True Blue on Pawley's Island is located in an area of the South Carolina Coast known as the Grand Strand. It’s about 25 minutes south of Myrtle Beach. Getting to Pawley's Island is fairly simple, but not directly off any major highway. There are a number of great places to eat in the area and a lot of laid back nightlife... For the wild side you head up to Myrtle Beach!

The ocean is about one mile from the condo, but there are five swimming pools with whirlpool spas on the property. Town beaches are gorgeous but really small with limited free parking on a first come first serve basis - no permit is required. The best place to be assured admittance is Huntington State Park, about ten minutes away just north on Route 17, permit required, which we have for our guests. Golf is right out the back door.

The second floor condo has its own private entrance and the enclosed screened porch overlooks the 17th tee and an eight acre pond beyond. A great feature of our unit is that there are basically 2 Master Bedrooms, each with a private bath, as well as a third bath adjacent to the middle bedroom. Very accommodating for several families vacationing together!

I’m not a golfer, so don’t have many details, but in recent years, True Blue was listed as one of America’s Top 100 Greatest Public Courses by Golf Digest. I’m sure the pro shop can give you details for fees, start times, etc.

Located between Myrtle Beach and Charleston, South Carolina, Pawley's Island Community is bordered on the east by the Atlantic Ocean and on the west by the Intercoastal Waterway. Historic Georgetown is a simple drive south. Today Pawley's is one of the few unspoiled, non-commercial, oceanfront communities remaining on the east coast of the United States. Truly, a well kept secret!
