Luxury high count cotton linens, towels & beach towels, and fresh decor all cleaned to perfection for your stay. Upstairs sleep in the quiet comfort of the large Master bedroom (QUEEN). Adjoining is a small bedroom with a cozy daybed. Family & guests will love the second bedroom (FULL). The main floor features two living rooms, pullout sofa (QUEEN) and curtains that pull across the arched doorway for full privacy. Adjoining is the Bunkroom featuring fun and comfortable bunk beds to accommodate you all (TWO TWINS) and the main floor bathroom with shower.

We had a wonderful time staying at this home. It was clean and comfortable. It gave us plenty of room for our family to spread out. I love that it had two family rooms. My kids kept asking if we could always live here. This house provided everything that we needed. We loved the location. It was close to downtown and shopping but on a very quiet street. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. We will be returning to Retreat at 526.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had 3 of our families stay here, very accomidatining! The kitchen was bare bones though.. not even a salt shaker..: but this was the only disapointment. the rest of the house was well furnished. and very comfortable!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I appreciate the comment as I will be sure to give future guests a heads-up that "fully equipped" refers to equipment. While we have a fully equipped kitchen and get our guests started with some paper products & trash liners, we do not provide food. I hope you enjoyed the many other amenities. We'd love to have you stay with us again.

We had an awesome time. Thanks for the great weather! Day 1 & 2 = Beach Day 3 = Sand dunes at Salty Lake (Must see!) About the owner: Liz Swanson...A native of the Chicago area, my family and I moved to Grand Haven 17 years ago and fell in love with the white sand beaches and friendly atmosphere. We knew Grand Haven was the right town for us immediately. We enjoy taking in the beauty of the changing seasons and the variety of outdoor sports and activities! 5-Star Rated Accommodations..... My husband, myself & a couple friends created the Retreat at 526 in 2008 to offer the type of cottage experience that we enjoy when we travel...the more stars the better!
Why the Owner Chose Grand Haven:
This location on Grand Haven’s north side is the perfect mix of close proximity to activities, shops & beaches, but in a terrific neighborhood on a quiet street. We were excited to find just exactly the best combination of premium location and wonderful renovation. We loved the hardwood floors, arched doorway, great floor plan and nice room sizes. (and it was in excellent condition...super clean!)
