Beach Pines Bungalow...a quintessential beach experience in the heart of Arch Cape!
This classic beach cottage offers a relaxing environment from which to enjoy the Pacific Ocean. The colorful landscaping, wood-burning fireplace (wood provided), and tasteful decor all contribute to the warm and inviting ambiance. You can enjoy ocean views from the dining nook, private backyard, and upstairs bedroom.
Downstairs, there are two bright and cheerful bedrooms each furnished with a queen bed and quality linens and comforters. Also on the main floor is the full bathroom with tub/shower enclosure and plenty of plush towels and spa soaps. The large upstairs bedroom is furnished with two twin beds, a full size bed, TV & DVD/VCR player, and a foosball table - a great space for kids and teenagers.
Prepare delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen. Brand new in December 2011 are a stainless steel coffee maker, bean grinder, espresso/cappuccino maker, blender, pots & pans, dishes and stemware. Necessities such as soaps, paper goods, and cooking spices are provided, and a welcome basket full of coastal treats awaits you when you arrive. The dining room table is ideally situated for views of the ocean - the perfect backdrop for relaxing conversation and meals with family and friends.
Curl up in the living room with a good novel or enjoy a movie on the cable-equipped flat-screen TV with a fire crackling in the wood-burning fireplace. There is large selection of books, family friendly movies, games and toys to enjoy at the house. A Blu-ray player, VCR player, CD player with iPod doc, and wireless internet round out your entertainment options.
The yard, surrounded with lush greenery, mature trees, and beautiful hydrangeas, is a quiet oasis in which to read, relax, and barbecue.
Venture out to the beach, just a 1/2 block away. The stream that empties into the ocean near the house provides a sheltered place for little ones to play in the sand and water. Surf or boogie board right off the Arch Cape beach and just a short distance away, you will find many hiking trails, shops, restaurants, museums, the Seaside Aquarium, and more. Cannon Beach and its many art galleries, restaurants, and boutiques is just 5 miles north.

What a great place! It was nice to be so close to the ocean and near so many hikes. It was nice to be able to cook whatever we wanted in the well stocked kitchen yet be close enough to go to Cannon Beach or Seaside for dinner. Wonderful movies at the house. Very cozy and comfortable.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

The four of us and our two Labradors had a wonderful stay at this cozy bungalow. Plenty of room for all of us to spend time together (and get away from each other once in a while). House was clean as a pin and everything we needed was provided--even dog towels for those sandy paws. We climbed Neakahnie Mountain and had lots of fun in Cannon Beach (esp. Bruce's Candy Kitchen : ) ) Lovely place--we'll definitely come again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Our family of 8 (+1 Lab!) had an amazing time at Beach Pines Bungalow. EVERY detail you could think of, has been thoughtfully addressed, both inside and out. Danna was so very helpful, and thank you to the Vermont owners who have so graciously opened their home. Beach access was wonderful, Coastal Theater in Cannon Beach presented a great show!, and Manzanita made for a lovely afternoon. We lucked out with 2 sunny, bright days of 56 degrees even! This home is clean and sooo well maintained....wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone! Thank you!!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners.

While the photos of the house made it appear much larger, it was quite cozy for a winter stay, with lots of firewood and comfy seating, and great cable TV,CD with iPod doc and wireless internet~and a peek of the ocean from the kitchen. It was fine for our party of 2 persons/with small dogs. We were disappointed that beach access this time of year was very limited, although we could take in nearby beaches with a short drive.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners.

wonderful property. Very close to the beach and a quick drive to cannon beach! The house was clean and super cozy. Beds were very comfortable. This cottage had lots of charm and personality. We loved staying in Arch Cape because it was not as touristy as Cannon Beach. The only complaint we had was the gas grill - it was very old and outdated. Other than that we had a great time and I don't think we would have enjoyed staying anywhere else. Morning walks on the uncrowded beach and the great selection of books and CD's could not be beat!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway.

Everything was as represented in the VRBO listing - no surprises. Very pretty and interesting objects in the cottage - very usable kitchen with everything - nice and clean - many items of interest for our 8 year old grandson and great videos. Very pleasant main room too - nicely furnished and the quiet expansive beach was wonderful.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.
