Beautiful 2 bedroom very clean low beach waterfront Home on the
beach in Birch Bay. Open floor plan with 20 foot ceiling to floor to ceiling windows with breath taking views of Birch Bay and the San Juan Islands. Antique stain glass windows near the ceiling , cascade the light with the ceiling fan blowing a warm breeze.
All the comforts of home with a fully equipped kitchen, filter water, ice maker, all your spices, coffee, Teas, and an outside refrigerator for refreshments.
Nautical theme with twin beds , a queen size bed with a flavor of antique furniture and a sliding glass door leading to a private shady wood deck .
One of the couches also pulls out to a queen size hide-a-bed with extra blankets and pillows located in the window seats.
The open floor plan gives you the pleasure of making your morning coffee and looking at the amazing water in front of you.
The living room has a large table set by the windows for dinning.
Enjoy the Library of books and movies, as well as puzzles, board games and cards.
Outside on the patio enjoy the 2 tables for dinning, three umbrellas, chairs, lounge chairs, foot bath, BQ, and fire pit.

We rented the house memorial day weekend and everything was perfect throughout the entire stay. Sheryl met us after we had a chance to settle in and was so nice and accommodating. She gave us a brief rundown and it was obvious she'd thought of everything. Movies, games, beach toys, barbeque with charcoal! You name it. The house has an amazing view through the enormous front windows. The layout is great. It's not a huge place, but there is more than enough open space for entertaining both inside and on the patio. We rode our bikes over to the 'C' Store several times as it was probably 1/4 mile from the house. Downtown is perhaps another 1/2 mile. Very walkable/ride-able to get a quick snack. It might seem cheesy, but I loved the fact that this house has been in her family for 50+ years and it has been a labor of love getting it to where it is today. The wood work and 'sea decorations' throughout are a very nice touch, by the way. I can only imagine the memories this place has created.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

My wife and I spent our anniversary away from home, the kids and the dogs here. We only met Sheryl briefly, but she was such a great host. Her place is small and cozy and it was a the perfect getaway spot and wonderful to sit and watch the water from the big bay windows or head out for a walk up and down the beach. We only had to bring food with is as she had everything we needed to cook in. Highly recommend this place.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

My stay was wonderful. The house is beautiful and sits right on beach. Very comfortable and clean. All ammentities were included, even towels. Can't wait to go back. Best experience ever. Even prettier than the pictures. I just came back with my daughter after staying at this most incredible, couldnt have had a better location,oasis. It was so beautiful we were welcomed with a spa package, which we used every night. Very clean, steps from the ocean, a very cozy experience lots of lamps, quiet. Hope to make it back one day... I would definately recomment this place to anyoneRecommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway, people with disabilities.
Owner response: The breeze of the ocean, the blue water, and the warm salt water make The Beach House a trip to remember. When it comes to a rainy day the gas fireplace and the incredable view of the ocean makes you want to snuggle up with a book and day dream. The Beach House is like out of a picture book bringing memories forever.

I just realized that we forgot to write in your guest book, I wanted to be sure to tell you what a lovely time we had this week. We just LOVED your beautiful cottage! It is darling, clean, comfortable, and the view is breathtaking(even on a rainy day!). Oh, and we enjoyed your amazing movie collection as well. Thanks so much for a fabulous welcome to Washington! We are getting settled into the new place now but I hate to leave this place! Beautiful job on the Beach House and what a spectacular location!! Thanks for the jam as well, we had it with some fresh bread from Seattles Pike Place Market wile my Mom was visiting. The "kids" and I have throughly our stay! Come visit us at the Dairy Farm. We saw a Sea Otter come up fro the ocean walk right pass us like we were not there , passed the windows, and glass doors, to the creek across the street, we've never seen anything like it!!! $175.00-$200.00 nightly rate with a min. of 3 nights= Octobter thru May. $50.00 cleaning fee per stay. Deposit of $200.00 all refundable on departure when left clean. About the owner: I was raised in Seattle and have spent my summers coming to Birch Bay since I was a child. There is something Magical about the Bay, the smell of the air, the breeze in your face, it makes you want to say I am here! You get a sense of being carefree, laughing and smiling a lot!The picture is the Ring of fire for Hope and Peace on the Bay, New Year's Eve.
