Home away from home and our personal sandcastle! This lovely one-bedroom condo located at the Maravilla resort complex welcomes up to six human and one canine guests to enjoy the comforts of home while on vacation.
The condo itself offers a comfortable queen bed in the bedroom, a convertible sleeper sofa, as well as child-appropriate bunks in the entry area. The fully furnished and equipped kitchen allows for families to prepare their own meals or warm leftovers from any of Galveston's excellent restaurant offerings.

Our pricing is 'no-surprise' meaning we've included everything except the umbrella for your evening cocktail. Pricing includes required City of Galveston and State of Texas occupancy taxes, damage waiver purchase (we don't ask for a security deposit) post-move cleaning, quality bed linens and bath towels and one parking permit valid for the duration of your stay.
The Maravilla Resort complex offers 3 pools including the largest on Galveston island with palm trees literally in an island in the center of the pool, a hot tub, and workout room. The Maravilla pools are heated only by the environment. Free WiFi access is available in the lobby during the complex office hours of operation, and in the workout room at all other times. There is a pay per use service also available from each condo if you prefer privacy. Coin operated laundry facilities are located throughout the complex. The complex, while gulf-front, is not sand-beach front. There are stairs leading into the Gulf of Mexico and folks regularly enter at this spot to swim and fish, but sand beaches require travel of 1-3 miles in either direction from the complex.
Galveston is growing! The Historic Pleasure Pier is being brought back with a carnival atmosphere, rides, games, etc. Look for this to be completed in late May.

As usual, we had an exceptional stay at Maravilla (Unit #311 this time)! We have rented several times in the past and each time it never fails to meet our expectations. The condo was GREAT, CLEAN and QUIET and the pool area is really nice and peaceful as well. Outstanding staff.....very helpful and accommodating. Fingers crossed, will be returning before the summer is out!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay at your condo. It was me, my husband, my one year old, and my mother and we had plenty of room. The view was awesome and it was a perfect distance from all attractions. The property itself is beautiful and extremely clean. The pools are amazing and very family friendly. The only recommendations for the condo itself: installing a permanent ladder for the bunk beds and a mount for the shower head. We would definitely stay again, thanks for sharing your home/getaway!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

About the owner: I am retired from Shell Oil. My wife and I have enjoyed our beautiful condo at the Maravilla since 2004. We enjoy hanging out by the pool with our friends, laying out on one of the many sandy beaches on the west end of Galveston Island, or just enjoying the view from our balcony

We chose the Maravilla because of it's location behind the seawall and it's close proximity the Galveston's many attractions.
