  We rented the house for a week. there were 10 occupants, and other than a lack of couch space in the living room (there are only 2) we never felt cramped. Everyting in the house worked great and there were many more pots, pans, plates etc. then anticipated. Our only complaint was that when we arrived, and the entire week we were there, the driveway was covered in ice. That said, driving through the town of Ludlow during our week, this house was far from the only place with an ice covered driveway. I'm not sure that there is anyting the owners could have done about the ice. At least the driveway was plowed. While it will be a while before the 10 of us get together again, I would certainly consider coming back to the house and reccomend it.

  Limoncello, hello! Let me start off by saying I'm a pretty large guy, vertically speaking. My friends who accompanied me on this trip share similar anatomical advantages. We eat a lot, we sleep like giants, we sweat near fire, and we love garlic. The ceilings in this house were very accommodating for the most part, as were the door frames. The biggest and perhaps most ingrained impression this house had on me were the many doors and cabinets. So many, in fact, that we were convinced the "Little Man of Ludlow" resided somewhere behind the abundant wooden portals. Call him what you want, but the mystical Vermont pixie pulls some strings! One night we were having a jovial time amongst alcoholic breath, when I felt compelled to enter the kitchen. Upon my return, a roll of shrink wrap appeared in the center of the table. Because of my apparent mobility, I was blamed and questioned for it. To this day, I know nothing surrounding the roll of shrink wrap. Little Man... The bedrooms were far and plenty. I may be biased because I had the privilege of stretching my limbs on the master bed, or, the shag lair minus shag. However, we easily slept 9 adults throughout the house and for those that don't normally end up in a bed after a fun night of "Kings", fear not! Simply locate the closet in the master bedroom, and you'll find two twin stacked cots. Gives the feeling of being lower deck on a whaleboat with Jacques Cousteau, nice! The fire place was undoubtedly the focal point of our homely evenings. This is not your Aunt Lucy's fireplace. This roaring heath will (and has :/) turn seemingly masculine men into feminine laughing stock. Very tough to ignite the logs to the left of the fireplace, and may take embarrassingly long hours to get a 10 second dancing flame. READ: Use dry, cold logs located outside the sliding door entrance near Foosball table. These will create a magic so grand, your cheeks will look like your other cheeks after trying snowboarding for the first time. Another time-consuming room here is that which houses the jacuzzi. That tub can crank! And boy does it feel good on your ever-tiring muscles. Be sure to hydrate if you want to migrate, as the room gets so steamy that one of our people completely forget he spent a whole 3 hours pruning in the sweat laden stew! Be sure to add chlorine! The house is a 5 minute drive from Ludlow/Okemo. We thought it acceptable one day to attempt walking, yet soon realized we had much maturing to do as adults.

  Easily accessed home right off of the main road in Ludlow, Vt. The location of the home is less than 2 miles to the base of Okemo Mt, and just over 1/2 mile to the local pubs, gas stations, and grocery store. This rental is extremely clean with a large great room for everyone to hang out in with two pull out couches and a large farm table for family dinners.. The bedrooms are modest and the house will hold 12 people comfortably with room to spare. The house also comes with plenty of firewood, all of the kitchen utensils, movies, games, and a flatscreen TV that will accept a video game system. The hot tub is nice after a long day on the slopes. The owner makes sure that all of the pertinent information that is needed comes to you in email format (directions, house info, alarm info, hot tub info) . Anything that was stated was delivered promptly and accurately. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We all felt that we could not have gotten a better place at a better price. Do yourself a favor and rent this home. You will not be disappointed.

  We were very happy with the house - its proximity to Okemo is ideal, maybe a 5 minute drive. The house was clean and the hot tub was great to come home to. The owners were very accommodating - we would go back again in the future.

  A group of 13 of us stayed at this house over President's Day Weekend. We really enjoyed our stay! The house was in perfect shape and fit all of us very comfortably! We especially enjoyed using the hot tub and sitting around the warm fireplace. We would absolutely stay here again!

  THE GOOD: The house was relatively accommodating for our party of 10, and everything was clean. The big screen TV was nice and there were plenty of places to sleep. THE BAD: The indoor hot tub is a little strange and feels a more like a steam room than anything (I personally prefer them outdoors). When we first arrived the heat didn't work and we had to rely on the fire for the first 6hrs or so. Eventually we figured out the electrical problem and had heat for the rest of the weekend; however the house wasn’t very well insulated, and 2 of the bedrooms stayed quite cold for the entire weekend (alright if you have lots of blankets I guess). THE UGLY: Upon departure we cleaned the house to the same standards as our arrival, and we were confident the owner would be happy with our extra effort. On the contrary we received a bill for a burn that we allegedly put in the hot tub cover. Upon investigation the owner informed me that we must have removed the hot tub cover and rested it to close to a ceiling light. He said the damage was minor, but previous renters had done the exact same thing, so he had to charge us for a future replacement. Why wasn't there a warning or something changed to prevent this if this was a common occurrence? This seemed unfair to us and left a bad taste in our mouths about the whole weekend. (Note: I have rented many homes and this is the most nagative review I have given)

  Owner response: In response to this renters comments we the owners were suprised to read his comments, but take all criticism to our property with great respect. Unfortunatley we have now learned how to handle this problem with our hot tub cover and have readdressed this is in our hot tub proceedures that go out to all renters. We believe that we will never need to address this issue with a renter in the future. MNLLC owners
