What a lovely home. Thank you for sharing. Everything is just as described or better. Spacious and comfortable I would highly recommend staying here. There are lots of rules but most are just good manners. I wish we had a reason to return to the area so we could spend more time in the house!Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

This home was exactly what we were looking for, in between Zion & Bryce Canyon. The drives to Zion & Bryce were so beautiful and it didn't take any time at all. We planned our two days to Zion leaving the cabin in the early morning and ate breakfast at Thunder Bird restaurant in Mt. Carmel, it was great. One morning there were 6 deer right outside the master bedroom window, awesome! It was a real treat feeling like you lived in the area coming home showering after a long day of hiking, cooking dinner and just relaxing. It was only the two of us but we will be back with the whole family next time! I highly recommend it.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

Just an incredible experience at this lovely home. Deer, elk, turkey and hawks kept us entertained on the spacious deck with fabulous views every morning and evening. Easy drives to Bryce, Zion and Grand Canyon. We truly hated leaving this vacation home. Everything you need is there and the place was spotless. We loved stargazing at night especially during the Perseids! I could go on and on and on about this home, but find out for yourself. You will love it!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

Our family had a wonderful time in the Southwest and greatly enjoyed the Elk Ridge Estates cabin. We appreciated the pristine condition we found it in when we arrived. The views and amenities were fabulous! We prepared and enjoyed some memorable dinners in the well-equipped kitchen and dining room. The movie room and pool table were a real hit with the younger members of our family. Thank you for facilitating our stay. It was all we had hoped for and more.Did you find this review helpful? In June we had a group of 21 travelers leave the heat in Houston to journey to the Bryce Zion area. We rented 3 homes (this was one of the homes) from this owner to accommodate our group and leave plenty of space for everyone. Below you will find everyone's comments. As the person in charge of the trip I can say that the owner was very easy to work with and took time with us. There was a slight maintenance problem while we were there and it was resolved immediately, very impressive! Here's what our group had to say: "beautiful, beautiful luxury lodgings!" "peaceful, beautiful and plenty of space" "incredible value" "peaceful, comfortable, want to come back here every year!!" "This is exactly what I was hoping for for this trip" "I travel quite a bit and use VRBO consistently. Once again we have gotten more value for our travel dollar. Will certainly come back to these accommodations again."Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

This was a week trip to the Bryce/Zion area for a group of families from the neighborhood. Kids and adults all had fun in this spectacular setting. It is well located to all the major parks in the area. Of course, if you prefer, you can simply enjoy the view from the porch, as it stunning. The rooms and kitchen were a joy to be in and I would definitely go back. Thanks for sharing this great place!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

We stayed over Easter weekend with 3 families including 7 children. The cabin had everything we could have wished for, and more. It was beautiful inside and out. We had an Easter Egg Hunt in the back yard, which overlooks a beautiful valley. Stunning really. The drive to Bryce was 45 mintutes, 1 hour + to Zion. We didn't see anything comparable closer to the parks. I'd recommend highly.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

This home exceeded our expectations in every way! It had everything we needed from the moment we walked in. My sister and her family and my brother joined us. The views from this home are breathtaking. Even all of the bedrooms shared the same fabulous views. Our kids enjoyed sledding during the day.We all watched movies in the movie room and even played a few games of pool. The great room was very cozy for the adults to sit and chat with a fire burning in the fireplace. Our family created memories that will never be forgotten.Thank you so much for sharing this incredible home!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

Why the Owner Chose Bryce Canyon National Park:
My husband has always wanted a REAL log home. SO, we picked a really unique 11 acre ridge top lot. The location has incredible 100 mile PANORAMIC views. The elevation is about 8000 ft. The temperatures in the Summer are the best! Taking in ALL of the outdoor activities is so....nice, then maybe in the evening a sweatshirt is needed. You can't beat it! Then the Fall season, the color change of the leaves are a sure thing to talk about. Then the Winter,a crazy snow storm one day, then the next is a beautiful sunny day! You can't beat Utah's snow!!!!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The best thing about the location of the home is the 100+ mile views from inside and outside this home. As there are windows, windows and more windows. Being that it is centraly located to all of the things to see and do in the Southern Utah area is a real plus. The Dixie National Forest is our backyard. The easy access to 100's of miles of trails is really nice. Also, the Elk Bugling in AUG,SEPTand OCT is an experience that you'll never forget!Prime, Prime property! Guaranteed, you won't be disappointed, and actually you'll probably never want to leave!!
