    This is the second time we've rented this unit. Joe goes out of his way to make sure renters are happy and responds to problems quickly.

    Great condo. Owner has added a couple of very nice upgrades (fridge with a real freezer in the room is a real plus). He's also very prompt in responding to requests, etc.

    Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

    My family and I would like to say thanks for providing us with an outstanding experience. Your condo was super and just as advertised. It was clean, well maintained and we appreciated the fresh towels you supplied us with when we requested them .The skiing was excellent and the use of the lockers was very convenient. The kids were never bored and their was always something for them to do. The pool, of course, was a highlight for them. Our family of 4 was very comfortable and even though we were often too tired to watch TV it was nice to have cable available. The kitchenette was great whether it was a quick snack of a full meal- a real time and money saver. You were very accomodating in co-ordinating with our schedule for arrival and the early check in was most appreciated. We have already recommended your condo to a number of our friends and we are planning on scheduling a return visit next year as soon as our schedules get firmed up.

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

    We stayed at the condo Friday and Saturday night and had a great time. The parking is underground with and elevator and is perfect for bringing your luggage, food, drinks, etc up to the room. The locker is great for storing all ski equipment and any other items and is very close to the mountain. When you walk out of the locker room you are literally 20 feet away from stepping right out on the snow with your skis. The room was extremely clean and stocked with all dishes, cups, utensils, pots, pans, and everything you need to cook your own food. Joe was extremely nice and I will definately be coming back next year.

    Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway.

    Highly recommended. Very clean. Convenient- ski right to the door for the ski lockers. Ski lift right out your door. Fully stocked kitchen with microwave, coffee make all dishes and glassware. Outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi were awesome.

    The room was clean, well kept and overall served its purpose. We were willing to give up the condo type apts we were used to in order to have the ski in/out option. It turned out to be totally worth it since it was only the two of us in the room. Although towel and linen service is available every 3 days, overall I would recommend this room for a couple staying for only a long weekend since it cant really accomodate extended stays or large families due to having only a 2 burner stove, no oven, no in-room laundry. The bath tub was a nice treat to soak sore muscles from snowboarding and the sheets on the bed were ultra soft (so much that I had to purchase my own). The ski in/out part was the highlight of our stay but we would not stay here if we went with our family/friends.

    Owner response: Marly, I’m glad you had a nice time and that you found your stay to be “totally worth it”. I would just like to make sure everyone is aware that the maximum occupancy of the room is limited to 4. Please, if you have a large family, you can not rent this unit. You will need to rent a 2 bedroom unit, as this is the hotel policy. For my wife and I as well as our 2 children we find our condo meets our needs perfectly, as do other families of 4 who have stayed as you can read in the reviews. That being said, I have made some additional improvements geared to make the longer stays even more comfortable. They include; - A Breville Convection Oven, large enough to bake a 13” pizza! - To store your frozen pizza, I have replaced the mini fridge with a 2 door model with a larger separate freezer. - Extra towel racks and towel bars to hold additional clean towels - A built in laundry hamper under the bathroom sink. - Kohler retractable clothesline – eco-friendly! - 2 DVD players and a collection of DVD’s Also, you might not have realized that the hotel does have a private laundry room provided free to all guests. As a full service hotel, there is also a laundry and dry cleaning pick up and delivery service available for an additional charge. Again, thank you for your stay and we hope to see you again next year!

    The room was very clean and the renter was very nice and made the rental process very smooth & easy. We had a family of 4 - 1 bedroom with pull-out couch and it was fine. The kitchen came in handy. And the outdoor pool and jacuzzi was excellent (nice and hot!)

    Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

    We stayed for two nights in January and it was better than we ever imagined. Joe met us at the condo when we arrived to walk us through the unit and explain everything. He bent over backwards to make us happy during our stay. The condo looks brand new and has everything you could possibly need. With ski in/ski out right from the building, your own ski locker, a kitchenette perfect for simple meals and gas fireplace what more could you want? We'll be back for sure.

    My stay here was amazing. The Appalachian is an extremely relaxing place to be and for the price it was unbeatable. You really get more than your money's worth here, as you get a great place right next to Mountain Creek. You can literally walk out the door to get onto the slopes, which I took full advantage of as the walk up from the Mountain Creek parking lot can be a hassle with all your equipment. The place itself was immaculately maintained with all the furnishings you need to have a pleasant stay. Parking is not a chore as you can walk straight up to the place. So you can literally go from car to room to mountain in just a few minutes. There are also a bunch of things to do, you can partake in good food nearby, relax in the spa area, or just hang out in the lounge. The owner is also a pleasant and trustworthy person, and was extremely friendly by making sure I knew of what there is to do outside of just the mountain. I really sound like an ad, but this place was excellent and I had a great time. I would highly recommend it, I only wish I was there longer!

    My boyfriend's family usually always stays at the resort club condos at Minerals Spa but we made a great choice staying here! I'm from Liverpool England and a novice skier so this place was great to learn at. The bed is so comfy, facilities are great - you couldn't ask for more!
