is a great place to be. Thanks for sharing your place with us.

  This Sept 2010 vacation rental was perfect for our family of five. The home is beautifully maintained and tastefully decorated. My wife quickly fell in love with the mountains decor, antiques, and quality furniture throughout the home. The kitchen cabinets were well-stocked with all the serviceware that we needed for cooking/serving family meals. Our kids enjoyed the large master bathtub for evening bath time. They also enjoyed bike riding, the playground, and a heated inground swimming pool - all in the development. We also enjoyed using the home's fireplace (the homeowner supplies all of the firewood). The property also includes a nice backyard, a variety of board & card games, several TVs, and - my personal favorite - wireless internet access for my laptop. And it was very close to all the outdoor activities that we like to do in Canaan Valley. We highly recommend this property! :)
